Great brewery! We found this through Harvest Hosts and loved the location from a camping standpoint and for the beers. We tried both the Sours, Peach and the Lemon Blueberry, both were fantastic and I left with 4-packs of both. I also tried the Whistler's Wheat Hefeweizen, which was also excellent. The had a good vendor there, Mise En Place, which had a great Tri Tip Cheese Steak sandwich and some good gravy fries. There was a great local band playing that played a ton of different genres of music.

This is the place that a brewery should be. Great venue with plenty of seating inside and outside. Beer was very good. The road to get there was a little narrow but made the trip memorable. Definitely recommend this place

A friend of mine recommended this place. I am so glad to follow his recommendation. It was very nice weather outside. My daughters ran around their playground and were so excited to see goats. Of course they got excellent beer collection. I enjoyed the sour beer. My husband enjoyed stout. This is located at middle of nowhere but this is for everyone to enjoy. It was too bad that a food truck didn't show up.

A very nice family friendly brewery. The brewery/bar area is not well marked but from the grassy parking area, walk straight ahead to the brewery building. The building on the left (to the left of the silo) is a private party area (that we walked into by accident!) A few more signs, especially on the doors, would be helpful! We liked the variety of beers, we tried The Blood Orange, the Farm Lager, the Wheat Heferweiesen, and the Oktoberfest! We brought a game for our family to play at one of the long tables. At first we weren't sure how family friendly it was, but later a large family with lots of kids (and dogs!) came in! We'd love to come back in warmer weather and enjoy a band and the outdoor patio!

Good small town vibe brewery in a nicely restored mill. The beers were decent and the ambiance was welcoming. Food is done separately by a different vendor. But food is pretty good also. They had a singer Jewelein Stevenson perform on Saturday Feb 5. She was pretty good too! Had a great experience here.

Great beer, drinks and there was a BBQ VENDOR there with great food. Live music started at 6 which created a great atmosphere. We came here with our camper van part of Harvest Host and stayed the night.

This brewery was such a pleasant surprise in the middle of nowhere. The beer was well made and the atmosphere was inviting and warm. Great spot to stop, food trucks on the weekends!

Awesome Brewery! Amazing remodeled Barn with an amazing outdoor space! But go inside and you are in the basement of a remodeled barn that is top notch! I'm not a big craft beer fan but I liked really, really liked their Maddy Golden. No restaurant here & that's okay! They have a small selection of fresh made small handhelds (chicken tacos, pretzels & beer cheese, nachos ) & snacks! I almost think a restaurant would ruin this place! Love the atmosphere and can't wait to ride our motorcycles back down here next summer!

We came in to get drinks to go with our food (we got food from the food truck outside "Firebox"). The food from Firebox was good and it was a generous portion for the price. The drink options that were not beer were limited, and half of those options on the menu weren't available. My partner got the berry chocolate stout and said it was "pretty good". We hoped to sit outside, but the only available table had broken glass all over it from a busted door. It does have convenient parking and I liked the industrial decor. The service was good and the lady was very nice. One thing I will point out is that one of our glasses had pink lipstick on it from a previous customer. But if you only want beer and a place to chill - it might be just right for you.

I also appreciate the ample outdoor seating available. Always a big plus for me, even if the outdoor area is really just tables set up on the sidewalk overlooking the parking lot - as it is in this case. The service was fine. It wasn't crazy busy there but the bartender had a little edge to her like we were more on an annoyance than a patron. They have a refill club where you can buy a mug and get your name printed on it with discounted refills. Again I appreciate that kind of thing, but the bartender seemed way more interested in some of the regulars than us. Just the vibe she gave off that night I guess. And lastly the beer...it's solid. Not great, but solid. Lots of darker beers which is fine for me personally, but the darks outnumbered the IPAs, pilsners, etc the night we were there. I'd expect a little more variety. Still, it's good enough that I'd go back next time I'm in Cumberland, but not so good that I'd make a special trip out of my way. My scale: 1 - Just don't 2 - You'll survive, but there are better choices close by 3 - Good choice if you're in the area 4 - I'd drive up to 30 minutes just to come here 5 - I'd try to convince my wife to drive an hour just to come here

During our visit along the Laurel Highlands Pour Tour, we were greeted by an atmosphere that was simply extraordinary. As dusk settled outside, we stepped into a cozy space adorned with a small bar area. The menu, displayed both on a board and on paper, showcased their impressive selection of drafts. Opting for a flight, I found myself particularly drawn to their stout--an unexpected but delightful turn of events as I've recently developed a fondness for them. Adding to the ambiance, a small musical act entertained patrons in another area, while the presence of food trucks hinted at the culinary delights on offer. The beer itself was exceptional, complemented by impeccable service. Eager to take home a memento of our visit, I inquired about purchasing a t-shirt. The staff kindly provided access to the upstairs store room where I secured the last 3XL shirt available, along with some stickers for both the pour tour and my laptop. Overall, it was a fantastic stop characterized by friendly service, outstanding beer, and an atmosphere that left a lasting impression. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Then for the third time couldn't remember our names that she had already put in the register. I'm 100% not blaming this younger lady that was working. I blame the owner/management for not having another person working that day.

"A cool brewery in a nice quaint area that is close to the interstate for fast and easy access to a…read moredelicious beer and surprisingly good food." When me and my girlfriend take road trips or mini vacations we try to hit up every brewery in that area and/or surrounding areas. On a recent birthday trip to Rocky Gap Resort that my sweet and beautiful girlfriend arranged for us we stopped in here during the early evening last week. As we pulled up I liked the whole aesthetics of this place. So we walked in and the place was pretty busy for an early Sunday evening but I believe it was because of the musicians that were scheduled to play. I noticed a lot of cool metal art which I later found out the owner created. That's awesome! We immediately walked up to the bar and ordered a couple of beers. - Shanty Irish Red Ale for my gf 4/5 - Iron Bird Hazy IPA for me 5/5 As we were enjoying our beers the people next to us received a food order and I looked at my girlfriend and said that pizza looks good. She replied, You want me to get us one? I giggled because she is a foodie like me lol. So we looked over the menu and decided on a 10" cheese pizza with mushrooms & jalapeños and a small order of chicken bites with honey mustard. So after about 10 minutes our buzzer went off and my gf walked up to get our food. We really enjoyed every bit of the pizza and chicken bites. Thank you! - Pizza 4/5 - Chicken Bites 4/5 While we were eating our food there were two people who started playing music and this is why this place gets 4 not 5 stars. Not because the musicians weren't good but because a place this size should never have people playing music so loud that you can't even have a normal conversation without saying huh or yelling. One of the two owners came over and asked if I'd like another beer and I could barely hear her and then the other owner came over and introduced himself to us and talked to us for about 5 minutes or so about the brewery, business, art, etc. and we could barely hear him and some things he said we couldn't make out, which sucks because I would have loved to chat with him without a loud distraction. Seemed like a very interesting and knowledgeable man. Next time my guy. Listen, I'm a huge brewery person and this brewery has great vibes and everything you could want to enjoy while visiting one but having musicians with amps blasting inside no longer makes it what makes breweries great and then turns into a bar. The whole reason of going to a brewery is to enjoy good beer, good food, and good conversation and that's impossible with music blasting. You can either be a bar or a brewery but you can't be both. Light music or acoustic would be much better in my opinion and my opinion should matter because I've been to hundreds of breweries across the United States. Either way the beer was good and the food was too. We will be back soon. Thanks for creating a nice and welcoming space. Sláinte

I've been here a few times before. My wife and I fell in love with this place the first time we were here. The owner is personable, friendly and enjoys his work. You can tell by the way he carries himself. And his wife is right next to him. With her own smile. All that said, the real reason for coming is the beer. This place has much to offer. On the menu are a Belgian white, a seasonal lager, Kolach, Hefeweizen, Irish red, stouts, IPAs, and a porter. I ask you to find that much of a choice in any other brewery and walk out angry. It cannot be done. For today I had tastes of the pumpkin, harvest ale and lager, before settling on the lager. TBH we came for the Hefeweizen but they just ran out. If you are looking for a brewery stop in please, and leave me a response.
