I also put my name on a list for a Dodger shirt which was expected in Jun. I asked if I should drive to Kahala to add my name there to increase my odds and was told that it was not necessary. I left feeling cautiously optimistic as I was in the LOW SINGLE digits on the Dodger list. Days before my trip to Dodger stadium in July, I stopped by to check on the status of the Dodger shirt. To my disappointment, I was informed that they had already sold the shipment that they had received. Much to my consternation, they could not locate the list with my name on it for either shirt! I was then informed that I should have preordered. This information would have been useful when I visited the store in March instead of wasting my time adding my name to lists that no one seems to be tracking. To their credit, they did help me place an online order for my Dodger shirt which arrived WHILE I was at Dodger stadium. Too late. Spooner makes up the majority of my aloha shirt collection (e.g. Year of snake, Year of Dragon, Year of Tiger - both colors, Snoopy, Star Wars, Star Wars christmas, USAF, embroidered corporate logo shirts and one with embroidered school logo, tOSU, tOSU bucket hats, etc etc). At this point, I am not optimistic about the kikaida shirts. I'm over it. Very disappointed in the lackadaisical attitude.

The associate who assisted me took the time to understand my situation and resolved my issue quickly and without hesitation, which I truly appreciated. They offer a great selection of aloha shirts, polos, and dresses. While the prices are slightly on the higher side, the quality absolutely justifies the cost. The materials are well-known for their durability, and the pieces are made to last for years. I'm not sure if they offer it, but if you are a Kama'aina, ask for their Kama'aina discount. As many times…read moreas I have window shopped at Salvage Public at South Shore Market throughout the years, it wasn't until I saw Hōkūpa'a, Nāpali, and another staff (I hope you can forgive me for not asking for your name) at their pop-up location in Hilo. The Merrie Monarch vibes must have kicked in and I had to finally pop that cherry. I initially went with my hula family and used that time to soak everything in. The next day I went back alone to purchase a few items I couldn't stop thinking about. Both Nāpali and Hōkūpa'a hyped me up during my visit and all items I tried on was sold on the spot. Countless hugs and mahalo were exchanged during my encounter with them. Again, I had to go in a third time just to mahalo your (business) ʻohana during my trip to Hilo! Just about a week later I figured I would "window shop" again during my lunch break at South Shore Market and I was able to catch up with Hōkūpa'a. Then after some time of being educated about the items at the store I was sold again - resulting in me purchasing even more items than I did in Hilo! More hugs and mahalo were shared that day. I can't thank Nāpali a me Hōkūpa'a and the rest of the Salvage Public ʻohana enough for your continued legendary service every time I visit.

Beautiful linen and silk shirts with a great profile and design. The shirts are carefully sewn with all of the print matching and French seams. Beautiful colors and combinations. They also offer women's dresses, tops and scarves. Right now they are located just outside of Bed, Bath and Beyond and will soon be opening a larger space near Paul Brown's in the same building. Be sure and stop by. I know this will be my go to place for my husband's shirts!

This Crazy Shirts store in Ala Moana Center used to be on the 2nd floor but moved up to the 3rd. They have really cool designs and artwork in funky dyed colors. Some dyes used are volcanic rock, blue hawaiian, beer, coffee, grape & pineapple to name a few. The advantage of that is if you get any of those foods on you, the stain won't show! Most of their shirts are heavy weight cotton and will last a lifetime, so the premium price (avg $44-$50) is worth it.

We didn't really care for the designs and colors of our t-shirts and decided to see if we could exchange them. There are many locations of Crazy Shirts on the Island of O'ahu. There are several stores in Waikiki... And there are shops at Pearlridge Mall, Ko'Olina, and Kailua, as well as on the neighbor islands of Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island of Hawai'i. We chose the most convenient location for us - at Ala Moana Center, on the third level, by Neiman-Marcus. There's free parking at the mall and we had the pleasure of interacting with the nicest staff: Tina. She was so helpful and understanding. We showed her our gifts and pointed out the attached tags. She looked up the merchandise in their system and found out that our friend had indeed purchased the shirts from the Crazy Shirts Outlet at Ward Village. I knew exactly where that store was because I had been there in the past. They have great deals on discontinued prints, flawed items, and vintage stock. Instinctively, I had originally guessed that the gifts had been purchased at the outlet because Crazy Shirts produces a high quality product. The fabric is thicker and sturdier than the material used for other t-shirts. Crazy Shirts last for a long time. The designs are unique, local, and creative. The pricing reflects the superb product. Being practical, I felt that our friend would have gotten our gifts at a more reasonable price - like at the Crazy Shirts Outlet at Ward Centre. For example, we looked at a regularly priced t-shirt that was $51.00. I just cannot see myself wearing something like that. Sorry. I'm aware of the rent at the Mall and I have high esteem for this brand, but I prefer the prices at the outlet. I've personally enjoyed the quality build & unique designs such as the Year of the Rabbit & University of Hawai'i Aloha shirts. Upon entering you're greeted by an associate while the store is decked out in wooden floors & borders. Since this year's the Year of the Dragon, I contacted the store & they gladly added me on the list once the shirts was available to puchase & pick up. They called me notifying the shirts were ready (they usually hold your reserved items for you for a couple of days). Yes, the shirts are a bit north of $100 but because the shirt is comfortable & very high quality I'd say it's worth it. Love the shirt & design so much I bought both colorways! The staff was very helpful, from showing me the dressing room to showing me other offerings such as their shorts & other styles currently on sale. & the way they fold the items into the bag shows they give great care to their products.
