Certainly not a typical cabane à sucre! The dining hall is cozy with few tables and minimalist woodsy decor (a fireplace would maybe add some ambiance!) but the food is where it really shines.
There is a 43$ set menu with multiple entrees, mains, sides and dessert serves family style for your table. The food is elevated cabane a sucre/Québecois fare. My personal favorited were the pork buns, meatballs and homemade taste tots but, considering I was persuaded to try (and even somewhat enjoy) blood pudding ... it was difficult to find anything that wasn't delicious.
Some members of our group initially grumbled at the "counted portions" - ex. 4 meatballs for 4 people - however, the food was so rich and tasty that we were full by dessert. The dessert was by far the best part; homemade whippets, carrot cake cookies with maple cream cheese and a pistachio pie that tasted as good as it looked.
Add to that amazing service - our waitress was friendly, sweet and so attentive that she even took the time to thank us in Italian and offer us shots.
