    Cheese pizza slice.
    Amy Lauren S.

Zombie Bob's Pizza is located inside Frothy Beard Brewing, and while it isn't my favorite pizza in town, it's a solid option for bar food. I love that Frothy Beard has Zombie Bob's inside with a set menu. Other breweries have food trucks that set up on some nights, but those schedules are bound to change and trucks cancel. With Frothy/Zombie Bob's, you know what you're getting. The slices of pizza are big- if you're not super hungry, it is shareable, but even if you are hungry, you'll probably just want one slice. It is $6 a slice, and toppings are $1, so you can easily end up with a $9-10 slice of pizza. The pizza itself didn't wow me. It isn't fancy- the marinara base sauce (only option) is a little spicy, and the crust is a beer-infused sourdough thin crust. It wasn't the best slice of pizza I've ever had, but it works for soaking up the booze while hanging out with friends.

I love this place! I keep coming back and bringing friends and family with me! Especially after they see the ridiculously large pizza slices! They tell me they NEED a picture with the pizza to send their to friends and family! I've ordered a 20" pizza for take-out and I've also ordered the monster pizza slices for lunch. I love the lunch special of $3.00 off a slice and a beer. My kids love the little play area and the "old school" video games that you can play! Actually, I love the video games too! The restaurant and bathrooms are clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and they even explained all the Star Trek and Star Wars décor to me. We had a friendly debate over whether or not the newer Star Wars movies were worthwhile. I'm a purist. Gimme the older movies any day of the week! You can see the brewery through the glass at the bar area, which is neat. I wonder if I can tour the brewery portion? That would be fun! As for the pizza itself, it is delish! It's HUGE and the sauce has a bit of a spicy kick to it, but not so much that my kids couldn't eat it. There is no way I could eat more than one slice and sometimes I can't even finish one whole slice! When ordering, just head up to the bar. They don't have servers that will come around to take your order. However, they'll give you a number and bring your slices and/or to-go pizza to wherever you're seated. This is definitely my new go-to spot!

I came here with a group of friends for lunch one day. It was my 1st time coming here. I really enjoyed the layout and atmosphere of the place. It's located within the Frothy Beard Brewery, which is pretty cool! The "monster slice" is exactly what it's name says it is. A monster! The jank is huge I tell ya! Definitely only need one slice of this pizza to greatly satisfy your hunger. Anything more than just one slice is like one of the Man vs Food challenges. The chicken wings were pretty tasty as well. The staff here were real nice and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. I will definitely have to come back to this place when I'm on that side of town again.

They say beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. Small... medium... large... circular... squared... thin crust... stuffed crust... extra toppings. Sorry, I was talking about the beautiful face of this delicious pizza slice from Zombie Bob's Pizza. #SorryNOTSorry Honestly, I thought New York pizza was humongous until, I discovered pizza at Zombie Bob's. But, honestly, I was overwhelmed by the numerous selections of brews they offered. But, why brew about when you can wine. LOL! I think pizza and wine is much more fitting... #IJS ‍ Now, if there was pumpkin or Redd's apple ale to select from then heyyyyy.... LOL! The customer service was nice but, seating was limited. I mean I understood why there wasn't enough seating after taking my first bite - the pizza had me zoned out like a zombie. #FoodComa It would be nice to have hosts escorting patrons to their tables. Overall, I will be returning! The pizza toppings tasted fresh, and the slice was hot. My question is, why did majority of the patrons there utilize eating utensils for their slice. Pizza is finger food. LMBO! I loved people watching everyone there and their style of eating pizza. What's my style of eating pizza? The New Yorker way... fold it, eat it. #Yum

On May 26, 2019 at approximately 1300 hours I, Dante G., responded to Zombie Bob's located at 1401 Sam Rittenburg Boulevard Suite 1, which is located in the jurisdiction of the city of Charleston, county of Charleston, and state of South Carolina in reference to a possible hanger outbreak. Not the accoutrement for clothing. Upon arrival, I entered through the right of center double doors located on the A-side of the business. The initial seating location was next to the stairwell, however, relocated to a more centrally located table after ordering. The business is a seat yourself, order at the bar location. I moved to the bar to order where I was met with an unknown female white. I began the order process; a slice of cheese, a slice of pepperoni and black olive, and an order of cheese sticks. I was abruptly I interrupted and directed to wait, because the unknown female White had to enter things individually. Confuse tell two slices of pizza in an order of breadsticks would be overwhelming, I patiently waited ordered a couple of waters and received my number to go sit at the table. I took in the general atmosphere of the location. Zombie Bob's led me to expect a slightly different theme. There was Zelda memorabilia, Star Wars ships in a great space battle overhead, and a wall dedicated to the Game of Thrones houses. I saw no zombie references. No photos of George Romero, no references to King County, Georgia, not even an Umbrella. Just mainstream stuff. The very large cheese sticks and and slices arrived together. I guess my definition of appetizer and theirs is slightly different. The breadsticks, made with beer infused sourdough, were fairly tasty. 2 ramekins of sauce accompanied the cheese sticks, which wasn't nearly enough. But, that's not a complaint. Nobody ever gives enough sauce. After hacking my way through the poorly sliced cheese sticks, I decided to attack the pizza. The claim is that they have the largest slices in Charleston. Without some hard data, I cannot save this is true. I can also not say that it is not true, because the slices were pretty big. The crust was thin, butthead significant strength to hold the toppings. I stretched it out, Ben the crosstab it, began to eat. The songs had a little kick, which makes it stand above the majority of pizza places in Charleston. A chewy yet strong crust delivered the toppings perfectly. There's no cable service, so when my water went dry, it is expected that I go refill it. Which makes me question why I tipped 18%, the lowest option provided, to the wait staff. If you wouldn't tip a McDonald's employee, don't tip these folks. Sadly, I probably will not return. The food is good, don't get me wrong. But the atmosphere and service leaves something to be desired. If I were going to have a son named Brock that would take advantage of unconscious girls, if I wore sandals with jeans, or if I want to talk about how great I was, this would be my place. I definitely didn't locate patient zero here, so my search goes on. See attached photos. End of report.

Zombie Bob's has some good pizza! The Monster slice at $6 is Yuge and almost enough for 2 people. At $6 a slice it a decent value, the additional toppings will add $1 each. We've enjoyed the monster slice on multiple visits to Frothy Beard, and even ordered a whole pizza and took the rest home. The tomato sauce is just a tiny sweet, but it is good. They have other offerings on the menu like a calzone, bread sticks, baked chicken wings, a Chicago style deep dish pizza, etc. The deep dish will take time (45 minutes), and there are 4 different ones. We had that once, and found it challenging to eat. The crust was soft on the bottom, and when serving it was hard to get a nice slice. The cheese, sauce and all ran all over. But we liked it, not sure we'd order again. But overall Zombie Bob's offers some good food to go with FB beer, and we would order again. Just order your food at the bar, and it will be delivered to where ever you sit.

Ok in full disclosure, I'm doing this review while drinking delicious brew at Frothy Beard, a great brewery. Order a slice, it's fantastic and goes great with beer. Crust is thin and crispy. Sauce is tomatoey and delicious. Pepperoni are spicy medallions of yumminess.

At Zombie Bob's, I ordered a massive slice of pizza with additions of broccoli, bacon, and ricotta. Pizza has definitely improved recently, although it's going to cost at least $10 a slice to get decent pizza. I wasn't able to see an itemized receipt until I emailed it to myself. I was surprised that Frothy Beard/Zombie Bob's charges a credit card processing fee. I feel that this is something which should be advertised to customers. If it was on a sign somewhere, I didn't see it, or else I'd have paid cash. No other local breweries that I know of charge a credit card processing fee, and this seemed like a cheap way to get at the customer.

Went there for lunch today, and it was delicious. It takes a little while to get the pizza because everything is made fresh, but there's Frothy Beer to drink, so it's not a big deal. We love the monster slices.

Was super pumped to try Zombie Bob's at their new location in West Ashley. Their partnership is a perfect match, because nothing goes better with pizza than beer (or maybe more pizza). I stopped by for lunch and brought my laptop to take advantage of their free wifi #WorkFromHomeLife I tried the lunch special, which is a large slice with 1 topping (I chose pepperoni) with a pint for $9. The slice was HUGE, like much bigger than I was anticipating (I should've looked at the pictures first). I absolutely love the sourdough crust that uses the beer that Frothy brews; it's so much more flavorful than your typical pizza crust. The pizza itself is nice and thin and crispy, so it was a nice crunch when you bite into it. My main complaint was the cheese-to-crust ratio. The cheese seemed to be sporadically applied, with not as much coverage as I would've liked. It also appeared to only be barely melted, despite the fully cooked nature of the crust. All in all, I will definitely be back (especially to try their pizzadilla)

Pretty perfect pizza when one is craving a traditional pie with lots of yummy cheese and delicious crust! I am not even a pizza fan and I like this place. We usually order the pepperoni and have never been disappointed. Multiple other toppings are available. Slices are HUGE and filling. Zombie Bob's is located inside Frothy Beard Brewing so the full bar and all of its TVs, games, and fun outdoor area are at guests' disposal. Zombie Bob's is a food truck, too, so look for this pizza around town - sure to please!

    Beer flight. Frothy beard. Yum.

Decided to meet my bud here today for an after work late lunch..... The beer menu (all 3 pages) was amazing..... The pizza tasted great! On a chef note, pizza was a great dish to pair with the beer; really clears the palette between the 4 beers of your flight..... Flight being mentioned.... This is my recommendation; order a flight.... Pick four beers and get a small size.of each... Order food.... Find your fav out of the four of your flight... Get a pint of said fav..... Crush the pizza.... Great times all around, highly recommended... Will be back. PS, when i went it was seast yourself...... Walk to the bar to order, get a table number and it comes. At first was expecting a server, so know that... And go enjoy a brew

The sauce and toppings were excellent and every pizza gets topped with the freshest basil leaves pulled right off the little sprigs. We were lucky enough to sit at the counter which gave us a fabulous view of the staff, ovens and prep area. I can not stress enough how delicious the food was. The Caesar salad was by far the best I've ever had. The head of romaine was precisely cut into equal slices and the dressing was tucked inside, the shredded cheese and finely grated croutons were generously sprinkled on top. It was truly fantastic. We finished with a mixed order of 6 small cannolis, three were traditional and three had fresh strawberries blended in the cheese filling for a delicious twist on a long time favorite. The staff was so friendly and accommodating and really seemed delighted that we chose Tutti for our dinner. There's a designated parking lot so no need to worry about downtown parking problems. We were pleasantly surprised by the tomato sauce, and that stracciatella cheese was perfect gooeyness of flavor. We shared a beautiful lettuce salad, but it did not appeal to us; too much frisee. Entrees though were the stars, I had the mafalde with heritage pork and veal bolognese. The pasta was perfectly cooked al dente, and its cut easily held the bolognese sauce. There was a delightful spiciness to it also. Then my husband had the cacio e pepe bucotini. This rich sauce was made with plenty of butter, parmigiana reggiano and pecorino romano. Yum! With all that we had to end with dessert, and we enjoyed the zabaglione and cherry chocolate budino. The budino was the winner, with delicious cherries hidden inside the thick chocolate dessert. So it's entirely possible (and understandable) that I don't always get the best of what a place has to offer. That said, this was the worst pizza I've ever eaten. I was happy to see a place offer NY style pizza by the slice; you don't find that a lot in Charleston. Well, you won't find it here either. It was, generously, a home cook's first attempt at making pizza. There's something fundamentally off with the dough recipe, such that even a wood fired oven can't save it. The slices were overloaded with cheese. It was like eating wet cardboard. The meatballs were pretty good! The bartender was super pleasant and the space is attractive and welcoming.
