Celebrating Father's Day with family and friends. We all had a great meals along with a lot of fun and laughter. Food and service did not disappoint. Father day menu was limited but we were grateful that they were also serving from the bunch and regular menu. Great portion on the fried pickles , the burgers were huge as well as their bbq fried chicken sandwich. The father day special of the skinny dad bod was still enough for 2 meals. Glad they ate close to home as we do love their food and switch up of their menu from Time to time

We found this farm to table restaurant and boy was it delicious!! The service was excellent, we went at peak hours and the restaurant was full. Took over an hour for a group of 6 food, but again they were busy and we were in no hurry. We were sat at larger tables in a room alone, this gave us a more comfortable & private dining experience. Try anything from the menu, especially the poutine (not pictured, sorry)!

This is a surprisingly good find as we were traveling from New Hampshire to Massachusetts. First, the decor. The interior is very warm and inviting. Reminds me of a cross between a Texas Roadhouse, a smokehouse, a cozy barn, and a farm. The service is attentive but not overly doting. The menu is expansive and portion sizes are generous, but the quality is what's compelling here. I like all of their smokehouse offerings including the slowly-braised short ribs (with mashed and broccoli), the pulled pork, the Mac n cheese with any number of accompaniments, the burger choices are fabulous, the loaded nachos with anything and everything, the Poutine (a Canadian specialty that you can't find just anywhere), their custom pizzas, and several salads (we had an arugula salad with salmon that was grilled to perfection). The beef chili is about the best I've enjoyed in a while, and very worth ordering as a starter or the large bowl as a main course. The Bloody Mary is topped with everything but the kitchen sink. The deserts are worth staying around for, although doubt you'll have enough room, so take the home!

    Best Bloody Marys.

My wife and I went there Saturday morning. It was wonddful an Kasey the bartender was what made it so much fun. Going back this Saturday again to start the weekend right.

Thought I'd check in here as it's been a while and...bummer. Our waitress was awesome and the scene is great but the food was meh. The brisket was drowning in what tasted like grocery store BBQ sauce, you couldn't taste the meat. Chicken sandwich was huge and pretty good. Good bacon that's an add on. I might get take out here sometime but that's about it. I don't drink but I bet the bar is fun on a weekend.

Great stop for some down-home, meat and potatoes type cooking. Dining outdoors under the tent is always a great experience in the summer, and the service is friendly and attentive. The space has a southern BBQ kind of feel to it and is lively and ideal for a larger group. Inside has your typical barbecue, bar, & grill type. feel to it if you prefer dining indoors. We really enjoyed the brisket, the steak tips, the lobster rolls, fried, asparagus, and the meatloaf. The portions come in two sizes, Gardiner is smaller, and farmer is larger. The larger portions can easily be shared by a couple. The meats are flavorful, wonderful sauces, and the sides complemented the main courses very well. Expect to bring home leftovers, but don't worry they reheat wonderfully.

They were potato shells, with American cheese melted on top with a strip of bacon... they tasted freezer burnt. As I said, no fryer so everything came with ridge chips. They were very good. For main meals we got 2 chili dogs. The chili on the dogs was pretty good, but I knew what it would do to me later. The grilled buns and dogs were just fine, the service was great! The decor is definitely poor people's pub style. So it all depends on what you are looking for. Cheap, frozen to table food, that's more economical? Then they're the place you'd like to hit up! If you're looking for a bit more then I'd suggest going elsewhere. They are handicapped accessible and they have a large private parking lot. This is definitely a dive bar where locals come regularly. The food was okay nothing special but did the job. The turkey BLT with cranberry mayo was missing the mayo. It could have had more lettuce and bacon. We also got the chicken bites and fries which are an appetizer, these have seen better days. I do have to say the hobo special which is a Reuben sandwich was outstanding! That is one thing they have going for them. It's not somewhere I would go out of the way to eat at but if you are passing thru it's not terrible especially because passing thru there are not many places to stop at.

They asked if we had reservations and we said no. The hostess had 2 hightops available and we said yes. She then informed us that tonight was a set 3 course menu. We glanced it over and said ok. I ordered a Cesar, Prime Rib and 2 sides. I got creamed spinach and mash potato. My friend ordered the Eggplant Parm. She got a salad with hers but no sides were offered with the set menu . The waitress came back and told me the Prime Rib was sold out/spoken for so I had to make another choice. I chose Chicken Saltimbocca with the same sides. Cesar was good, nothing special could have used more dressing as it was light.....def not a classic homemade dressing. Meals arrived 15 minutes later just as we were finishing our salads. Mine was definitely not Chicken Saltimbocca! It was just Chicken breast with HAM! and Holindaise sauce ontop. There were a few slices of spicy ham ontop also but.....not.what the dish is supposed to be. Crazy what you get up in these backwoods places. My friends Eggplant parm was served with ricotta cheese! That also was a first. Chef had to be putting his/her on flair on CLASSIC dishes but mucked it up bad. We had to eat it because it was NYE and we were hungry and an hour from home. One star for warm fireplace and one star for desserts....peanut butter pie and my brownie was a 10 out of 10. Chef needs a tune up and make a round turn with menu items. Then they only ordered enough Prime Rib for reservations only!?!?!?! Sorry or the rant......they won't see me again.

Finally, now that the 'newness' wore off, 4 of us were able to grab a table with ease. There was live music & they post on their Facebook page regularly with updates on food & cocktail specials. We decided on appetizers: nachos w/ chicken, mozzarella sticks & potato skins. The nachos were really good - I liked the chips they used. The mozzarella sticks were a bit underwhelming, similar to frozen ones I've purchased at BJs. The potato skins tasted like they were made in-house. ABOVE & BEYOND MOMENT: Our server, Jackie, was friendly & patient with our requests. I had asked if they could make a spicy margarita. She asked the bartender & they were out of their jalapeno tequila so they asked if it was okay to muddle fresh jalapenos instead. I said I trusted the bartender to do what they thought best. When my margarita was delivered, the Jackie asked if I wouldn't mind tasting it to make sure it wasn't too spicy. I think the fact they custom made the drink & ensured it was to my liking was great. I see mixed reviews about the prices. I honestly found that appetizers averaging about $15 was on the high side. We'd like to go back for dinner, maybe when there isn't live music.
