Marvelous Vintage has been on my list for a while, and I'm glad I finally popped in--especially…read moresince it's located in one of my favorite plazas near Casa Video, which already sets a nostalgic, retro tone. The shop itself is thoughtfully curated and eclectic. You'll find a little bit of everything here: Harley pieces, Betty Boop, Southwestern and cowboy vibes, old-school denim, Dickies, and truly vintage jeans that feel intentionally sourced rather than randomly racks upon racks. From a visual and curation standpoint, it's clear there's an eye behind what's being selected. That said, this is not a casual thrifting stop. This is a higher-end vintage boutique, and the pricing reflects that. Jackets easily reach the several-hundred-dollar range, and many pieces are priced accordingly for collectors or shoppers specifically seeking premium vintage. As someone who shops vintage often and is used to finding great pieces across a wide range of price points, I personally found the prices higher than what I was prepared to spend on this visit, which ultimately meant I didn't walk out with anything. The owner was polite, and the experience itself wasn't unpleasant, but this shop definitely caters to a specific buyer. If you're walking in, expect to spend real money--this isn't a $20-$50 browse-and-buy kind of place. Overall, Marvelous Vintage is well curated and unique, just not aligned with my personal shopping style or budget this time around. If you're looking for rare pieces and are comfortable investing in high-end vintage, this may be right up your alley. For more casual thrifters, it's helpful to know what you're walking into.

The new "phone" pockets are a game changer, a safe place to store and sit without worry of bending the phone! Brands that do not compare to KanCan & low rise KanCan jeans were thrown into my dressing room. I cannot wear low rise or mid rise because they do not offer enough coverage, but there were still low rise and mid rise jeans thrown into my fitting room. The associate also threw in some shirts for me to "try" and assumed my size without asking. The shirts were 2 sizes too big and completely opposite of my style. I'm not sure why she didn't ask my size or my style. None of the jeans in the fitting room worked out & after I told her I'd seen some pieces online I wanted, she was adamant about showing me what she had on the store iPad instead of letting me show her what I already pulled up. Overall it was an irritating experience. If I'm paying $60+ for jeans, I want to enjoy the experience, not have things I hate thrown my way or other things I'm disinterested in at the moment.

The cashier was very efficient and checked all the sizes ( one was wrong) and we corrected the issue. If she didn't do her job so good we would have had to go back and exchange the size. She sure did save us a trip.

Just had a far less than stellar experience. Came in looking for a jacket for an event in 2 days…read more Checked my email first and saw a bunch of discount pricing - except EVERYTHING I looked at was full pop. So I found a nice jacket and opted for a pair of slacks to match. Funny thing, when I asked for suggestions the clerk brought me a plaid pattern, completely different from the plaid in the jacket. I had to ask if this was a new style or something. He agreed it may be too busy. I picked out a black dress shirt, for nearly $100 -of course no sale price! Ok, so the ensemble looked pretty good. At the register I asked for some kind of discount, you know military? Senior? Good looking guy? Nothing. As he is putting my slacks on the hanger, he obviously didn't care, I called him out that he was hanging them with the crease about an inch off center. Just sloppy for a store of this caliber. My purchases have been treated at a discounting box store. Then came my shirt - the trigger for this review. Having been folded and pinned, it was very wrinkled. I asked if there was a pressing service - I was ignored. Then, I was looking closer at the shirt and saw something was on it. I scratched it to no avail. I asked for a discount- after consulting with the other clerk (manager) , I was told I had 2 options (ROFL). First, the could order one for me with a $15 charge but no guarantee I'd get it in 2 days. My second option was to but it and he was pretty sure it would come out in the wash. Full price, of course. So now my motivation for never shopping there again is to get back on my diet!

In fact, it's not a store at all, but rather a small, quaint business decked out with authentic western memorabilia, clothing, and accessories! The owners, Dan and his lovely wife, are awesome. You can tell that they are passionate about the products they sell and incredibly knowledgeable about western gear and the culture. As I mentioned, it's not a typical store. It's a small room inside the couple's home filled with sturdy, handmade trinkets and clothes. I was a bit apprehensive thinking that I was going to pay an arm and a leg for such great quality authentic clothing, but my apprehensions were pushed aside when Dan shared the prices with me. Guys, he's the BEST and offers INCREDIBLE prices!! I ended up buying a pair of vintage ear rings, a belt, and a long sleeve denim shirt for my husband for $75 total!!! I can't say enough about how helpful and friendly Dan was. Southwest Limited is seriously a hidden gem and worth stopping by if you're in the market for western ware!!
