It's amazing how far you'll drive for a good kolache. We joyfully made the drive from Plano to Celina to grab kolache's from the kolache shoppe inCelina. It's a quick beautiful drive up Preston Road. Conveniently located just off of Preston. This delightful kolache shop shouldn't be missed. We were excited to hear they were open on New Year's Day. What a great way to start the year. Knowing their kolaches are so good from our previous experience at the Houston stores, we picked up a little of everything (sweet, savory, and even a mini cinnamon roll). All were delicious and fresh. Jake, the owner of this location, was even working on New Year's Day. I foresee great things for this location. Do yourself and your family a favor. Wow! Wow! Wow! This place blew us away. Amazingly breakfast spot. Food is fresh and delicious. The Sausage, egg cheese roll is my favorite. This was our second time ordering from here we have also had their berry and Nutella kolaches. Both were fantastic. The service was also very kind and helpful. This is a gem. One of the few places open during the holiday. We ordered the potato, egg and cheese which was my fav, the spinach egg and cheese (will eat later but I'm sure it's good), and the brisket with jalapeño and cheese and venison. Hubs loved the venison one the best. We ordered to go so ask them to reheat it. The store was clean, staff attentive and kind. The espressos was also delicious. First off the service is top tier. I tried 4 items and a caramel hot latte. The coffee was good. They do not specialize in coffee so I was not expecting to be blown away. The kolaches are tasty. They are also fresh. The flavor is also ok. My palette is use to more in depth flavor so someone else might find the kolache to be bursting with flavor. I also think if they would have been a bit warmer maybe they would have been elevated in flavor. The sweet kolache was my favorite due to the component of flavor it presented. Love the Kolachies here! Everything was delicious. Had several different kinds we bought for Thanksgiving morning, cut them up so everyone could taste all of the different flavors! Big hit! I did come later in the morning which is understandable that everything wasn't super fresh- but with egg items it is important to not sell old items and only sell bakery items with fresh egg. read more

Wow! What a cute place. To be honest I didn't know what a Kolache was before I went in, but we had to check out the new place in town. What a nice surprise! Lots of pastries, breakfast items and specialty coffees. My favorite was the Ranchero, Egg and Cheese and the kids really liked the cinnamon twists. We also picked up some strawberry and blueberry pastries for the road. Very friendly staff - will definitely be part of our Sunday morning runs. read more

THIS PLACE IS SOOOOOO GOOOOD!!!!! I went on a Sunday morning at around 10:30am. There was still a good selection left and every employee was so nice. I had heard great things about this place but I live roughly 2 hours away. Today, I was staying only 20 minutes away so I made the trip and couldn't be more satisfied. The staff has that family feel and the decor is clean and modern but still cozy. The best part was definitely the food. I'm a breakfast snob. Too sweet? Too greasy? Too small? This place was none of that. I got the chorizo egg and cheese kolache knowing chorizo is famously always greasy and salty but somehow, even inside the kolache, it was delicious and balanced. The dough was light and airy but somehow savory combined with the right amount of filling and every bite was heaven. I wanted to test the sweeter side so I got a cherry and again, where others are too sweet or messy or hard to eat, while driving I was able to devour another perfectly balanced treat. It tasted fresh and natural and balanced the dough and cherry with precision. Needless to say, I'm going to be craving this and looking for excuses to make trips this way for a long time. I wish there were more because this is exactly what breakfast and kolaches should be! Sorry it didn't last long enough to take pictures, but their website photos aren't some corporate perfect versions you'll never actually see in real life - what you see is what you get and it was perfection from every angle! read more

Just went through the drive thru and ordered two sausage jalapeño kolaches for almost $4/each. The sausage was pushed out of the kolaches and they even gave me the wrong kind (no jalapeños). They were both COLD when supposed to be served hot. They had two new people working there were garbage employees. read more

All were good, but cheese was cooked out of kolache and breakfast kolache was not warmed enough. Somehow drive thru orders were out of order but they take names, so not really an issue, just odd. I have been waiting a while for this place to open, and I was not disappointed. The staff was really nice. They apologized because something I wanted was still in the oven. I didn't care because that meant I got a Nutella kolache that was still hot. I also tried a cinnamon roll that was fluffy and soft. Next time I want to try the fruit kolaches. Love this place, love the ownership and staff is always friendly, they do need to refine their process, every time I go through the drivethrough there is confusion about what I ordered. Today I went inside and stood at the "order here" sign for 5 minutes with no line and staff just stared at me. I finally said "is this where I order?" And got some help. The young man stepped out from behind the counter with a notepad and wrote down the 4 things I wanted. Then stepped back behind the counter, spoke to someone, and grabbed my kolaches. I also ordered an ice water and somehow they made two and were confused about who ordered it. It wasn't busy and there was no line, but folks waiting. This should be a 2 minute transaction like the donut shops, I point, you bag and I check out. I also would recommend them having a separate inventory for drive through. That would make things much more efficient. read more
