Didn't get her name, but she was definitely talking shit about me and I think intentionally cut my big toenail wrongly and made me bleed and blister. Now it will grow in an ingrown toenail or get infected. I love this place and I come here once a month. Need to get her i name so I can make sure to not get her as a service in the future. read more

Hit or miss. Had a good first experience with pedicure. Price reasonable and service was a bit quick. Second experience not so good. I ordered the upgraded pedicure with callus removal but she didn't use the tool. She only brushed it lightly with the yellow scrub and that was not callous removal. But when I asked she said "she already did". Very unprofessional to not admit she didn't do what I paid for. There were still so many dead skin after the service. read more

It's been a week and 1 day since I went in for a dip for my nails. This is the 3rd time I have been in this establishment with no prior issues. This time, however, the older gentleman who did my nails did such a bad job. Not only did it take longer than usual, I could see that the tips of the nails barely had any powder on them. Because I was leaving on a trip right after, I didn't have time to tell him and figured they'd hold up! I was wrong. After the first day, they started slowly chipping away. I found them on Yelp and made an appointment for a gel manicure. I think there were about 5 nail techs or so, but even upon arriving it was about 10-15 minutes later before I was able to sit down with a nail tech. My nail tech had a really hard time drawing the design that I wanted. She had to ask two other people to help, which the 2nd person finally did it but it still didn't come out the way I wanted. But at least they tried. When I called to book the appointment I could've sworn the guy said that it was $25 for a gel manicure. However, I walked away paying $40 for the whole thing which is way more than I would ever want to pay for a gel manicure. read more

I have tried Epic twice now. The first time was earlier this year, and I didn't love them, but I was trying a hard design so I thought maybe that's why. Well I went back cause I broke a nail and my normal place was too far to get to before they closed. First and foremost don't let them fool you on the CBD pedicure. All Volcano packs say CBD on them and the ones they use are just the collagen packs so don't let them get you for the extra 20$. My nails turned out below average. The guy doing them didn't shape them well and went way shorter then I wanted and then didn't even put gel on the end of my nail. read more

I have gotten pedicures here and was satisfied. I decided to get acrylic nails and I absolutely hate them. They are too thick. All the nails are shaped differently. They have bumps in them where they didn't file them down correctly. I did call and let them know. They told me to come back the next day, but who has another hour waste. On a Monday I made an appointment for 2 pedicures for Thursday at 4:30 pm. That's 4 days in advance. At 4:30 they had me check in, didn't even offer me to pick a color. This is my first visit to this place as I just moved to the area. At 4:50 without any one helping (other than checking in) we got up and left. One of the workers came out and said that they were ready for us. I asked "how long?" He said "10 minutes" (which would make it 5 pm). I said "our appointment was at 4:30, that's half an hour!" He said it's because of the walk-ins they ran late. Not fair. They need to prioritize time management and not accept every walk in that comes in the door. The people with appointment should be taken care of FIRST. Never coming back here. read more

I'm torn between 2.5 stars and three.. this place is small and clean. The prices aren't bad but the only thing that gets me is.. the older couple who owns this nail salons are the only ones that knows how to do anything it seems like from dip or doing anything fancy with the nails.. so they are constantly changing spots with their employees to start something and then they switch back out.. I kinda feel like most of the nail techs if not all of them should know how to do most of that stuff no?? read more

I am updating my review based on having to wait for a ridiculous amount of time thr last 2 times I have been here. If you can't help me for a half hour or more, than be honest and say so. Don't leave people soaking in water baths for 40 min. It is a waste of my time and I will now not return. read more

I love getting acrylic French tips and these were my favorite I've ever gotten. I was there with friends so I didn't even give my usual preferences, only length I was looking for. The nail tech shaped it so elegantly I felt super fancy! The Pedicure was good and had nice colors. I wish they would have filed the nails on the side because it grew out a bit painful, but other than that was a great overall experience. We called ahead, made an appointment, and got to enjoy the whole place to ourselves. I recommend calling ahead. It's a relatively small salon in a rather empty strip mall. Interior decor is classy and traditional. Not as easy to sit next to a friend there for manicures as the tables are on opposite sides. Pedicures are seated next to each other so easier to go together. Very friendly and professional service. read more

I dont have fake nails so I cannot rate the nail services. For pedicures, this is the best place in town! I have yet to find anyone that does better or even equal. The price is more than reasonable and has never increased once in the 6 years I have been going there. They actually use skin softners in the water, lotions and scrape well to remove dead skin and calluses. Leg massage, massaging chair, hot wax treatment and nail polish colors galore, gel or regular polish. Be respectful, tip well, every employee there works hard. read more

I have been to this Salon twice. The place is very well decorated with columns and a water feature. The music is very relaxing and the employees are friendly and helpful. I got acrylic nails done the first time and they lasted without chipping four weeks. I will post a photo below. This time the lady recommended that I get powder nails done for my French manicure. Got my nails done here today with a friend and had a great time. As I walked in I was calmed by the beautiful smell of green tea and jazmine. We had an appointment, but had to just wait a couple of minutes while they set up and were nicely told to sit. We were handed menus and my friend recommended their deluxe package which comes with a callus removal, massage with lotion, leg and foot scrub, hot towels and stones, and of course a painting. I hadn't had my feet done in forever, so my feet were in need of a lot of TLC! I told the woman doing my feet this and apologized profusely. This did not seem to bother her one bit as she asked me to pick out a toenail color. She told me to simply relax and forget about everything. I was able to do this while chatting with my friend. The entire process was so relaxing and I felt like a queen for an hour. The package was a little pricey at $45, but it was worth it for the great customer service, the relaxing experience, and the way my feet look! I only get this done a couple of times a year, so it was so worth the price!! read more

Very disappointed with my experience! I faithfully get my nails done every 2-3 weeks. My nails look like $3 press ons and I have several cuts and burns. If they are busy....go somewhere else. Technician rushed and was very aggressive. I'm sure there is a reason they have high ratings, I'm just not sure what it is! read more

Love this place! It's close to my house so it's the easiest place to go to and they do a fantastic job. I haven't gone since COVID first happened but they did well and adhere to the regulations well. There was miscommunication on the phone and thought I was getting a manicure instead of a full-set but were still able to accommodate me and get my appointment in which I appreciate so so much. I drive out of my way to go here for mani pedi time TUTU is my Mani pedi lady she cares about her clients and does an amazing she's been here through a change of ownership and staff bless her with great tips if you get her she's very deserving of it it's 25 min out of my way and I pass many salons to come here the place is decorated beautiful inside and the prices are competitive they have a few other services as well eyebrows etc get hooked you won't be sorry ! This is the first review I've ever left. I've been in the service industry over 15 years and like to think I am more understanding than some. I have been here many times for pedicures but usually don't get manicures. Long story, but I think it's worth to post about the details. I received the worst manicure of my life here.... And then proceeded to receive the second worst manicure after I asked for them to redo it. Originally I wanted black French tips, showed the nail tech a picture and asked if gel, dip or tips would be best? She said dip was good since I had good nail length and would save me money so we went with that. When I realized that she was almost finished I asked if she could clean up the lines because they looked uneven & horrible, she just continued to file my nails down extremely short to try and make the "french tips" look shorter. I wish I had taken a picture of the finished result but it looked so awful that when I looked up at her she nervously laughed and said "dip is hard to do for french". I said well that is why I asked you what you thought was best, I'm sorry, I feel awful but I'm not paying for this. Without hesitation she stated she understood and began to remove my nails- I think because she knew they looked horrible! She finished taking them off and said ok can you come back in an hour? I'm too busy now... I said ok well can someone else do them? So then the gentleman (who I believe is also an owner) decided to redo them. I said we can just make this easy and do black dip since the French style was a mess. When he "finished" he stood up and went to the register for me to pay. Didn't bother cleaning up my nails or anything, literally just slapped some color on them and charged me full price. Showing how much he cares about the service he just provided. I had already been there for 3.5 hours and I am not one to complain so I decided to let it be, pay and leave. I know it's a long response. But I figure it could save someone $40 and hours of their time before making the mistake to go there. Unfortunately, I liked their pedicures but due to the lack of respect for people who are paying for their services, I will not be going back. read more

Started going to this place last month. I hadn't had acrylic nails in over 10 years and decided to try them again at this place by my house. Boy, am I glad I did! My full set came out beautiful, and the Tech, Gene, was great. I really did not think I could have had a better experience, BUT I did yesterday when I went to get my 1st fill. I did not get this Tech's name, but he sits right by the front door. He really did a most excellent job on my nails. I didn't know that no one really does backfills anymore, and he guided me to the fill with French Gel Manicure. Amazing and all done within less than an hour! I'm from California and it's taken me 3 years that I've been here to find a nail tech and salon that do a good as job as I've had done in California. Well today after having had a beautiful, natural looking set done by Lynn, I must say I found the place to come have my nails done at on a regular. Not only is the place beautiful inside but the service and people are so welcoming and nice. I'm very happy I found a new nail tech and place to come to that I'm happy with. This was my first time visiting Epic nails and I have to say I was very impressed. I brought my 2 daughters with me and we had pedicures and gel polishes. All 3 of our nail technicians did an outstanding job. The decor of the salon is beautiful, with stone accents along the walls, a life-like mural of a blue sky on the ceiling, all creating a very relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be back. This is the best nail place I have found in a long time! I had such a bad nail job from somewhere else and Tony fixed it meticulously. The atmosphere is so tranquil and I had an amazing pedicure. The staff is super friendly and I loved the chair. I actually walked away sore since it worked over all of my tense muscles. Best nail salon in phoenix! My daughter brought me here to get a full set of nails and a pedicure before I left for my Jamaican vacation. They did such a quality job that the whole time I was gone not one nail came off! I was gone 2 1/2 weeks! Usually when I get my nails done they chip and fall off. I came back again to get my nails filled before heading back home and I wish they were in tucson! read more

I love them so much! They did a wonderful job on my nails. I got my nails done somewhere else previously and a nail broke and my nails started lifting up, so my nail tech, Tony, took them off for me and did a fantastic job @ shaping them and making sure i loved them. They pay attention to detail and they know exactly what they're doing. Very friendly as well and the Salon is BEAUTIFUL! read more

It could be a miscommunication or cultural thing, but I definitely feel like they went out of their way to make me feel uncomfortable. The first time I attended this salon number 11 did my nails she was super efficient. I did have a few broken nails because I had just moved from my apartment and she repaired those no issue. Now one of the nails she repaired. I came back to the salon a week later because that nail had broken. They then told me that they were going to charge me five dollars because my previous set was on for a long time. I understood my last nail tech never had an issue with this and I've never had to get a full set after two fills. It's just my nails grow really fast. No big deal I paid for the repair. I come back for a regular fill and this time the guy at the first desk does my nails and at the second fill my nail had broken again the one that number 11 had originally repaired. To remind you none of my nails that were broken. We're done by the nail tech that I originally went to the nails that they were fixing were nails that they had repaired when I had went and got my fill. He does my nails a week later that same nail breaks again I come in to get a repair and they're like clearly talking about me and then I say at the table next to where the girl number 11 did my nails and the guy is handling my hands, roughly being super passive aggressive saying oh you need to fill. It's been too long your nail keeps breaking. Mind you this is the nail they fixed none of the nails that my OG tech did outside of when it broke when I was moving has broken. So they're complaining about it being my Phil has been on too long and that's why my nails keep breaking, but the nail that keeps breaking is the nail that they originally repaired. So it was just like really uncomfortable. They were super passive aggressive. I really wanted to like this place because it's right next to my house. But after this last time and having the last guy be so rough with my hands, I probably wouldn't come back.

"Oh, you don't like your nails again?" Actually no, because this is the second time in a row, I didn't get the design I wanted. My nail tech, Hanna, actually noticed that the color I initially picked might not be one I'd love. She took the time to show me, confirm with me, and help me choose a color that suited me much better. That level of care made a huge difference. I wanted something very sheer and light, so he brought a few colors to look at and I decided on light color cat eye. He let me know the cat eye was extra, and I love the transparency here. He did a wonderful job on my nails, everyone was very friendly, and at the end I received a coupon for next visit and a bottle of cuticle oil. I don't get my nails done very often, but I would absolutely return here.
