Great service. All the folks on staff were helpful and directed me to the sizes I needed. Great selection. I caught a seasonal change so there was plenty of shorts and long pants to choose from. Great pricing. I thought it was a sale but I came to find out that sale day is everyday. Aisles are tight like others have said, it just "is what is". facility is too small for the amount of clothes and racks in the store. Makes it hard to maneuver. For being a "children place" it is not stroller friendly. Customer service is a nightmare! I have been having issues from the girls at the front desk to the customer service over the phone. Very thick accents make it so hard to understand customer service representative. 7/20 I purchased school clothes. Their computer malfunctioned. However, I showed them my bank statement that the payment went through (not pending but COMPLETE) they wanted me to swipe my card again. I refused. They did not give me my clothes nor did they give me a reimbursement. They told me to call customer service. So far, I call every day. They tell me to wait "24-48 hours for email" instructing me what to do. It's 7/31 and still no progress! No clothes and no refund. I also suggest opening at 9 on holiday season read more

This place doesn't even deserve a whole star. The other reviewers are correct about the customer service and how rude the employees there are. I asked for help to look for a shirt in size medium. Every shirt on the table was folded with every size mixed together in no particular order or organized by style. One of the rude a$$ associates said "it's not in order look for it". Really? Could she have just checked the computer to see if they had it? Oh and then she gave me a crazy look as if I had said something to her. I'm literally confused about who is training these girls. Thankfully Justice was across the hall. I had my daughter put everything back and we walked to Justice where the girls were respectful and helpful. I will NEVER shop there again. So my mom and I decided to stop by because my son needed jeans and we found so many great sale items. There was an older lady with shirt blonde hair that was ringing my mom out who was completely disrespectful! He lr register was open so as my mom was heading her way there was a rack in the middle of the aisle blocking her path, so my mom moved it, as my mom got to the counter, my mother said thank you so much! And the lady gave her a dirt look grabbed the rack and said we have been extremely busy and that's our go backs how dare you move it!! And the whole time wouldn't t look at my mom or say a word while ringing her out. My mother is a general manager for a clothing store and would never dream of treating someone that way. Completely distgusting. I have never seen someone treat my mother so badly in a store either. We bought almost 300 dollars worth of clothes. We won't be going back. read more

So I made an online purchase on a black Friday! And I actually went online on Monday and saw that the items I bought were way cheaper so I placed an online order with all items I had actually had previously purchased since The Childrens Place says returns/exchanges are hassle free! I come to return the 1st order and walla it's NOT hassle free... on the contrary they want me to get a store credit even when I have my order slip w the barcode and all my information.. the store rep says she can return it to my credit card but she has gotten in trouble only a manager can go ahead and authorize that... But there is no manager so to call customer service.. i call and they are closed. I tell her see how i get misinformation- the customer service is closed..she looks at me and says well I didnt know they're closed. I ask her if she can call the manager on call and she does... she doesn't fully explain my situation only that I don't want to return because I don't want to pay the shipping.... ok so Diana the manager says no! I told her I've been shopping for 13 years at children's place and this is the first time I am doing a return.... they don't care... they don't accept my return unless I get a store credit... after being a loyal customer for 13 years who has Spend 1000s of dollars... I normally shop online but needed a particular item that was available to pick up in store so I chose to just visit the store ( a month ago) and see a few things in person since it's been nearly a year since I went to the store. I don't recall the name of the associate who helped me but for me this was the best experience I've had from that store in several years when I used to shop in store. She was helpful, checked in the back for sizes, answered questions and was extremely patient with me as I had to look through emails to find my $10 off coupons. I was very pleased with her professionalism, genuine personality and overall helpfulness as I shopped. read more

They are very rude when i was asking questions on the phone and they hung up. They talk very badly about customers and i wont go there again

I placed an online order for approximately $250.00, with all items 60% off mind you. My order was placed on Saturday. This morning I check the status of my order to see when to expect the packages to start showing up and I see some of my order was canceled. I check what was canceled and get online and all items still showed available and I could add the items to my cart. Since they still showed available I called customer service, which stated that the call volume was high. I waited about 30 minutes on hold for someone to answer. Finally I got to speak to a representative that could verify on his side that all items canceled was out of stock. I already had items I would swap each out for, most items were the same product but a different color or saying, and I had already added them to my cart just in case I would need to order separately. The gentlemen I spoke with checked the item #'s to see what items were available and ALL were out of stock. How is this possible? I explained to him how this is a HUGE pain due to us being military and my only option to buy my kids clothes for Christmas, along with everything else I will buy, has to be done online. He did say he would contact the IT department and that this is unacceptable, and I TOTALLY agree. Now I have a hold on my banking account for way more than what I will be receiving, only to be told that "All items online are seasonal items" so they can not notify me of when they are back in-stock. Which I am not sure I would believe it. This has cause a huge mess for me, sorry for my rant, but this is unacceptable. I asked how often the website is updated and I was told every hour?!?! This is beyond a lie!! Why did I not receive any email notification of the items canceled? Was I supposed to have my items shipped for a family member to receive and wrap for me to give to my kids, and then find out that when they received the package that items were not in-stock? By reading numerous reviews I have noticed a pattern with The Children's Place and from now on will stick to Old Navy and Target before ordering from here again. This is my first experience with The Children's Place and definitely will be the last without even stepping foot in a store. read more
