Flat White with Dirty in background
    Jess L.

Solid coffee pick-me-up on a rainy Sunday morning. The crowd included brunchers and coffee dates. I dug the decor, especially the copper-top tables. Very solid flat white. Dirty was good, too, but I'm not sure why customers would go for it (seemed boring?) but was done well. There's a 2 hour maximum and 1 coffee per person on Sunday AM.

3.5 stars. Ahhh Hong Kong. Despite all your western influences, your American breakfast dishes still leave me wanting. Perhaps they don't use the same grease to cook it? Or perhaps they just can't get their hands on the best English muffins. This place is a tad better than some of the other places. It is accessible from the back of the nearby mall, at the street level, but some directions would lead you into the mall. Do not go inside. The front is a little inconspicuous for a busy district, and its signage can easily get lost amongst all the things going on around it. First and foremost, there is no coffee shop in Hong Kong without food. Sure, you can just get coffee too, but that always seem to take a back seat to food, whether it be breakfast, lunch, or tea. I came here to have lunch with friends, and we ordered the eggs Benedict and a vegetarian breakfast, with portobello, tomatoes and spinach. All dishes came with a salad dressed with balsamic dressing. The food was average, with the eggs Benedict less bland than the vegetarian breakfast. Seriously, why would I eat out just to have some vegetarians grilled on a hot plate, which I can easily do myself? However, comparing to other similar foods I've had in Hong Kong, this place is not too shabby. I've just been too spoiled by living in a foreign country. As for the coffee, the espresso was so-so. It was bitter and required more sugar than I liked. The atmosphere of this little coffee shop is nice, and it was a good hangout place with friends, even if a bit cramped.

    Freezer burn smell in chicken.

We ordered a spicy linguine pasta, chicken wings, pancakes with berries, and a vanilla latte. The spicy linguine pasta was so salty and sandy it was inedible. It literally burns your tongue as you eat it. And the clams were so gamey and had bits of sand in every bite. The chicken wings had that freezer burn chicken smell. The berries were sour, but the pancake itself was actually decent. The worst food I had in HK. And it was so overpriced because it is "Western" Don't come here for food. O and bring a jacket, it's freezing in there.

New find recommended by a friend. Tucked away on a small street between Nathan Road and K11. Good spot for a catchup or if you need to do a little work since they have wifi. They also have a wide variety of coffee options if you need recommendations. My friend described what type of flavor she was looking and they had a perfect recommendation. They even had her smell the beans prior to see if they suited her taste. I had one of their bottled juices, which was yummy. I saw their food and it looked pretty good, so I may return when the craving for an avocado toast calls! Good service too!

Pretty good crafted coffee in the side street in TST. Tried an iced Americano and a soft brew with the honey washed Panama bean. The Americano was made with their Ethiopia yirgacheffe which was roasted pretty spot on. I really like the citrus after taste. The soft brew with Panama bean was served with two sizes glasses. The lady barista explained they purposely served in two sizes glasses for us to experience the coffee in two temperature. We noticed a hint of black tea when it's hotter and it's more citrus when it's cold. Pretty cool idea

A lovely little getaway amongst the hustle and bustle of TST. You can still hear the loud car noises from the street when the door opens but otherwise a lovely little cafe. We popped in here for refreshment after the Christmas market at the Mariners Club. I can't say whether their coffee is good as I don't drink the stuff (didn't hear any complaints from friends) but then did have a nice selection of non coffee beverages, including chocolate, pumpkin latte, and tea, either hot or ice. Their ice chocolate was lovely and refreshing and not too rich which I liked. They have their menus in old science-y books which I think is awesome and they look to have a great selection of eats, maybe next time I will try some. They also sell their own coffee beans, mugs and mason jars along with their own shampoos (possibly coffee based but I didn't check) Staff were lovely and friendly and left us to it.

We wanted western style breakfast, and good coffee, near our hotel. This place fit the bill. Very small, but really cool looking. Nice staff. Our egg dishes were pretty good, but not served hot enough. The coffee was fantastic!

Cool aesthetic place we went for breakfast near our hotel! I got this asian-westernized fusion vibe from the clean cafe. Definitely would want to see this back home in San Diego, but I enjoyed the unique options it had. I had the Curry Potato Rosti and my dad got the Avocado Mushroom Rosy Benedict. Nothing really blew my mind, but it was enjoyable. Good coffee as well.

I searched Yelp for a good breakfast place and it led us here. Was not disappointed. Very small place, but was perfect. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was really good and the latte was amazing. Be sure to try those pink pancakes, a real treat. Only here for 2 mornings and we are thinking about going back again!!

Great coffee and the portobello mushroom avocado Benedict was delicious !! Great spot for brunch :) Friend got the avocado Benny which he loved as well

"Probably the best americano I ever had ", my wife said! And I concur. The place is cozy and the staff is very polite. Good café.

Very good western style brunch food and vibes. We tried and liked lobster eggs Benedict and charcoal bun (photo) and pink pancakes with bananas and ice cream

    Gene M.

Cozy and intimate with a rustic atmosphere. The restaurant called maybe 30 seats at most. The wall decor and general ambience is very peaceful. I had the eggs Benedict with avocado purée and Portabella mushroom. They poach their eggs to near perfection here. The color scheme of my dish was a little odd but nonetheless, very nicely done and delicious. The coffee has a really nice sweet and bright note to them which I found in my Americano.

Both were soooo good, hot or cold. I don't think the macaroni/ham soup or the egg ham toast were anything special, and would not bother ordering these again. The place is super popular, but the line moves quick. You may be seated with strangers at the same table (seems to be common practice in busy HK restaurants). Service was questionable, but I also saw a video online that they are purposely (& famously?) rude to the customers. What made me laugh was that we had barely sat down (my butt touched the seat for 0.1 second) and the waiter already wanted our order. When we said we needed extra time to go over the menu first, we got a bit of a death stare from the waiter. Their concept seems to be "come in, eat right away, and get the hell out!" I had been forewarned by my friend about the service here though, so I wasn't surprised. I'd still come again just for the pudding.

It's deceptively big with a massive seating area in the back. Because it's a bit tucked away compared to the packed spots further down in TST or Mong Kok, it's actually an excellent setup if you need to catch a breath or get some quick work done. Just a heads up for anyone looking to connect: they give you a Wi-Fi activation code printed right on your receipt, which hooks you up with 30 minutes of solid, fast internet. The coffee is freshly made and even though one particular coffee branch is just one block away, it tastes much better and is served by a very friendly barista. Personally, I love the taste of hazelnut and every time I go there, a good old iced hazelnut latte makes my day. It is creamy and of the right amount of milk so it is not too milky.
