I've only been here twice but both times were enjoyable. I find their prices are extremely reasonable especially compared to the other small children's consignment stores in Tucson. They have a wide range of baby/kid items, name brand, quality pieces new and used, but they also have a lot of stuff I would consider "junk" to sort through just like other second hand stores so it takes a little while to find exactly what you want. My favorite thing about them is both times I've gone in they have had vintage items as well that are gorgeous conversation pieces for sale which is really fun. I personally don't like being followed and talked to too much as I'm shopping so I thought it was great that the owner and employees greeted me and asked if I needed help then let me be until I asked for assistance or joined a couple conversations. The owner is very sweet and every one who works there in down to earth and hospitable. I was very pregnant when I brought in two huge heavy bins for trade and the owners son was a gentleman and made sure to carry them for me. If I could give this place zero or negative stars, I would. I will start by saying that the items at this store are not safe to purchase for children. I have gone to Broadway Babies twice. The first to trade in items for which I got store credit. During that time, the owner was complaining about how a child was in her store and "messed everything up" and starting ranting about how parents should watch their children. However, the store is incredibly cramped which does not allow stroller access so a child has to be set "loose upon her store". Things are not well organized and they have to be combed through to find anything and it is difficult to watch a child closely while doing this. Second time I went to her store was to use store credit. She wanted $40 (!!!!) for a used jumperoo play center. It was dirty. It had not been wiped down. I read through other reviews (just now) where the owner says things get dusty but this was not dust. This was grime and it was sticky. And not from children let loose upon her store. Every inch of it was dirty. But I had store credit and a dirty but functional jumperoo for essentially free is better than paying $20 for a clean, newer jumperoo from FB Marketplace. Or so I thought. I started cleaning it and realized it was filthy, absolutely filthy, under all the toys. Ok, crap gets into those cracks. Easily cleaned. Upon taking one item off, that just pops off so it easily could have been noticed before the owner sold it, there was black mold! I took the entire thing apart and it is everywhere. One toy is battery operated. I assumed it had either old or no batteries in it. Opened it up and the entire thing was rusted out but here's the real kicker. It had brand new batteries in it so the owner SAW that it was rusted out beyond repair (one of the spiral tongs was snapped off the rust was so bad, not to mention the battery acid all over) but they put new batteries in it and closed it up and called it good. I thought maybe I could clean this thing up but it is beyond a heavy duty cleaning. This is not safe. Icing to the cake. I was also looking at high chairs and the owner was showing me another she had in stock. She couldn't get the tray on and said she needed to get some WD-40! On a child's eating surface. A side of poisoning? Don't mind if I do. DO NOT buy from here. The owner is out to make a buck and doesn't care one single bit about the safety of children. And certainly doesn't want them in her store unless they're "contained". I have not been to such a horrible and shady business in quite some time. And unfortunately she got some good clothes and items from me that I wish I had taken elsewhere. read more

Of the three times my wife and I have tried to visit this store, they have been closed twice -- during posted open hours. Both times I double check online to be sure we were there during the right time -- understanding that even though the hour posted on the door may be correct, sometimes things come up that could cause a store to need to close unexpectedly and that could be easily noted on Facebook. But nothing. When I made this same comment on their Facebook page, they promptly deleted it. We may return, or maybe not. Hard to say. More likely, we'll spend more time at Little Bird Nesting Company, which also has a ton of used baby supplies and is regularly open when they say they will be. read more

Great store for babies items! I have been here a number of times, owner is always polite and willing to help with what you're looking for. I took in a few items I got double of during my baby shower, they gave fair trade credit and were pretty quick. I would say they are more affordable than competitor shops. I started shopping here about a year ago, at first the owner Val was extremely nice and friendly but just in the past months I've gone in the store is always disorganized and a mess, and prices aren't always fair anymore, I'm never greeted anymore when I walk in which to me that is extremely rude the store was empty why can't you greet your customer, I happened to be on FB and seen the owner on there business page cussing because someone/s left her bad star rating on her FB that has lead me to never want to return how unprofessional, and because people got upset that she was cussing on her business page they left had reviews and she took reviews off her business page, I will never return the woman has issues read more

My daughter is new to Tucson and has used similar services in four other states. She took a box of clothes to the counter and within ten minutes has a price for exchange which she was very happy with. We spent it all and then a bit more. We were happy they had clothes up to size 10 girls, a great selection of great toys (and some to play with for our one year old companion), shoes and, socks. read more

Cute shop with LOTS of variety. Also has maternity clothes! Shop owner helped me find sleep sacks, which was so nice because then I didn't have to wrestle a baby while shopping. So this place is a little unorganized but in general a pretty good place to find cheap baby clothes. When I was there, they had huge tubberware bins with things for $1 and 50 cents. There's also a lot of new baby clothes- lots of cute fancy things for pictures, most of it is from amazon/China but it's a good selection and has a lot of fun novelty items. They also have an entire rack of maternity which most used stores don't have anymore! Probably 2 dozen swings lots of walkers and strollers. However this place is literally packed up to the edges with stuff- there are bags and boxes of unmarked product under every rack in there. Also comparatively I feel some of the prices are high- $19 for a walker, $15 for a Walmart umbrella stroller etc. Then there are some odd things - brand new in box items that cost the same or more as in store, they had some digital thermometers for $30 etc The store just needs a really good cleaning and some organization, but overall not bad at all. I got quite a few things and only spent $20. I'll be back to shop more, but if you are someone who doesn't enjoy "hunting" or digging for treasures this place isn't for you. read more

My husband and I have been in this store twice. The first time we were looking for nursery furniture and the owner and her daughter spent most of the time we were there in the back room. i couldn't even see them, let alone flag them down for help. Against our better judgement, we went in a second time as they had a nursery set we really liked. We only saw the daughter working and she barely greeted us. After about 15 minutes in the store we left since we couldn't find anyone to help us. If they treat you this poorly before they have your money, one wonders how poorly they will treat you after they have your money should there be a problem with the merchandise, etc. Needless to say, we won't be back. I received a rude/ sarcastic "compliment" from the owner of this store in response to my original review of this store. Poor customer service in person when I visited the store twice and now rude/ sarcastic customer service over the internet. The second time I went into this store the owner barely even looked at me and barely acknowledged me. It was partially because of the poor customer service that I decided not to buy an item from here, when I can get it from somewhere else. Thank goodness there are so many other stores in town! I do miss the huge baby store that used to be located almost right across from this store-- they were so much better. Bad customer service = unhappy customers, and I don't give my business to rude owners. This place has lost my business. I will never go here again. Also, I've gotta laugh at "Val G." (who by the way keeps leaving ridiculous fake positive 5 star reviews for herself, most of which have been filtered)-- she says she's "so overly nice" in her response to my comment, yet I can't help but notice that she sent me a nasty note and all the nasty racist responses she's made to Galina and she calls yelpers "crazies" for leaving honest reviews. I took a lot of my boys clothes to this store. I've used other consignment stores previous to coming here. I got more than I expected to receive. I will be bringing in some winter clothes soon, and have more ready for summer. The owner of the store was welcoming and helped me get everything out of my car. I have always been interested in visiting this store for my son....but unfortunately I will continue to take my business elsewhere. I recently saw on social media an argument where the owner of this establishment was involved. The actions of the owner were extremely unprofessional. All companies know that there are bound to be people who may be unhappy and voice their opinion. However, an owner should take that criticism to see how they can improve their business. In this case, the owner began to get aggressive and say some extremely awful things to the point of harassing other people. This was not just a one time offense either. Another person left a negative review and the owner went out of their way to go on social media and be disrespectful to a complete stranger. Due to the high tensions that these people had with these arguments I decided I would look further down the line of reviews on here just to give them the benefit of the doubt. I soon saw that, a few years ago, multiple people commented on how the owner was in a back room and wasn't present to seeing if they needed any assistance. Again, very unprofessional. The owner took it upon themselves to comment a very sarcastic, immature, and uncalled for response to them. Reading that response alone made me not want to go into that store. They claim that this is a family owned business....well they should be ashamed of their business practices. If none of them have an education in business, I would highly recommend it. You do not go around and berate other people simply because they may not like your business. Since the owner couldn't control her actions in a professional manner she has now caused herself to lose tons of prospective and current customers. read more

This is the greatest consignment store ever, and the mother and daughter team are the friendliest and sweetest you'll find anywhere! Having recently found out I will be the proud grandmother of twin baby girls, I wandered into their store on my way to Macy's (and never went because I didn't need to!). They had only opened a week earlier, and I was so impressed. Not only were the prices extremely reasonable, but the clothing was all brand names and very clean, some with tags still on them. It is very difficult to find premie sizes, and they had a great selection. I've been back several times and plan on going back time and time again.
