I wouldn't even bother trying to book an appointment online if you're a first time guest - just call! Per other Yelpers, I booked with John because I enjoy deep tissue and apparently he is great (spoiler alert: HE IS THE BEST!!). Heads up though that he is booked weeks in advance, and yes, he is worth the wait! Upon arrival you are greeted with a warm neck pillow while you fill out a simple new guest form. Standard questions like "where is your pain generally located" etc. As an avid massage receiver, I've never been asked "what music do you prefer during your massage" or "what scent would you like?" The customization they offer is top notch and I appreciated the options. Once your form has been completed, you're taken back to the immaculate locker room and provided with a robe and sandals. This robe...WOW. It was probably the most lush piece of clothing I've ever placed upon my body. I wish they sold them at the spa because I would've purchased immediately with zero buyers remorse. You are shown a locker to place your belongings in with a lock, so you don't have to worry about leaving your purse/jewelry while you enjoy your chosen service(s). There is also a restroom and shower. Once changed, you migrate to the waiting area where water and tea is provided if you'd like. Okay, now to the best part, the massage... FIVE STARS. John was extremely professional, listened to my areas of concern and the 60 minutes felt like two hours. He was very meticulous and the pressure was exactly what I wanted, firm and deep. If you like firm, book with John. I can't rave enough about him!! Overall experience exceeded my expectations and upon check out I booked another massage with John and a facial. Then she immediately started in on the new application. I stopped her and said wait, aren't you going to do my cuticles (I had been 5 weeks and needed the cuticles brought down). She said, "oh, I'll get them at the end." Yes, I should have left at that point but I was tired and just thought oh, well. She did try at the end of the session to bring the cuticles down but it was absolutely pathetic and of course, the nail dip had not gone as far as it would have if the cuticles were pushed back and trimmed to start off with. During the application process, she continually told me to watch the dogs on the tv, that it would help me relax. My mind was on the color of the powder and I was puzzled on how it was going to come out a coral color -thus I was looking at my hands. When I lifted a hand to stare at it, she said that it would be alright that she wasn't finished yet. I do know that the color pops when they apply the liquid coat but I was baffled by how "white" it was. In hindsight maybe she meant the smoothness of the nail was going to change. IDK. In the end, the nail color was a light pink and not the coral color, 094, that I had selected. When I complained to my manicurist she said that I like light colors and it looks good on me....that I can change it in a couple of weeks. I complained, I showed three people the book. I was told colors and numbers vary every time they get new inventory. I was told the colors don't match the numbers. I went and got the book and showed them that it is not just a dye lot variation that it is a completely different color. I suggested they mark that one out so no one else encounters this. Nope, they would not do it. I asked why they bother to have the client select the color then. I asked where their disclaimer is posted so the client knows to expect this. I was told it was my fault and that I should ask for them to create a sample nail in the future. Well, there will be no future for me and Castle Nails and Spa. I have never had this happen before, anywhere! It is their blaming me then the lack of responsibility that made me so angry that I won't return. Correcting the book by crossing out 094 would have been responsibility. Offering a discount on the present or a future service would have been responsibility. The manicurist finally apologized and offered to redo my nails right then. I was the last client of the day and was exhausted from a recent surgery and declined. I waited a week to write this review...yep, still not going back there.

Then I find out they don't charge my card, it was the other person who had their card on file. What a hassle. They don't have Zelle and having to leave early to get cash to pay her back. What a mess. They have complimentary snacks and flavored water. There are also still cozy blankets throughout the room you can use. I will say the chairs are not super comfortable so which I would bet is to ensure you don't lounge around all day. The complimentary drink situation hasn't changed, but they have added clarification at the front desk and in the lounge. ONE complimentary drink is offered (wine, champagne, mimosa, tea) and you can choose to have it prior to your service or after. I would recommend if you are arriving less than 30min before your service OR it's busy, get your drink AFTER! There are only so many staff members and if it's busy your drink won't be delivered with enough time to actually enjoy it prior to your service. They have removed the door from the shower and replaced it with a curtain so it's easier to spot. HOWEVER, they do not offer towels larger than a washcloth, so if you plan to shower BRING your OWN towel! They do however have complimentary shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. For the first time I ever I included a facial to my visit. The Repair and Revive facial was incredibly relaxing and my skin looked wonderful! I do wish more instruction had been offered when I checked in as this was my first facial. For ex: - Do I wear a robe, or go in my clothes? A: Either. You take off your top and they have you wear a wrap before climbing under a warm blanket and lay on a table (like a massage). - Should I shower before because I won't want to wash my face after? A: yes. Sunscreen and other creams were added to my face so I did not want to shower after. -Should I have my hair done or leave it messy after a massage? A: They massage your neck and around your hairline with oils then wrap a soft headband around your hair to keep it off your face.
