Awesome stuffed Chicken Caesar Wrap on spinach tortilla.
    Correy H.

1801 Eatery has been my 'go to' place for the past 4 years. Even during COVID, I could always count on them for a great lunch or a quick snack. This family run business excels at customer service --- and makes sure you leave with a smile on your face. While I do like my regular Chicken Caesar Wrap, they have an amazing burger/fries and Chicken Enchiladas (special only on Thursdays). Breakfast is always a treat there too. The breakfast burritos are fantastic (note - they are very large) --- but many times I just grab some scrabbled eggs for around $2. I can't stress enough about the staff here. They sincerely care about their customers. TIP: You can never go wrong with their daily specials --- but be sure to get there before early, because many times they are sold out.

Food counter with seating, inside an office building. Breakfast sandwiches and burritos. The ladies running it are nice but this is nothing fancy or remotely healthy. The pictures tells the story better than I could. This is a place for the office worker to grab their daily burrito and coffee and wonder why their cholesterol sky high. I gave it a 4 just because the ladies working are so nice. Its also cheap eats, burrito and coffee less than 8 bucks. The coffee is actually really good, but only serves drip coffee. There are no Carmel macchiatos or tofu scrambles here.

South of the Border Baked Potato $5.49 (from Intermission Café)

Gomez burrito cart was taking a while, and I needed to get back to my office for a conf call. So, I jumped ship and went inside to my fave old standby, 1801 Eatery. This visit, I was determined to step out of what had become my usual -- chicken Lo Mein -- and try something new. Sadly, I had a very small amount of cash, so I went with an old favorite, the baked potato. When 1801 was Intermission Café, i alternated between The Texan and the South of the Border potatoes. The Texan is, sadly, not on 1801's menu, but the South of the Border seems to have been remodeled into The Mexican, only missing the butter. It's deeeelish. As always, the folks at 1801 are SO nice, and SO helpful; which makes this lunch spot an eternal favorite of mine!

Greek Omelette is awesome. Biscuits and gravy are good. Service was fabulous. Get there early it will fill out but worth the wait.

Who microwaves meat? The sandwich is not edible- tough greasy meat destroyed the bread and could not be eaten.

Awful food. Ingredients from Costco or some place worse. They do have a spicy veggie soup that is actually decent. Everything else is awful.

From the customer service and environment to the food and whiskey selection, I'm always impressed at how high quality of a long standing institution this is in Denver. On my most recent trip, a bar fight broke out, but our waiter James handled this with ease... even though he got punched in the face. We tipped him well. Food is always fantastic. Get the prime rib alongside a draft beer. We also ordered Tacos and Loaded Potato Skins as appetizers. I'd love to sit at the bar next time to dig into their whiskey selection!

I have been coming here since I was a kid and back then the place was packed with orange T-shirts and full of smoke. Fans would wield Bloody Mary's and cheer on the Broncos with Craig Morton at the helm. Now it is more refined and smoke free, but still a great place to enjoy sports. The classic Eggs Benedict has always been my favorite and what I get just about every time. You can't go wrong! In my younger days I would toss back a couple bloody Mary's but times change and now I mostly get Corvus Cold Brew, both drinks are solid choices. If you haven't been here you need to visit. Eat some food, cheer on your favorite team, and hit Target on the way home! BTW, Target is another Glendale anchor! Cheers, my friends!

After reading other reviews and checking out photos beforehand, I knew the Colorado lamb was a must-order. It's not something I usually go for, but it ended up being my favorite dish of the night. Absolutely worth the hype. We also ordered the birria short rib and hickory smoked picanha, and both were solid choices. The shrimp and corn grits were amazing, and I really loved the aged cheddar mac and cheese. Other dishes like the chickpea croquettes and the chili relleno were also pretty good and rounded out the meal nicely. The wait staff was fantastic. Super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The restaurant itself has a cool, lively vibe. The only minor downside was that the outdoor heaters were a bit too hot, but that's a very small nitpick. Overall, an easy 5 out of 5 stars. Great food, great service, and a place I'd happily come back to.

We ordered the Rosemary fries which were very crispy and fresh do they did not last long. The bartender was very nice and was very attentive. I decided on the wings and my friend ordered a spicy burger. I got a full order of wings and they come out with lots of celery carrot which I love. I always get dry rub and sauce on the side so I can control the mess and the sauce. My friend's burger looked fantastic and it came with homemade chips which, were some of the best I've ever had! Their beer list is many and what I had I enjoyed. They also have a list of cocktails and wine. There's outdoor seating at ground level and a roof that has tables and a bar. I will return to try some of the other things that caught my eye.

Great location, relaxed vibes, especially on a Sunday evening. The beer was solid, but the food stole the show (mostly across the board). Most of our group was happy with their dishes. I had the steak sandwich with a side salad, and the sandwich was top tier. I'm a sucker for a good sandwich, and this one absolutely hit the spot. It was also pretty large, which made it more of a fork-and-knife situation than a handheld one, but no complaints there. A few people in our party upgraded their sides to the sweet potato fries, which were next level. Perfect balance of crispiness with a hint of sweetness that made them stand out. One miss in the group was the mac and cheese; my sister ordered it and wasn't a fan, felt it was too liquidy/runny and underwhelming compared to everything else we tried. Only minor knock overall was that the kitchen was pretty slow, especially considering it wasn't very busy late on a Sunday evening. Not a dealbreaker, but something worth noting if you're in a hurry. Overall, great first Denver meal; good beer, mostly good food, and a relaxed spot that made for a solid welcome to the city.
