I used to think that this place was here to help and serve their community by offering prices at a lower discounted rate since most of the items are donated, but now they are just price gouging everything . The same attending that picked up the person I put down was the same lady that kept on following me all around the store and just made me feel uncomfortable. She was an older lady with a gray bowl haircut and honestly because of her that is the last time I will ever go back.

You've got your go-to stores like Dillard's, Old Navy, Ulta, plus fun extras like Round1 and a movie theater, which honestly makes it more than just a shopping trip . I like coming here when I want something easy and low-stress -- plenty of parking , AC blasting in the summer, and enough variety to wander without feeling overwhelmed . Is it the fanciest mall? No. But it's reliable, convenient, and still feels like a real MALL which is rare these days.

I enjoyed the colorful murals and art along the way. The boys there spend some time in the play area. The padding there is soft and the climbing equipment designed for younger kids. My daughter and I then had iced tea drinks. I chose Boba Tea company and she Cinnabon. We spent another hour at the arcade Round 1. Here is where my daughter spend $155 for two 300 cards for the boys. While they enjoyed the games, air hockey and simulated race car games, this is a luxury only afforable because they were on spring break vacation visiting their grandma. If there were go-carts available, this grandma would gladly have joined the team.

She didn't greet us or acknowledge us in any way, because she was busy playing with her phone. She was pleasant enough when I went up to her to make my purchase. There are a couple of negatives..... First of all, there have been times when the mall is open, but this store is closed and the doors are locked. It's pretty frustrating! Second, they use a Square to process transactions. I was absolutely shocked when I was asked to tip! Are you serious? At a retail location, and after being ignored? I found it incredibly inappropriate. Seriously, they need to set it to default to "no tip". It's insulting to be asked. After paying with my debit card, I was told they "don't do printed receipts", so I was given the choice of a text or email receipt. I think they should inform customers BEFORE they pay that they won't be receiving a printed receipt for the transaction. Will I return? Possibly. But I'll be paying cash to avoid being hustled for a tip!

Like all Plato's, they are very selective on the items they buy from you, so if you are selling, don't expect much. I do like how there are several fitting rooms in the store, so there is not much guesswork while shopping. I personally don't like being followed and talked to too much as I'm shopping so I thought it was great that the owner and employees greeted me and asked if I needed help then let me be until I asked for assistance or joined a couple conversations. The owner is very sweet and every one who works there in down to earth and hospitable. Finally another person came and went to get the other show. When they rang it up, it was full price despite being on display under a sign that said 40% off. When I asked about it, she said it was only for sale shoes. If it's not on sale, why place it under the 40% off sign? My grandkids do love the Van's shoes but the store service and mis-leading signage don't make me want to go back.
