Suppose to originally be made with hojicha but they told me they got a bad batch of hojicha and said the matcha verison would be a good alternative. I can't even imagine how much I would have loved the hojicha version (hojicha is one of my favorites). Really made my morning when I got this! Sopapilla Latte - honey, vanilla, cinnamon - my 2nd latte I ended up getting when I was in the area again ha. Was great I don't think my research for some of the best coffee in town was wrong coming here. Interior was much larger then I thought. From outside it seems like a small shop in Mckinney. Only street parking available and definitely didn't help with whatever event was in town when I came with half the streets shut down with detours but you will still be able to find parking somewhere near I enjoyed this place quite a bit and would definitely come back!

There were a few scattered tables outdoors, but it's too hot so we chose the cool air conditioned inside. There are five tables of two inside, but we had outer pick. The woman behind the counter greeted us warmly and gave us space to decide. My cold brew, straight up, is tasty. In the 1:30min we were here five or so other people came in to order a drink to go. The quiet is exactly what we were looking for to study so it's been a delight. The playlist in the background has been great too. If you're looking for a quiet spot to read, work or study this is the place for you! The drink menu is pretty versatile and they have a few pastries along with sandwiches too.

Great tasting coffee, fair prices, fast service. They also have a few pastries, scones, and monstrous sized cookies. The name of the shop "Country Charm Coffee" is a little deceiving. There were no farm tools, saddles, or horse collars, hanging on the wall. No road signs, flour sacks, pickle barrels, or even a vintage oil company sign. It's modern city décor. There was a piece of barn tin decorating the counter. That will work. And written on the wall, "Welcome Y'all!" "Charm?" I really don't have the skill set needed to properly assess charm. I'll stick with friendly. I know what friendly is. Lastly, no drive through. I hate drive throughs anyway. I like to go in, meet the folks running the place, and see what the operation looks like. So, get out of the car, stretch, only a few steps to the front door. Call it a workout. Counts as 4 calories. After a workout like that, you earned whipped cream on your drink. The hours were limited, but I was lucky to see that TexaKona FM 107 Drinks and Cafe had a lot of the really cool beans from TexaKona. I walk in and the place is located in a large building. There are lots of other quaint shops, and this coffee shop looks really cool and has a great feel. The young lady behind the counter greeted me with a smile. I told her I was looking for beans and she began explaining the different beans they have there. She even offered to make shots so I can sample the beans. While I didn't take her up on trying shots, I did take her advice on what beans to buy, and for my first trip, I purchased two bags of Journalist Blend. I'll sit on these beans for 2-3 days since I'm just now finishing my last bag of existing coffee, but I look forward to dialing in these beans. Back to TexaKona. It had no espresso and no cold foam, even though the menu lists cold foam as part of the drink. We went back hoping they would simply remake it correctly, but instead we were met with some of the worst customer service I've experienced. Rather than apologizing or trying to make it right, the baristas insisted my husband "didn't say dirty" and then told us we had to specifically ask for the cold foam, even though it's advertised as being included. To top it off, they charged us an additional $3+ for the cold foam and 1 shot of espresso. A drink that was already around $7 ended up costing over $10 just to receive what the menu originally described. Mistakes happen, and I completely understand that. What I don't understand is the lack of accountability and the unwillingness to provide good customer service. A simple apology and a willingness to fix the mistake would have gone a long way.
