I had to eat here again, and have my boyfriend experience it. There are quite a few Cafe de Corals - some locations are larger than others. This is one of my favorite locations - clean, big, and plenty of seating options. You order at a self-service kiosk (which can be daunting, since there are a lot of choices, but fun at the same time). Since it can be busy at times, I suggest looking at the menu online first. We ordered 2 Sizzling Steak Plate Sets, and 2 drinks (lemonade and red bean icy). The drinks were not great, but they do give you complimentary hot tea, which was nice. The steak plates were good, as well as the Borscht soup. It does come with a hot dog, but it was super bland.

Considering how I live in Central, I can confidently say that I've had better, but his place isn't bad. The prices are reasonable and the quality overall is alright. I ordered a chicken doner roll and frankly, it seemed a bit overcooked and it didn't have the pleasing smoky flavour that you usually get, but then again, this is an indoor food stall, so I'm guessing there's something preventing them from grilling the bits of chicken before serving it. Portions are a tad small and they could use a little more sauce, but it's alright overall. It's nice that they offer set meals, I.e. a free drink with your order. Service is friendly, but as this place is a literal food stall, remember that seating is not available.

For a plate of sweet and sour pork that includes rice and a drink, I paid $44 HKD (less than $7 USD). Taste was on par with, or better than, other cafes like Sunshine and Cafe de Coral. Quick service and courteous staff: they even brought out the food, which is uncommon in traditional cafes.
