Food was ok? I ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich and it came out cold and the bun was cold and stale, not toasted. I tried bites of everyone's food and wasn't terribly impressed with anything. Pistachio martini was amazing though! And service was good and friendly. read more

The staff here are exceptional! They are attentive, professional and very hard workers! Ben the manager is fantastic at keeping the staff calm and runs the restaurant like a well oiled machine! Deb and Aylah are absolutely the best bartenders around! They are patient, kind and always aware of what their diners need or what they may be ready for next. Deb is very knowledgeable about the menu and has tried everything, got my husband to try salmon and he never eats seafood! He enjoyed it, but steak is still his favorite! Ryan is a hard worker with a big heart, goes out of his way to wait on his diners and always jumping in to help out his coworkers wether it be with making their drinks or helping out anyway he possibly can. It was a busy night on this hot Friday evening and some diners may have left this evening not very happy with their experience, however, maybe if they had a bit of patience and looked around, they would have realized they were not the only ones dining out this evening and maybe, just maybe, they could have relaxed, take a drink or 2, enjoyed the atmosphere, the people around them and be willing to wait an extra 5 or 10 minutes for ketchup for their burger or even help the busy staff out by reminding the servers nicely, could I have some ketchup please? Realizing these people are people too and are busting their butts to provide you with a relaxing dining experience. They are doing their best in a very busy environment with many diners. I think you can wait a few minutes for ketchup remind them nicely without having a tantrum because you waited a few extra minutes. And ou'...Amy is great! She has been doing this a long time! She is friendly, professional and amazing at what she does! She goes out of her way to make patrons feel welcome and helps her coworkers to work their tables! The kitchen staff, while I do not know any of them, I imagine they work their tails off just like everyone else! The GM should be proud of the staff they have working here and how they kindly deal with all the personalities of the patrons that dine at this establishment, the great, the good, the bad, and the terrible. The food was delicious, the restaurant itself was spacious, quiet and relaxing, but the SERVICE was INCREDIBLE! I absolutely adored our waitress. I never caught her name, maybe if she sees this she'll know (it was my birthday and I asked for A1 sauce for my fries). She was so kind, efficient, and really made our experience great- extra shout out to her! Steak was delicious, ACTUALLY medium rare, and the Brussels sprouts were amazing. This would've been a five star review if it wasn't for the terrible dessert. That of course we got to go. So we didn't know how bad they were until we were long gone. Don't get them. We were sat by a nice host at a nice booth infront of the open concept "scratch" kitchen. We started with a salad, it was ok but not worth the 12$ it cost, what a profit margin they have with salads. I got the hot honey chicken. The breast was brined in pickle juice and tossed in a Cajun flour before being fried. It was out of this world delicious. Pictures below of course. My finance got the Cuban sandwich, also delicious. The French fries weren't great, they looked like McDonald's and tasted like burger kings. They posted signs on the door so that customers are aware*** Around 11:45 on a Sunday, my husband & I were some of a few patrons. It got busier after 12pm. We were seated at a high booth near the bar where we could see customers entering & exiting. The food is pricey, but very good. The only letdown was that my meal of prosciutto-wrapped cod with risotto & broccoli was cold. It was as though the risotto & broccoli were put on the plate too early, then the fish was placed on top. I didn't say anything, though I probably should have. It tasted amazing! My husband loved the "Cure" burger. It is served with an egg on top & a side of demi-glace on the side. The sweet potato fries are AWESOME. Our server was very nice & she was consistently clearing dishes or straw wrappers off of our table. She even said it's a 'pet peeve' of hers when there is clutter on the table & that she wanted to make sure we weren't surrounded in dirty dishes or trash. She was so funny & we appreciated her for taking such good care of us. Per my previous review in 2018, I still say this place is on the pricier side... When I walked in I was immediately impressed with how sweet the hostess team was. They got my mom and I seated and taken care of with a dessert menu right away. Loved to see them smiling and loving their work environment, it really makes the energy of this darker restaurant vibrant. Server Adrian was perfect too. The coffee we ordered wasn't brewed yet and so he made sure to let my mom and I know and apologized for the wait. The dessert was so yummy. For $10 it's perfect split for 2. It was warm and filling. Another great recommendation from the New England Gluten free forum! It is so inviting to be able to sit down at a restaurant that makes those with food allergies feel welcome! They have a whole menu that is dedicated GF and they have vegan options. Our waitress was amazing, first thing she noticed was our menus. She then asked if there were any other allergies she needed to be aware of. She was fourth coming with recommendations. A manager bring our food to the table to guarantee no cross contamination. We tried a few appetizers and then being GF we both absolutely had to have the fish and chips! All of the food was delicious. The fried items all had amazing crunch and texture. Dipping sauces were spot on for the items they were paired with! Will definitely travel back. Maine would love to have a restaurant like this (hint hint) read more

This place is good for what it is, but nothing spectacular. Ended up ordering more things than I wanted because I honestly didn't care for anything that was served aside from the shrimp appetizer. I will say at the top though that the service and concern for dietary restrictions is too notch. All servers and staff were very friendly and professional. And they do not take allergies lightly, I was asked like 3 times if I had an allergy to gluten and it's also written largely on the menu. Everyone RAVED about the seasonal squash soup, but I honestly didn't care for it. However, objectively I can say it's a great soup, it for me because I don't care for squash soup in general, but if you like it then you'll love it from here. However, aside from the firecracker shrimp, there wasn't a whole lot else that was worth the price charged. My husband ordered the gnocchi Bolognese. He loved it, but I can't stand when gnocchi is made with dough and not potatoes. But if you don't care, then this is your place I initially ordered the pulled pork Mac and cheese, which was bland pretty much all around. What they give you is nothing like what their pictures depict and the pork seems to be cooked like a regular roast and put on top of the Mac and cheese, not treated and cooked like you would expect it to come from an actual BBQ restaurant. And I know people will say "BuT tHiS iSn'T a BbQ pLaCe So StOp CoMpLaInInG" And my response is, if you're not going to do it correctly then don't put it on the menu. I ordered a replacement or the steak chimichuri with fries. The steak was merely adequate, nothing special. The fries were seasoned but cold so I didn't even bother. The chimichuri is not chimichuri. Came for a birthday dinner with a large group. Decklan was our server, he was absolutely fabulous. Super, sweet and attentive. Drinks were super tasty. I had the Pearberry. I don't really like tequila but this was great. Had the fried pickles, boom boom cauliflower and spinach dip for apps. Had the mushroom ravioli for dinner myself but all the dinners were great. This is a regular for us because of its Gluten Free options. So far I have liked everything I have had here. The Hot Honey Chicken sandwich is good; your fingers will get sticky, so plan ahead or ask for extra napkins. Service normally excellent though we were told staffing shortages , yet we saw several waitresses chatting rather than helping out the others. Would have rated higher but all three times they have been out of the micro brew I chose. Keep your menu updated guys. Reservations are recommended! I went with a friend on a Friday at lunch having made a reservation out of ordinary habit, and there was a line to be seated by the time we left! There was a steady flow of customers our entire visit. (Keep in mind they are following Covid spacial seating restrictions.) The service, from the host to the server (Amanda), to the head chef was all very satisfactory. My "Kale Brussels Salad" had one sliver of raw brussel sprout in it - I was expecting roasted/caramelized brussel sprouts with chunks of goat cheese, etc. Instead, this was very much like those pre-packaged salad mixes you get at the grocery store. We have had drinks and dinner at the Rochester location quite a few times. Mostly hit or miss with service and food. Went last night and will not be returning. Ordered cocktails, one came out fine but the Margherita came out in a short glass filled to top with ice, so a few sips later it was gone. So, I ordered a second drink and asked that they not fill the drink with so much ice. Waitress returned with short glass again but half full. Waitress apologized and said, "This is what bartender gave me. We returned the drink. Later I caught the attention of the manager, explained what happened, and she had no problem with it.
