At this point we were hungry and did not want to return the dishes and wait again. Our soups stayed under the heat lamps long enough to form a crust on top by the time it got to our table. 3. We asked for bread and butter. The former eventually arrived, but not the ladder. 4. Our appetizers were lukewarm at best because they were initially sent to the wrong table and one of the fondues was so mangled, it looked like it had been put in a blender. At that point, we made a comment to the waiter and asked again if we could possibly have butter. One of the staff claimed there was no more butter left and offered to take one from a nearby table where the patrons had just left -- Big no no in the service industry! Eventually, a manager came over to our table where we explained this comedy of errors that was unfolding. We simply asked to ensure that our main meals would be cooked properly and at the right temperature. I'm happy to report that they were. The mains were excellent and the portions were plentiful. They offered to comp the dessert which was not included in the meal and also added a discount to the overall bill. Our Valentine's Day dinner was somewhat redeemed, but, sadly, I doubt very much we will be going back.
