This place is great when you want something different than ice cream ! They have sherbet, dole whip, Italian ice and more ! I love the flight option because you can try multiple flavors at once. I found this little gem about a year ago. I think I'd driven by it a thousand times before finally stopping but I am so happy we did. My daughter loves how refreshing this Italian Ice is. She would actually prefer to come here than an other spot for a sweet treat. The pineapple dole whip is so light and perfect on a super hot day. The staff is always so nice and you can always sample different flavors until you find the perfect one. With seating inside and out, there's always plenty of space. I loved the 90s design on the store front. The flavor combos are amazing. I tried cotton candy, birthday cake and lemon. This is a perfect treat after a hot day. It's priced well too! The young ladies were polite and helpful. I know it was wasn't easy with my crowd of 6 teens who didn't know what to get. Not to mention it was late. Still they couldn't have been more nice. An interesting place. It's located right next to a gas station, and it's hard to spot from the road. They specialize in Italian ice, so it makes them kind of unique. It also has ice cream. They can make a swirl. I had the cotton candy Italian ice. It's about $3 for the medium. This didn't look like all that much but it was. It was so dense it was hard to finish. They pack a lot into it. It tasted much better than the stuff you can buy in a grocery store, and it probably isn't filled with chemicals. They also have regular ice cream, which can be swirled with an Italian ice. It may be next to a gas station but it's good. It's located up the road from King's Island. This is certainly cheaper than any ice cream you can get there. read more

I love tasty & refreshing Italian Ice. In fact I prefer it over ice cream. I was looking for a nearby Italian Ice place in the greater Cincy area on Yelp and ran across recently opened 12 Degrees Italian Ice in Maineville. It's only a short 5 mile drive from where I live in Warren County. The location is convenient and easy to get in and out of. The inside was very clean and the service was good. We were able to try several flavors before ordering. I settled on a combo of lemon and cotton candy. My friend had orange and lemon. The color changing spoons are fun. Will be going back again soon. read more

I want to give 12 Degrees a shout out for the fantastic curbside service they are giving right now! Just text your name, order, vehicle make and pick up time and they will bring your order out to your car. You pay with a credit card curbside also. When I pulled up in front of the store I was about to text them that we arrived and they were already to the car with our order! Great service and amazing Italian Ice, as always. Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chocolate Chip are still our favorites but they have been adding some interesting new flavors that I want to try. Our family is dairy free. There are lots of ice cream places in the area that say they have dairy free options and when you get there they say Woopsie we just don't have them available today. This place is terrific. They have dairy free pineapple dole whip every day and then they have a second dairy free flavor that they change out on Mondays. Today it was lime and on Monday it will change to mango. They also have all of their Italian ices that are dairy free. They also have cream Italian ices that of course are not dairy free but there's so much to pick from. They have a really nice and clean big seating area inside, with a couple of couches and lots of tables. The service was fast and friendly. We will definitely be back read more

This place was great!! The ambiance could use a little spicing up and location isn't phenomenal. However, the gelati is amazing. The Italian ice is creamy and paired with soft serve makes for an incredible frozen dessert. Plus, the fact they use natural food sources makes it even better. Consistency is somewhere between frozen yogurt and a slushy- more icy than most gelato I've had, but that's probably because most of the flavors are dairy free (unless it specifies there is cream). Every flavor I tried was amazing (peanut butter- very rich, but very good in moderation, cookies and cream- GREAT, root beer, cotton candy, strawberry kiwi, cherry, chocolate chocolate chip). I would recommend getting two flavors in the small gelati size, and that is probably big enough to share or to save some for later. Wish they were open year round! read more

It's pretty good but I don't like how they don't wear gloves it's really unsanitary and i feel with covid-19 it should be a must that they wear gloves. Another thing that made my first experience not so great it when I first got In there it was super quiet and the 2 girls working at the time did not seem like they wanted to be there and they both had an attitude. My husband and I took our boys there tonight and had a wonderful experience! The owners are so friendly and explained all of the options with flavors and so forth right away. They hand make all of the Italian Ice, which is so unique and delicious! We were expecting more of a snow cone experience, but this is NOT that- it's kind of a mix of ice and ice cream if that makes any sense. We got Peanut Butter Cream and it was awesome. We're excited to go back and try their fruit flavors in the summer when it warms up. They also had "magic" spoons that turned blue with the cold and white again with heat- my boys were really impressed to say the least. The best Italian Ice I've ever tasted! No, it's not a snow cone, it's not shaved ice....it's Italian Ice. They have a large assortment of flavors but my favorite is 1/2 Chocolate Chocolate Chip and 1/2 Peanut Butter Cream. Much cheaper than UDF ice cream. I'm so glad it's only a couple of miles from my house. I hardly made it through the winter without it (they close in the winter to have a life. ;)) They also have soft serve ice cream but I'm telling you.....do the Italian Ice! Owners could not be nicer people. read more
