The eggs being over cooked, had a non runny yolk. I ordered sides of baked beans and corn grits which were both fine. Our plates came out with the sides switched up. Not a big deal. Not bad for a western breakfast in Hong Kong. Not great either. I've had better western breakfast in Shanghai, though you would think Hong Kong being the international hub it is, would have even higher standards for western foods. Eggs Benedict: 85HK. Unlimited coffee: 35HK. Using a restaurants own WiFi to post a 2 star review about them: Priceless.

I went with an Eggs Guacamole and a mango juice and I thought it was all pretty awesome overall. The food isn't overly expensive, you get fairly generous portions, and they definitely don't skimp on your free sides. The potatoes were a tad dry and I probably wouldn't go with them the next time around, but their grits aren't half bad. Hollandaise sauce is thick, yet runny, and the eggs were poached perfectly. The guacamole was offered in generous portions, and the only thing that I could possibly say they weren't generous with, in terms of portion size was my juice. That's fine though. I'll definitely be back to try a few other menu items.

Came here for lunch and was not very impressed with their food. The presentation was pretty but the…read moretaste was very subpar. The drinks are my only reason for the 4 stars. We ordered their fresh fruit tea, lemon spritzer, and some other pomelo fruit concoction. All very very tasty. For lunch we ordered 3 types of sandwiches. One was their BBQ pork sandwich, one was a chicken sandwich, and a pizza toast. The BBQ pork was more like ham and nothing barbecue about it. The sandwich was drowning in their mustard sauce. They put too much and also smothered their potato salad in the sauce as well. The chicken sandwich was marinated in a Thai basil kinda dressing. Way too salty! The first few bites were ok but towards the end, just tasted salt. The pizza toast was yummy. It took a little longer to come out than the other food. Once again the egg salad was smothered in their sauce. We were too full to try their signature waffles but next time we will for sure! The smell was devine.

I've also noticed that all the waiters and waitresses speaks in mandarin (i believe it's the company culture since they originated from taiwan.) The presentation and taste of the sesame ice-cream was great but the waffle was really filling and I had a hard time finishing it. You can probably share the waffles between two people.

Studio Caffeine is a great spot to get a well-made fry up/English breakfast in a few different…read morevarieties along with some strong espresso to wake yourself up. The restaurant is located right on Temple Street, easy to find. The inside is small, cozy, and clean, decorated in a rustic style with maybe 10 tables or so. When I arrived at about 10:30 AM on a Saturday there were several open tables, but by the time I left (a little after 11) the restaurant was full, so you may need to wait a bit if you arrive during rush times. The ordering process is order-at-the-counter style, with a staffer bringing your food and/or drinks when they're ready. Like many places in Hong Kong, Studio Caffeine does not seem to have drip coffee available, so if you're just a plain black coffee drinker like me, you'll have to be okay with an Americano or a shot of espresso. My Americano was pretty good, though not the best, but the prices here are extremely reasonable so no complaints. As mentioned, the English breakfast comes in a few different varieties. I went with the "Classic," which consists of scrambled eggs, baked beans, toast, bacon, pork sausage, and salad. Each item was very good (and again, excellent value for the price, though I would have liked to see maybe a little more protein and a little less lettuce) and I left the restaurant feeling full and satisfied. Overall, a fast and delicious experience at Studio Caffeine and I'd definitely recommend if you're looking for a fast western-style breakfast in the area.

The brunch/breakfast items are pretty standard, hard to mess up items. The scrambled eggs were nice and light, but not runny. I had been craving pancakes for a while but hadn't seen many other options for them in Ktown. Although these pancakes weren't amazing, the stack of 3 were fluffy enough to satisfy my craving, even though they were a but chewy. Jaspas in general overs a wide variety of food options which makes it good for groups and a range of preferences/dietary restrictions. The food quality is just ok/average though in my book. It's not mind blowing good, but you know that you're going to get a decent standard. The prices are a bit high given the food is just ok, but that's the western premium carried over from soho. The extra 4th star is definitely for the decor of this Kennedy Town location.

First off, it is a bit hard to find if you don't look closely, so I supplied a picture of what the entrance looks like. The Corridor itself is cool, and once you enter its a quaint little shop, maybe 7 tables. It is not a bright store, maybe a bit more divey ambiance. As you've seen other posts, there is a great "No Wifi" picture, suggesting we talk to the people we came with and for that I'm adding a .5 star :) We all need to be reminded to enjoy the moment more, not necessarily your gadgets. They do serve food, but we only had coffee. They definitely know their coffee drinks and give suggestions if you ask. Both drinks were good, however, not hot and maybe just above warm? Maybe it was meant to be that way? I'm not sure because the employees don't really follow up to make sure you are satisfied and seem a bit coffee snobby. I'll confess though our specialty drinks were firsts, nowhere have I had/seen them before so maybe they are not meant to be "hot." Seem to be alot of tourists or expats coming in here. There are 4-5 other coffee shops that receive alot of notoriety along with Cafe Corridor. Am I happy I came, saw, tasted? Yes. Will I go out of my way to come back? No.

Well, Cafe Corridor is pretty hidden, and almost a "hole in the wall", at the end of a ground floor entrance across from Times Square. There is no Wi-Fi so it's a fair incentive for you to socialize and enjoy a coffee with your friends instead of being connected. I eventually became a regular while keeping my expectations dialed low (#1) and learned to appreciate this place for what it was: a laid back cafe in the heart of SSP. At first, my visits were strictly to kill time, drink a little something, and get lost in internet space with their speedy WiFi, but I eventually graduated to spending copious amounts of time here while experimenting with their food options, while even holding a few business meetings here. Whenever I was in SSP, this eventually became my home away from home. It was like being in (a narrow room in) the US, but without all the commercialism. The interior is pretty tight; many folks who are working / studying (in addition to dining and sipping) are usually by themselves. It doesn't get too crowded in here even during peak hours, which is why I enjoyed coming here so often. The service is surprisingly great. The owner, Michael is extremely hospitable and the rest of the staff is very welcoming, amiable, and efficient. For expats who are coming here for a little breakfast nostalgia (especially their ever popular "all-day breakfast" for $88HKD), keep your expectations tapered in knowing the food will naturally be served in HK portions and tastes.
