Awesome, awesome experience for me and my dog Big Daddy…read more my big, 2.5 yr old boy was going crazy when new people came around. He was jumpy, it was hard for me to control him and it was offensive to others because he weighs 65 lbs. i like fixing things, so we put ourselves through training with Mike & Champion Dog Training. At the first lesson i was excited and felt great leaving, but during the first week i was scared to enforce because doggie was sensitive to the collar. Mike gave me a little pep talk over the phone and we made it to our 2nd lesson. I cannot get him into a down/stay using force, Mike says Im soft on him, but he's doing great with everything else we learned. Stay, Stand, Sit, Heel, he's a very smart boy & im very proud. We have continued practicing even after completing the 4 week course. I now feel confident I can control him and there has been a shift in Big D., like he knows I expect more and is waiting on my que. Even his dog walker said he has really improved and she did not know he was training.

GREAT CAT GROOMING in South Florida!! My Mainecoon cat had severe matting and Wonder dogs did an…read moreAMAZING job! It is so hard to find a good cat groomer (especially for long haired cats) but I was so impressed! She was very gentle with my cat and gave me a run down of what she planned to do with removing the mats. The price is very reasonable and I am definitely planning to use this groomer again! My cat returned happy, healthy, and mat-free! Provided me with a few treats to give my cat afterwards too! She really knows what she is doing when working with cats- definitely recommend!!

Having my dogs groomed by Shelley was one of the worst experiences of my life. She arrived half an…read morehour early and threatened to leave when I told her that my dogs needed to do a quick pee before grooming. She did not know the breed of my purebred dog and had to look his breed up in a grooming book she had. She had no idea how his breed should be groomed. She was extremely rough with both my dogs who are 13 years and two years of age. Several times I had to admonish her to treat them more gently. I stayed in her mobile almost the whole time during the grooming as I was afraid to leave them alone with her. I left near the end only to go into the house to get payment for her, during which time she trimmed their nails at my request (she wasn't going to). She neglected to trim my younger dog's dewclaws, quite an oversight. She also did nothing to her ears until I asked her to groom them. She injured my 13 year old dog by deeply cutting into the vein in his left hind paw, and didn't tell me so that when I brought him in the house after grooming, he bled all over my house on area rugs, into tile grout, and on a sofa, all of which I had to get professionally cleaned, not to mention my poor little senior dog who bled for three hours bevause she never informed me about the injury (and after grooming I had to leave the house for a few hours, which I would not have done if I'd known about the injury she incurred). When I texted her about this, only then did she admit to having injured him, but never once apologized. She also left abrasions on my other dog which turned into scabs all over her face and body from shaving her down too close to her skin, and doing so frenetically and roughly, and for which she over-charged me, $140 for a shave down, and made me do her job by making me dry my own dogs and vacuum her mobile instead of doing it herself. After I called her out on injuring my dogs, she sent me a curse-laden text telling me to "Go f--k yourself because nobody else will," and other personal attacks. Unbelievable! Who behaves like this?!? A week later I received a letter she mailed to my home demanding that I leave her no negative reviews. How dare she! A couple of weeks before the grooming she told me she had a medical marijuana prescription and offered to procurr me marijuana for $250 an ounce, all of which I have in writing from her. I told her I don't use marijuana, and never have. As far as grooming goes, she has no idea how to groom, but chops at fur with sharp scissors with absolutely no sense of style or balance. The woman is not only stupid, but completely insane and unprofessional in every way. What an absolutely horrible experience. I should have read her reviews before I let her near my dogs. Almost half of them are negative. Update March 20: Having read Shelley Gehr, the groomer's, response, it should be apparent to anyone reading that she resorts to slander and name-calling when she injures a dog instead of accepting responsibility for being unprofessional. I did not give her a BAD check, I STOPPED her check the morning after she injured my dog and the evening before when he bled on my furniture, tile and area rugs after she groomed him. I apprised her that I was stopping the check and told her why I was doing so on the advice of an attorney. It cost me $30 to stop the check and $310 to have the damage cleaned from the bleeding from my poor little dog. I am suing Shelley Gehr for those charges. Since she offered me drugs, I think she's the one with the problem, yet she is calling me a drug addict (and, no, I have never been in rehab as I have never used drugs). I may add slander and libel to the charges and will be consulting my attorney further. This woman doesn't know when to shut-up for her own good.
