My sister recommended this place because they offer a shuttle service from HKG airport for a fee, which I didn't even need. It was closest the the Whampoa MTR station, near a little shopping area, 5 mins. I took the express bus from the airport to Hung Hom station, which was less than a 10 min walk to hotel. I found the location to be very central. The mobile loaner was a nice touch. I wish they had provided the power outlet adapter, instead. The hotel has a vending machine that sells it for $50 HK if you forget, which is outrageous! At the street vendors, you could pick it up for $10 or less. This is an average rating hotel. I thought cleanliness was a B-/C+ at best, which was a disappointment. I don't mind places that are dated with a little character, but cleanliness is a must. It wasn't even anything that I could have mentioned to the housekeeping staff. For example. There is a lot of white in their decor. Knowing that, they have to do an exceptional job upkeeping the space. For example, I thought it was gross that my bed was nestled against curtains that were stained with what looked like cosmetic foundation finger prints. Additionally, the remote to the tv had food and dust between all the soft buttons. There is room for improvement. read more
