The supermarket is on the second floor so you have to head up an escalator. The store is different as it has an in and out/circular layout. You enter from one part of the store, go through the grocery aisles and exit from a different end of the store after checking out. It is not the biggest store in terms of selection, but it will do if you live in the area. Aisles are on the small side. At the entrance of the store you will find produce. Grocery aisles are further into the store. As you make your way out, you will find their selection of coffee & tea, bottled drinks and candy aisles. They also have a selection of Japanese goods here. When checking out, make sure to have a bag or a cart on hand for any goods you buy here as they don't seem to supply any. PARKnSHOP is an okay grocery store. The store is a bit small and not as modern as those mall supermarkets. But you will certainly save money here on your daily grocery needs.

It is really nicely designed and looks a bit different than many other specialty coffee places. They offer a range of handbrewed coffees from different roasters (when I was there they had coffee from Copenhagen based April roasters as well as the Tokyo outpost of Norwegian Fuglen) as well as a nice selection of teas and espresso based beverages. Service is fast and friendly, they can make both good espressos and filter coffees so one of several good coffee options in the central area of Hong Kong. The price level is the same as in most specialty coffee places in town so not really cheap but I would rather pay a bit more and get good quality.

As its name suggests, Choux Creme sells cream puffs. I always walk past it when I'm at the Sha Tin station, and it seems that there is permanently a line of people plus groups huddled over the displays and deciding which flavor to get. The temptation is hard to resist and I find myself gravitating towards the end of the line more often than I'd like to admit. The cream puffs here come in a variety of flavors - there's original, of course, and there's Hokkaido milk, tiramisu and strawberry yogurt flavors, to name a few. In keeping up with the matcha trend, there's an uji matcha green tea flavor too. My favorite of them all is the original - there's just something refreshing about sticking with the classic that I really like. The cream is nice and cold, and the puff is a little crisp on the outside but soft on the inside. I've also tried the crispy chocolate cream puff, which I didn't like as much because the chocolate taste was overwhelming and the puff was messy to eat. I had to go wash the chocolate sauce that had clung onto my hands afterwards! The matcha cream puff is not bad too though the matcha flavor is quite sweet. I would definitely recommend giving Choux Creme a go. The puffs start at $16 which isn't too expensive (they've increased in price though; last year I had an original and it was $15), but I would say that they are slightly smaller than the ones at Beard Papa.

The selection here is smaller than the ubiquitous locations in Macau which you find in just about every street near the Ruins of St. Paul's. Unlike in Macau, they don't offer Portuguese egg tarts here unfortunately. Store is too small I guess. However, they do have a nice selection of snack cakes and desserts. They come prepackaged so they are perfect as souvenir gifts from your trip. What I like about Koi Kei is that you can sample the product. They have boxes of each item that you can try out before you buy. I bought a couple things from here and I liked them both. The phoenix egg rolls are nice and crispy, but the key ingredient are the coconuts shavings inside. Though beware this product does not travel so well. The package I brought back was mostly intact, but there were a few egg roll pieces that were crumbled up. I would also recommend the orange peel cake that they have here. It is not for everyone, but I really like how fragrant it is and the texture of the pastry. It is nice to know that you don't have to make the trek across the water to Macau to get these delights. A trip to this store in Mong Kok will suffice.

Service wise I prefer the Macua location one.

There are multiple stores in Macau and from what I could tell, the prices were the same even if you were closer to the ferry. There are boxes of cookie, jerky, etc samples throughout the store and the employees are typically a little pushy to get you in and looking around. I think it's because that's half the battle. Once you're in and you try a sample, you'll walk out with full yellow bags of goodies! Highly recommend: Walnut and peanut brittle which was very light and crunchy vs the American version that feels like you're going to break your teeth! At $15 USD for a generous size box and gorgeous packaging, it was a great souvenir. We got packaged jerky instead of the fresh jerky that you can buy by the pound. The employee said it was the same but the packaged ones come in little 2" sealed chunks. Instructions say to heat it up prior to eating which resulted in a smoky microwave and super hot napalm covered jerky. Pineapple cakes: get the big box. Tender and almost crumbly cake / cookie outside and pineapple filling; you can see the chunks of fruit! Absolute perfection. Shortbread cookies: comes in multiple flavors. My son loved the chocolate chip the best. Some of the packaging at Kee Wah looks similar to Koi Kei but they are not the same. Both are good but Koi Kei is top notch. Can't wait to visit again!

Each time I walk into any Westernized market in HK, I head toward the bakery section seeking my favorite buns for breakfast. It was almost as good as the one over on LS over in Kowloon, but there just wasn't as much crushed ice in it as the one we had in Kowloon. Next time, we'll just ask for more ice in it. Other than that, service was efficient, and I would not mind giving this place another try next time we are in the area.
