Was in the area and Stopped for kolaches on my last day of training. All I can say is...Jesus Christ! I ordered 2 large jalapeño and cheese kolaches. I see them being wrapped up and thought they messed up. Look at the pics. The shaved jalapeño and put it on top of the bread before cooking it. We stopped by Kolache Heaven very close to closing, knowing there might not be a huge selection left. We were in town visiting and were thinking to stop at a Kolache factory, but prefer supporting the smaller shops. We were so very pleasantly surprised by Natalie's kindness and hospitality. We ordered the sausage cheese kolaches, which were a very tasty breakfast or snack, and they held up great in the fridge and we finished them the next day. Natalie threw in a venison sausage for us to try and it was so yummy! Definitely recommend if you like a little spicy kick. The tea cake was phenomenal. And Natalie was so kind she snuck in some donuts for us. We were all surprised by how much we loved the donuts! (We aren't really donuts people) But they were so fresh and just the perfect glaze, not overly sweet. We tried a lot of local restaurants while we were here, but Natalie truly stands out in our memory of our trip. She was so friendly and so welcoming. The Kolaches here are amazing, the owner is very kind and courteous to customers, and provides great service. My favorites are the brisket kolache and the bacon and egg, the food here is always delicious. The ambiance is very local, very simple no flares until you see the kitchen in the back where the workers showcase their talents. This is by far one of the best kolache places I've been to. The staff is phenomenal! The kolaches and sausage rolls are delicious! My fiancé and I are moving to Dallas for his work. We came to Frisco to search for houses. I decided to go for a walk this morning and get a better lay of the land and wound up here. I didn't know what kolaches were and I peered into the window, thinking it was closed, since my interest was piqued. Someone told me it was open so I walked in. I was greeted with the delicious aromas of cinnamon roles. I unfortunately had not thought anything would have been open during my walk in the morning so I hadn't brought my credit card. When I told the clerk, I would be buying my fiancé one of these cinnamon roles for sure if I had my wallet, he immediately went to get one. I couldn't accept the kind gift. So my Hispanic husband and our Hispanic grandson went to get Sunday morning kolaches today. They had a children's book on their counter called "Donald Builds a Wall". I am disgusted that we (the very people that this business hates) gave them our money. My grandson's ancestors came here illegally seeking refuge. They all got their citizenship and they all have earned at least bachelors degrees here. They all chose careers that help people. One is a Critical Care RN, the other helps single mothers feed their babies. One is a physician. I wonder how many white American lives they have saved? That doesn't matter to the people who buy trash like this to hurt little brown kids. These are the kind of people that you want your wall to keep out. You can shove your kolaches up your ass. Okay, I already knew they had the best kolache in easy driving distance, and their sausage rolls are completely addictive. Now I find out about their cinnamon bread. It's massive!!! At $5 it is an amazing bargain, but no human can possibly eat it all in a couple of days. There is so much cinnamon and brown sugar and butter, it's almost a heart attack coming. It is so good. Every time I come to this place you're out of mild with no cheese.......EVERY TIME not once not twice but EVERY TIME. I was told they don't sell as much of the mild so they don't make as much BUT if you're selling out before 8:30am every Friday why not make more especially if you're open to Noon. It's just soooooooo frustrating and disappointing coming here to be always be told "oh we're out of the mild with no cheese". I am so excited my sweet girl, Ashlynn, found this little bakery. Best Czech Kolaches i have ever had, every bite was amazing. We got half a dozen kolaches, a couple of the meat rolls, and he talked me into one of the large jalapeño sausage rolls. That was a good decision! The fruit kolaches and the creamy style were both really good. The meat rolls are not a light breakfast, there's a lot of morning goodness there. The jalapeño sausage roll was perfect for me!
