Stopped by on our way to Cali to try out the local boba scene. I got the Assam Black milk tea and it's a solid standard milk tea. Doesn't taste artificial or heavy with gross half and half. It was noon and their boba wasn't done being made so they recommended their crystal boba instead. I've had this kind of boba before and though I was a little disappointed that it was an hour into opening and they still didn't have boba ready, I was happy to have the crystal boba as a replacement. I really like the crunchy texture it has. So fun to chew! Bf got the passion fruit green tea and he says it's "meh." He does like the crystal boba too, though! Overall pleased with the milk tea. I purchased a large strawberry-raspberry tea and added passion fruit dolphin boba (dolphin- what!? So cute). The tea was fantastic. It had bits of real fruit. I got it sweetened 25% and it was just right. They have so many different flavors, toppings, etc. If it's your first time and are overwhelmed/don't know how to order, just tell the server what you like and they can suggest something I'm sure you will enjoy. Came in today for the first time in awhile. When we ordered, the cashier kept pushing us to upsize to a large when we clearly wanted regulars. Also he started us a stamp card without asking first & repeatedly told us to follow the store on Instagram. Overall the tea is alright but recent my experience is what made me lower my rating. However, he offered to remake the whole thing when I asked for it sweeter. So overall this place isn't too bad. read more

Review #221 - 2018 I was super excited to see a new milk tea spot that had a high rating in Reno so of course I had to make my way over and give it a try. We showed up around 12:45 PM on Wednesday, July 25th, and the place was empty. I guess it was still early so no one was in the mood for milk tea. We placed our orders and got our drinks about 15 minutes later. The place is very nice and clean. The set up was super cute and comfy. Unfortunately, the drinks didn't live up to our expectations. My green tea was just ok. My son's and niece's matcha milk tea tasted off. I couldn't describe exactly what was off, but my son actually complained about his drink and he never does--so I had to try it to see what was wrong with it. One of my nephew had the Oreo shake and he said it was good enough. My other nephew had a passion fruit green tea and he said it was just ok. Service was very friendly, but I really hope that they'll adjust the drink flavors so we can keep coming back in the future. 1,2,Tea... The punny name is really all you need to know you're walking into a good time! The measure of a good boba shop seems to be the length of the menu. I kind of joke here, but the die hard fans seem to be after an experience that lets them try something totally different every time they visit. So it seems the best shops have menus that nearly cover the walls, offering a huge array of flavors, toppings, and preparations that create an almost unlimited number of combinations! 1,2 Tea delivers on all accounts for those fans, but I'm a simpleton, and easily consumed by paralysis by analysis. I asked the gentleman at the counter for a recommendation on a tea with boba, and he suggested the passionfruit flavor. I was pleasantly surprised to see real passionfruit seeds in the cup when the drink arrived and the flavor wasn't overly sweet either, which is one of my biggest complaints in these beverages. The boba seemed smaller than I anticipated, and some of them lacked the gummy texture I really enjoy. Aside from the boba, I noticed they had a few snacks on the menu too, like fries, chicken strips and butterfly shrimp. All of the snacks sounded fried, and there actually was fryer aroma in the air that I didn't love. Otherwise, this shop is top notch. The playlist was rocking. The selection of board games quite cool. The AC was cranking and the space is big, bright and white too! A great place to settle in for a work sesh or grab a snack. The minor flaws are easily covered up by the genuine regard the staff has for their customers and the efficient service too. I watched the two man team greet each guest, prepare drinks, and make sure everyone was happy. They literally never missed a beat and hit every service high point imaginable in a place like this, right down to thanking first time visitors and handing out loyalty cards to let everyone know they're appreciated. Now, if only I could find a boba shop that's touting the quality of their tea and serving up drinks made with fresh fruit and natural flavors. Does such a place exist? I was having a hard time deciding on what I wanted to drink, a nice guy behind the counter let me try a milk tea that he just made for someone else...I cant remember the name but it was pretty good, and I was told if I didn't like something they would re-make what ever I wanted. I went with the rose tea...I did not like it...very earthy. So like they promised they re-made me another one, I went with the Jasmine Green Tea with Boba, it was ok. While the boba was cooked perfectly and didn't stick together at all, the slush could have been a lot smoother, as there were some small chunks of ice. I also feel like the lychee overpowered the Rose flavor, and made the drink taste fake, not like fresh fruit. Best milk tea in town! I have been here on several occasions and it is fantastic. Reno has been needing a place like this. Not only does this place have a cute name, it looks cute too! It looks modern, with that wood and green floral look. You can tell they opened the business on a low budget from the cheap (i.e. light weight) but cute tables and chairs, the menu (sharpie and construction white paper), and the trash cans (standard plastic trash can you'd find in a kitchen) but none of that matters because their product is so good. They offer one size of their milk teas (wish there were two) and plenty of flavors. And the price is definitely fair- $3.50! My favorites are the Roasted Oolang and the Rose. I have ordered the oolang and the tea was over-brewed so it was bitter. Otherwise, all the other times the tea has been great. I prefer their crystal boba over the regular boba because their boba is a bit too dry in the center but overall not bad. Easily one of the better bobas in town. (If you want truly amazing boba, you will have to got SF or Taiwan). Their milk teas are the best in town because the tea flavors come through bold and smooth and the tea itself is not too sweet. They also offer smoothies and food. I haven't tried any of their food, but i did try their Lychee smoothie and it was fantastic! The lychee flavor was nice and sweet. Plus it had little lychee bites which added a pleasant texture to the drink. They do punch cards here. They will give you a stamp PER DRINK, and not per visit, which I am a huge fan of. After 10 stamps, you get one free drink. Also, the staff is pleasant and helpful. Overall, this place is great to visit with literally anyone and is the only place I go to in Reno for milk tea. read more

Located in a shopping center right near Reno High School and The Godfather's pizza. They offer a variety of milk teas and smoothies with a variety of other toppings such as boba. In addition, they offer some tasty snack options. As for the drinks, I ordered the jasmine green milk tea. For once, you could actually taste the tea and it wasn't powdered like other places in town. Unfortunately they did ran out of boba, but getting lychee jelly was a good substitute. For food, I got the sweet potato fries. They were hot and delicious so I have no complaints here. Although it was the soft opening they did a great job and I cannot wait till their grand opening! The food, drinks, and service were all great especially for a soft opening. Service was beyond great and the employees asked me about my drinks and food during my visit to gain feedback. Everyone was very nice and the wait time for the drinks and food weren't long. This place is AWESOME. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, it actually feels like they talk to me as my friend than just people trying to sell me awesome tea. They make the effort to learn their customers names, and returned my lost keys which I lost about 2 minutes into walking into the store because I was so blown away and distracted by the ambiance and vibe of the place. This place is a breath of fresh air! You step inside and it's clean and bright. The walls are painted white and you hear dance music in the background. There were pretty flowers in glass vases on each table. The shop has a very modern look. The menu included a good selection of milk teas, slushes, fruit teas, smoothies, and snacks. The prices were decent. I went on a Tuesday evening with my cousin and 2-year-old. We were greeted by two guys at the counter, they were very nice. The shop was empty at the time. My cousin had a Thai milk tea with regular boba and sweet potato fries. I was asked to sample the Rose milk tea to see if the sweetness was to my liking! It was delicious. My cousin liked her Thai tea but she regrets not asking to make it a bit sweeter. The eggrolls were freshly cooked and the sweet fries were dusted with salt. They were delicious too. I had a jasmine milk tea with boba and thought it tasted more watered down but my friends felt it had more of a tea flavor than milk and were content with that-they bought one to go after having one there! Their menu selection isn't overwhelming which is nice and they also offer food options. I don't think I've been this excited for anything in my life. A boba shop, 3 MINUTES AWAY FROM MY HOUSE!! This place is everything I have ever wished for. The aesthetic, the milk tea, the snacks, the atmosphere. When you walk in, you see their decorations like succulents hanging from the wall, and more plants! It's so beautiful it reminds me of boba shops in California. One of the reasons why I love how reno is developing! The workers were so nice and they offer loyalty stamp cards as well! Was in this shopping center doing errands and figured it would be a good time to stop in and be able to try out the place and thus write a new Yelp Review. First the place is darling! White washed wood décor, an wood accent wall succulents, and some trendy hipster decorations along with white "wood" floors and wooden tables with white legs and white chairs. It is what I would call modern-hipster-simplistic. I'm not a flashy fancy type of gal, so I liked the decor. The counter staff were super friendly. Service was prompt. Place was very clean. I ordered a Honeydew Smoothie, it was made well. I do agree that the price is a little high, I can get the same smoothie (but larger size) in Sparks for a dollar cheaper, but it is really nice to have a boba tea place 5 minutes from my place. They also have free wifi, so if you are like me and like to have quiet food/laptop take along places to crank out some work while eating, this would be a nice place to go... By far THE BEST boba cafe in Reno. Not only do they have incredible flavors, they have incredible events like their Karaoke Fridays. My best friend and I come every week, usually to order the same drinks every time: Thai Milk Tea and Taro Milk Tea.
