Stopped in before and after catching a show at the Improv. The interior is gorgeous with a very tropical vibe. The wallpaper is beautiful and the bar stools are plenty comfortable. We ordered two daiquiris which were both very good. The menu doesn't describe the flavors so ask the bartender for what's in each one. They'll let you sample them also. We decided to try some food also so we ordered the beef and cheese empanadas and a side of truffle fries. Both items were good and large enough to share between two people. The sauce served with the empanadas was really tasty. It a great place to check out for a cold drink or to hang out before a show. We Took our seat and then Dillion began to spin a marvelous tale of all the delicious flavors of Daiquiris they had. Unfortunately, I cannot recall the drinks we had but think FatTuesdays daiquiris, nothing out of this world- you can mix and match flavors and some come with either tequila or rum. On December 7, 2024, I was going next door to Dania Improv for a show, I stopped into 14 North to purchase a bottle of water. Bartender Alyssa served me, I gave her a 20.00 bill, and she gave me back 12.00, I immediately took the 10.00 and left her with the 2.00 in her hand. As I was putting the 10.00 back in my wallet, I casually said to her, " How much was the water?" She replied 6.25, in my head I was like hmmmmn I only got 12.00 back as if the water was 8.00. So I immediately asked her why she only gave me 12.00 back.she was like "Oh you wanted the rest of the change back." WAIT WHAT, of course, I want all my change back. She went to the register and gave me back 1.00 with an attitude. At this point, I was enraged at the audacity and arrogance of Alyssa. I told her to give me my 2.00 tip back, so I said where my .75 cents, her reply was we don't keep change in the drawer. Not my problem, get me a manager. At this point, I was livid it may have only been 1.75 that she tried to steal from me. It was the fact that she was so unbothered about the fact that she just got busted for stealing. I spoke with manager Jess, explained what happened, she blew smoke up my ass like it was not a big deal, then she immediately went to the register and gave me the .75. According to Alyssa, they don't keep change in the drawer, so not only is Alyssa a thief but a liar. I went to the show and tried to enjoy myself, but I was bothered over what happened. I went back over to 14 North, and of course, Jess was conviently not available, so I spoke with another manager, Brandon, and once again that seemed to fly in one ear and out the other So yes, I may only be 1.75, but that fact that Alyssa tried me, if she did it to me she does it to others . I was definitely unsatisfied with the response I got from management, so I will definitely be going to Sunbiz.org and finding out who the management company is of 14 North and letting them know about this. As soon as my friends and I walked in, we loved the aesthetics of the daiquiri bar; it gave me an old school Miami bohemian style. We decided to sit at the bar to grab a quick drink. Our bartender was very friendly, accommodating, and gave us some great suggestions. 14 North Daiquiri allows you to try free samples of all the flavors so you can decide on what flavors you want. I loved their crown apple flavor (which is flavored with Crown Royal Apple liquor), and their red gummy flavor (which taste just like strawberry gummy bear). My friend and I ordered those 2 flavors mixed. Then our other friend order the crown apple and Dania blue (which taste like a soft blue raspberry flavor). The have multiple size cups you can get your daiquiri in; we chose the 14oz size cup which was a good size.
