Not a lot open the day after Christmas. We ordered a 12 ounce latte (comes with 3 shots) with oat milk and an extra shot of espresso, a hot chocolate with almond milk, a chocolate croissant and a cranberry orange scone. $23.38 for our afternoon snacks and drinks. The scone is okay, not as crumbly or possessing the texture expected, softer even. The chocolate croissant was okay, the croissant itself was nicely layered and slightly buttery, but had the smallest sliver of chocolate in it, should have two rows if they go with the single stick down the length of the croissant. The hot chocolate is so-so, just a touch of chocolate flavoring in it. I asked for more chocolate in it, stating it was too weak. They added more to it, it's a bit better. Lots of arrwork for sale on the walls. There's a lot of cow love on the walls by the counter. Interesting drum lights too.

Was able to grab a nice coffee from here early in the morning. I would recommend this to anyone stopping by the town.

We visited for a couple coffees on Saturday afternoon. We waited 45+ minutes for a latte and 2 chai's with no warning. I won't be back.

Great coffee came with great service and a well designed place to sip and relax. A great pit stop right in the heart of Bennington

A little pricy but their iced matcha latte with almond milk has good flavor.

It was great for the whole crew, the kids and the kids at heart. Denise made my family feel welcome in her family's shop, teaching us step by step about the process of how they make chocolate. The variety of chocolates that they have are delectable and we even got to taste three distinct options in the class. Of course we purchased many of the available sweets and treats on our way out too. 10/10 and will be coming back to when their beverage making class is up and running in the spring!

They had Easter egg death by chocolate (which they said was very popular) for $8 and BOGO sale. They were definitely veryyy heavy and very chocolatey it didn't disappoint! Just wish there was more dimensions to it than just pure fudgey chocolate since it was advertised as layers of this and that but still solid. Also got these cute orange mints ~$8 but unfortunately had no orange or even mint flavor. I tried all the butter crunch flavors with my favorite being the maple (perfection!!), dark chocolate (heavenly!), and not really liking the milk chocolate since it was too sweet and too thick of a crunch center andunproportional. Tried 1 of each and came out to ~$3. Overall definitely a cute shop and worth trying out! Came on a cold day when the town was all closed so this shop was definitely a highlight.

Located in Manchester VT a very homey little candy shop…read more You walk into this place in Manchester and just kinda think...why does this store fit perfectly for where I am at at this moment? It's truly a pleasant little store. The lady seemed a little weirded out when my brother and I first walked in. We were in Manchester for the night, on our way back to NY from a week in Maine. She looked at us like....hmm I dunno, don't wanna say anything mean bc she wasn't mean lol, she just looked at us ... weirdly lol. Not sure how else to put it. As our visit went on she ended up being very nice. I just hope she didn't think we were in there to like...steal a couple pieces of candy hahaha. I mean, we aren't 10 years old anymore lol. She then went on to tell us about the store and how all the candy is made there (pretty sure that's what she said). I just remember thinking....how wonderful that this stuff isn't imported from places like...ugh China! They have everything! Every possible kind of candy you can imagine...she has it. She gave us a free sample and it was amazing! There are few great candy shoppes in Manchester. This one is definitely one of them. Prices are a little...high. Just a heads up if you go here. Couple things to consider as to why tho... 1) it's Manchester VT. It's a very bougie little town. Only makes sense most things are pricey there 2) privately owned 3) candy is made on site 4) it's Manchester Vermont lol Should this stop you from going? Absolutely not. Even if you're just in to look...it's worth it. Really a cute store. I hope to return to it one day. Living in Idaho, I rarely make it to Vermont lol. BUT IF I DO! I will for sure head back into Mother Myricks! Thanks for reading, YelperMyrickers! Cheers!

I also bought a peach-raspberry muffin and a blueberry muffin. The muffins looked great but were without ANY flavor. Downright awful, not sure what that was about, but the chocolates were very good. I don't think they were quite as good as Lake Champlain chocolates, but they were a close second. I always appreciate the freshness factor (in addition to flavor), so it mattered that the orange peel and apricots were very fresh. If we are ever in the area, I'd come back here for sure, but I'd stick with the chocolates only. No more baked goods !

Think  handmade creams, truffles, mints, cordials, butter-crunch, caramels, nut clusters, turtles, chocolate covered orange peel, ginger, apricots and pretzels. Want more? How about fudge, white chocolate, barks, clusters, pops, and sugar free chocolates. We paid $38.22 for a bagful of goodies - 2 boxes of hand picked chocolates (sugar free and high test), a piece of bark, a chocolate bar, and two turkey shaped chocolate pops for the grand kiddos. A small gift bag of nonpareils was  tossed in gratis. The store is quite large, so walking around and checking out the goods is quite a fun experience. The only disappointment we had was that their chocolate apple season just ended the week before.
