Fish tacos
Cawnii P.

Beautiful views, setting and restaurant. The inside was very spacious, clean and loved watching the Olympic Games while there. Our server Marcus, 5*, was very friendly. Food took a long time to get to the table. We ordered fish tacos, very messy and hard to pick up 2*, chicken wings were way over cooked and hard to chew 1*, fries, okay could have been cooked more 3*. We were disappointed as we had heard great things about this restaurant but will give it another try. In the pictures the wings were photogenic but were hard to chew.

Side salad

We came here last yr and enjoyed it. So we decided to go again since we are visiting Mesquite. I had the blackened shrimp salad. Very delicious. The dressing is very spicy so I asked for ranch and used both. My husband had the clubhouse sandwich with a side salad. It was delicious. The other night he had a patty melt and enjoyed it. Everything is so fresh and tasty. Our friends had a tuna melt and a side salad. Also instead of fish tacos he changed it to salmon. They were really big and looked delicious Side salad was excellent. Dressing seemed to be made from scratch. Very good! The service was good the night we went with our friends. When we went again just the two of us we waited a while to be acknowledged. The server wasn't very friendly. Guess thats her personality. It's noisy in the restaurant. Great view of the golf course. We highly recommend eating here.

Double Bogey

Service was spotty - took them 10 minutes to realize we were at a table. The waitress was very apologetic and took great care of us after. The sampler plate was well done. The wings were jerky wings, the tenders were over done and the potato skins were good. I really enjoyed my side salad. Two of our burgers were very well done and so were the fried and tots. The Conestoga was the favorite dish as the fries were not over done and neither was the burger patty. The pastrami was ok but wished it was thinner. I may give them another try as sometimes places have off days. I understand the importance of food safety but having overdone food was not very enjoyable

The pastrami burger was bomb!!

My hubby loved the pastrami burger!! I always get the jaliscan tacos & the truffle Parmesan fries

BEST RANCH DRESSING EVER! Amazing clean bathrooms with a huge handicapped stall (thank you) Good service, good food, good prices. Drove in from Vegas just for the ranch because I couldn't stop thinking about it after we stopped here last year. Lol 20% off your entire bill with Yelp check-in!

Food and service is great. I think they have the best burgers in Mesquite. The noise level can be a little high but it is worth it.

Food was great, drinks were great. Service was amazing. The server was very attentive. Only problem was there are news channels on the tvs. I would rather watch sports than to worry about what's going on with celebrities, or our president. Don't know why they don't crack down on this!!!

I cannot fathom how I need to be in the middle of MesquiNevada to enjoy good Peruvian food. My only tip is to understand the restaurant front is hidden behind the Dermatologist office. Like, impossible to find without determination and attention to detail. Nearly walked away once we circled parking lot. So glad we did not drive away!

The restaurant itself is quaint and has a nice, casual atmosphere. The Lomo Saltado had tender beef, onions and tomatoes tossed in a savory sauce and served with rice and fries. Such a simple combination of flavors and textures, but damn, does it work. For me, huevo frito is a mandatory addition. I love the yolk nice and runny so you can break it over the rice and let it soak up all that goodness. My egg was more cooked than I prefer this time, but that's a minor critique of an otherwise delicious meal. The one area that could use some improvement is the service. I'm not sure if they were simply understaffed during my visit, but service was noticeably slow and not quite as attentive as I would have hoped. Nothing that ruined the experience, just something that could make an already good little restaurant even better. The food definitely satisfied the craving, and I'd happily give them another visit.

Please note this Peggy Sue's is not affiliated in any way with Peegy Sue's in Yermo CA…read more The diner has a great 50's vibe and decor the food was good. Just as described o.n menu and portions just right. The service wasn't the best, we had to ask for our coffee to be refilled and the server forgot my toast. We had to flag down someone for both the coffee refill and to ask for my toast. The diner was not busy and I am disappointed that the server was not attentive. You know normally guest are served and then the server checks back after a few minutes to see if you need anything else. Well not the case here.

They replaced the meal, but that should never have made it out of the kitchen. On my most recent visit, I ordered a roast beef sandwich. The meat had a strange sticky texture, that I later noticed after 55% completed and later that day I developed severe stomach pain and digestive issues. I hadn't eaten anything else that day, so I was very concerned. To make matters worse, communication with several staff members was difficult because of the language barrier. I had trouble explaining my order and asking questions, which only added to the frustration. A restaurant that's built around the image of a classic American 1950s diner should deliver good food, good service, and clear communication with its customers. Unfortunately, my experiences have fallen well short of that. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary improvements.

The buffet isn't huge, but the food was good and there are lots of choices. Not bad for the price we paid. The desert bar has the MOST delicious bread pudding that I have had in a long time. Our waitress Michele was EXCELLENT she kept our empty plates cleared and was coming by all the time to check on us. While we were in line waiting to get it, we met 2 other couples from N. Las Vegas that lives in our neighborhood. No, we don't know them, but it was fun talking to them in line. They too were looking for a good buffet. Yes, we will be back :)

Disappointing Visit to Sierra Buffet…read more We arrived at 10 AM expecting to enjoy breakfast, only to find out they had just switched over to lunch. A little disappointed, we decided to give it a try since the lunch items had just been put out fresh. Unfortunately, the hot food was a letdown. Most of the dishes were under-seasoned and surprisingly not very hot, even though they had just been brought out. The mac and cheese was watery, the fried fish was lukewarm, and the country gravy was basically flavorless. Thankfully, the salad bar and fresh fruit did not disappoint and were definitely the highlights of the meal. Overall, we were disappointed with the quality of the hot items and expected more from a buffet. Hopefully, this was just an off day.
