Having a little stop over in Celina this morning and searched for coffee shops on Yelps. Found this great little spot on the main street of Celina. The location is nice and bright with a friendly staff greeting me as I walked in. Plenty of seating inside with a couple spots on the sidewalk and a patio in the rear. Great coffee selection and my usual latte was perfect. Not too hot. They also offer a selection of items to eat and while I didn't grab one today, they looked tasty. WiFi is available with the password posted on the counter. I don't get this way often, but would definitely make a stop here again. Make sure if you are in the area, stop by and give them a try. Charming, Downtown Celina coffeehouse. Guaranteed to run into a friend while waiting on your coffee. I always ask for Quarter sweetness on the Moon Milk so I can taste the coffee. Otherwise I'll do a cold brew with heavy cream and vanilla. A little bit pricier than most but the staff is friendly and helpful with suggestions. Oh, and the Almond Croissant - amazing! Perfect little neighborhood coffee shop! I was so grateful to find they have a location in Celina and was able to visit each morning I was in town. I had the blueberry crisp latte with oat milk every day. It was soooo yummy! The moon milk, which I have yet to actually find out what it is - does contain dairy but I chose to leave it in. Each morning I observed this being very similar to the coffee shops I frequent on an everyday basis, plenty of members of the community sitting in taking meetings, having interviews, working, enjoying their coffee and hanging out. The place was never anywhere near empty and had the perfect amount of early morning energy to get your day started off on the right foot. My sister in law had the Summer Moon latte and really enjoyed it. Service was polite but not overly friendly or intrusive and I'm pretty confident they knew we were new to the area, especially coming each day. I suspect you know the regulars around here. If I were in town longer, I suppose I'd strike up a deeper convo with the folks who work here since they didn't. I'm use to chatting up my coffee shop staff and baristas each visit, but I suppose this is because I'm a regular and they always eager and excited to chat. If you're new to the area or just passing through, this will be your absolute best bet for coffee as it's truly wonderful. I look forward to visiting a lot more in the near future. read more

We were in downtown Celina killing some time before my daughter's band performance last week and decided to stop in to Summer Moon to grab a drink. What an adorable place! It's so refreshing to see a thoughtfully laid out interior of a business. Being a designer I know I'm a little bit of a snob but I was seriously impressed with Summer Moon's interior decor! I like the little bench moment with the hanging pendant lights at the front. The store was well laid out and had a multitude of coffee options, I'm not a coffee drinker but I did try the hibiscus mint tea which was very refreshing. I've had the chance to experience a hand full of Summer Moon locations over the years (in both the greater Austin and Dallas metroplexes) and each time I visit a new location, I'm impressed by their 'modernized rustic' décor. This weekend when I visited Summer Moon's Celina location was no different. I was impressed when I first walked in... the overhead 'floating' lamps along the wall by the seating area, wood paneling, and colorful tile-art wrapping around the coffee bar was a joyful greeting to guests. It was busy, but the the staff kept their cool and were both accommodating and friendly. I had a hard time deciding between 2 drinks and opted for combining the mixture of the second drink I was deciding on (an Autumn Moon) into the first drink I was deciding on (a half sweet, half spicy chai). The drink tasted mostly like milk...I couldn't make out a single flavor. I would recommend Summer Moon for the environment. If you're looking for a good cup of coffee or tea, I would recommend you go elsewhere. read more
