I was able to find Mark on Yelp. Even though it was late on Labor Day he replied right away with a quote. I was already impressed. I called his assistant the next morning. She was very polite and profess. She made the appointment for that day. He personally came out on a hot day and was able to get it done for the quoted price. Very happy and would definitely recommend or use again.

I was told a price. I never saw a total, just sign here, then when I see the handwritten receipt,…read more I knew my mistake on that, that was my fault. the guy is a good salesman, though. But, 2 charges he never mentioned were added on. watch these guys., They will lie to you. I was told these were locksmiths who worked for the company. they are not. they are subcontractors. (after thinking on this for a week) Anyone with a reader can do this. and he was on the phone a lot while here. It might have been an actual locksmith or a support of some kind on the phone with him. Now Im researching how to change the code on the car remote. maybe car too. garage opener by Bluetooth removed. I dont trust this. partially because I worked as a shop locksmith (think support that never left the shop, cutting keys, making appointments, etc.) after thinking about it, something is off) The guy was good till he lied and charged me for things the guy on the ophone or locksmith that showed up never mentioned. Several were in the same price area if the others were honest. THESE GUYS ARE NOT ! They were going to get another job from me but not now. not sure why he needed my DL#. nothing on paper anywhere. Now i have to worry about that too the guy that showed up had the initials of J. R. , very young. Im going to call another locksmith and see if they need my ID if not I have the guys plate.

My wife paid their fee, as they said that they would come out the next day. The next day they showed up and did not have the correct key. My wife, believing that they were reputable paid their invoice of $699. I decided to call the Honda dealer and asked them what they would charge for the same service. I was blown away when they said about $200! I immediately contacted Locksmith Express and asked for a refund, less their $29 service call fee. It took me weeks before i received any refund, and even then, they charged me a "key programming fee", which they said they had paid $69 for, yet their invoice was charging me $387! That's quite a mark-up. I would stay away from this company!

Brought a ignition blank in over a year ago for a 1980's era car. The guy did a great job and knew…read moreexactly where the other key maker had messed up. Outstanding! No problems and worked how it should in all locks on the car. Brought in the exact same blank bought from the exact same supplier bought at the exact same time and this go round it was messed up beyond all measure. A complete and total screw up. The keys look no where near the same and didn't work. Obvious from a mile away. Returned the next day and first thing out of their mouths were "We cannot guarantee keys bought from somewhere else will work and these keys are different." I assure you they are not they were exactly the same. I have a masters in sculpting and bachelors in painting and drawing. I know how to look at objects and manipulate them in space. And when they couldn't get them to work I was told, "You need to change all your locks and ignition switch replaced because it's an old car. And that's going to be expensive if you can find someone to do it'." I guess they thought I am some sort of idiot. Because the first part f this review paints a much different level of responsibility and craft. I did receive my $3 it cost to have the keys made out of the pocket of the original man who made the key and not from the guy throwing smoke in may face with the above comments. And I am out $20 for the cost of the car branded blank. And to add to that I brought in a small lock core to be keyed and was given back a super slender key and told this might break off and guess what? It did and it's still stuck in the lock. Seventeen more dollars of bad key making. They asked what they could do for me and they offered a new non-branded blank but at that point and I was so pissed I just left because I needed to vacate that train wreck. Sometimes it's best to walk away fast and definitely never return . . . ever.
