This place sells the most unique cutest donuts I have ever seen. We like to make it a tradition specially on Halloween to go get one my son loves looking at the different designs and different options they have.
First off I love the ambience of this place because I am a Horror fan!! But most of all the customer service was fantastic with a beautiful smile from Marie. I came in today with my daughter and we grabbed some cute donuts along with a vegan donut for me. Absolutely delicious. We found out from Marie that this is a business that she shared with her daughter which is a beautiful thing. The decor of the place is so creative! Marie and daughter you did an amazing job with your business. We will definitely be back and would recommend
VEGAN REVIEW Stopped by to get treats for my team. Small but mighty selection of vegan donuts (small only in comparison to the rest of the donuts- there were at least 8 options). They were a hit! To me they felt a little over fried, but still tasty. I tried the maple bar, cinnamon crumb, frosted old fashioned. Would definitely return! Friendly service. Parking lot in the back.

I know what's on my mind and it's the AMAZING donuts at Zombee Donuts. I was beyond excited to check this spot out and it did not disappoint! The donuts were the best around! I loved the crumb flavor so much! The best crumb donuts I've ever had. I can't rave enough about the fun vibes of this donut shop. It's spooky and I love it! Service was great. He was nice and patient with me while I decided what I wanted. I would be here every week if I lived closer! Soooo good! The donuts are very fresh and they even have vegan donuts!

Have been coming to Zombee for years, but had to finally leave a review after their incredible job on a dozen custom donuts for our son's 2nd bday. He loves donuts and the party was the Thomas the Train themed. Was an incredibly easy process where we just mentioned Thomas the Train and they ran with it. They came out exactly how we had hoped. Best part is they still tasted just as great as their normal donuts, so everyone loved them! These were also the "mini" option and they were still plenty big for kids and adults. We also opted for no filling and they still had plenty of flavor. Very affordable prices with no crazy markup. Zombee has always been a great local business and perfect for a donut and a coffee, but add them to the list if you ever need custom party treats as well!!
Zombee Donuts is a cute place that really took time with the decorations and theme. Unfortunately, the decor was the best part of my visit. I came by around 3:30pm and they did not have much of a selection. There was more empty space than donuts, but I made do and ordered 3 donuts and donut holes . Unfortunately, all were disappointing. I understand that they may not have been fresh, like made within the past hour or few hours, but they were old. I almost felt like they made them the day before. I appreciated that they threw in extra donut holes, but when I tried them, I wondered if they added extra just to get rid of old donuts. It was just very surprising how the bread was dry. This was my first visit, so maybe this is just how they make their donuts???? I don't know, but I know that they tasted old and have no plans of coming back. If I am going to pay crazy high prices for donuts, they should be at the very least fresh.
I came into Zombee Donuts in Fullerton today a little after 4pm. Both the sign in the store and the online hours clearly say they close at 6pm, so I figured I had plenty of time to grab a donut and get some work done. There were a couple of other customers ahead of me, but by the time I paid and sat down, I was the only person inside. After getting settled, I went up to ask for the Wi-Fi password. The employee responded by saying they "were closing the dining area because they were very busy," which was confusing because again, I was the only person there, and it was still two hours before closing. I even have a photo showing the empty dining area at the time. I didn't want to argue since the employee already seemed dismissive, but it definitely felt like they just didn't want me sitting there. It's disappointing when a business posts hours and then effectively limits service well before closing, especially when customers come in planning to spend time there. I havent tried the donut because I really didnt want it. I needed somewhere to work and got a donut and was planning on having my friends meet me there for coffee, but customer service matters just as much. Hopefully management can address this so guests feel welcome during the hours the store advertises.
The doughnuts are a little bit pricey at $4 for the specialty ones with a fee, but they are fun and tasty as well. The staff were not too friendly and it was a little awkward when we were looking at doughnuts. We were the only ones in the shop and the staff were standing and watching us but never greeted us or said anything at all. The doughnuts were very good, though I was disappointed in the Nutella flavor. The doughnut was good, but I didn't taste any Nutella at all! Just chocolate. The bathroom situation was strange, which is why I posted a pic of the window from outside. Anyone from the nearby houses or a tall car could easily have seen in the window! They should consider getting curtains.
Me and my partner went in as the name really caught our attention as we were driving around Fullerton. The theme really fits from the decorations, to the parking, to the donuts! We loved the themed parking signs even as we pulled in. We walked in and were greeted by Tony (think that's his name based on my receipt). He was extremely friendly and told us some of the most popular items. He was eager to strike up a conversation and I appreciated just how genuinely interested and engaged he was with the conversation. We got a toasted s'mores and a Nutella donut and they were TASTY! Definitely icing filled but the flavor was great. My partner got a Dead Elvis. He said it tasted a little bit like a Thai iced tea. It was really rich in flavor. It was a tad pricey, but for what they delivered I'm not surprised. We'll definitely be back for sure!
Zombee donuts is definitely a Fullerton favorite! This adorable family owned place makes such unique and delicious beautiful donuts that can't be beat! They also have any kind of hot and cold beverage you would like and provide pup cups! Donuts are always fresh and they offer lots of gluten-free options and the service is with smiles all around. They have acute small indoor seating area with a great vibe as well. Don't be surprised or impatient if you have to wait in line on weekends or some mornings because it's definitely worth it!

The donuts were not only creative and fun (as always) but incredibly fresh and flavorful. Every guest had a favorite, from the signature Zombee classics to the seasonal specials, they disappeared in minutes! And the coffee? Bold, smooth, and just what we needed to kick off an early morning event. Working with Marie, the owner, was an absolute pleasure. She was professional, thoughtful, and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything arrived on time and looked amazing. You can tell she takes pride in her business -- and it shows in every bite and every detail. If you're looking to impress a group, whether it's a meeting, mixer, or major event, Zombee Donuts is the way to go. We're still getting compliments!
This place is amazing first time going and the service I got the moment I step in was amazing two gentleman's who were there this morning greet me and my daughters with such a warm welcome. Donuts are so delicious we will definitely be back soon

I am giving them five donuts because they showed me a random act of kindness I very much appreciated. I ordered for pickup online, quick and easy. Their dozen specialty donuts are delicious and fun for a GREAT value. When I arrived to pick them up, they handed me two boxes. I asked "are these two for me?" They said "yes we gave you a few extra since we have leftovers." The boxes were sealed, so I thought maybe all twelve didn't fit in one box so maybe there's 2-3 extra donuts. I come home, open the boxes, and realize they gave me another DOZEN, free of charge! I highly respect places that would rather give away their excess leftovers rather than throw it away. Food waste is an important issue to me. That being said, the donuts were delicious and I will spread their kindness by sharing all the extra donuts they gave me. Thank you so much!! read more

Went here to pick up something special for all the moms in my life for Mother's Day. I pre ordered the strawberry filled donuts prior to and it did not disappoint! Everyone loved them! We defied to order more when we came to pick my order up and they did not disappoint! My fiancée was amazed by how good the maple bar was. We will be back for sure! Even during this whole COVID19 they have the proper social distancing and precautions for you to order. Very impressed. read more

Amazing donuts and the BEST service! The lady at the counter was so patient with us as it was our first time and we were trying to decide which four donuts we should get. We settled on just getting three- the Samoa, Nutella, and Caramel Churro. She noticed we were originally going to get four and decided to throw in a free donut! So we got the Tortured S'mores one too. Our total came out to $8.25, which was great value for such quality donuts! My ranking from my favorite to least favorite of the four we ordered was the Tortured S'mores, Samoa, Nutella, then Caramel Churro, but they were all amazing! The lady was so nice and I can tell how much this family business loves what they do. I'll definitely be back soon! read more

I've been going to Zombee Donuts since they opened and each time I go in I remember how much I love them. The theme of the whole store is right up my alley and the donuts are always amazing. My favourites are the PB&J, Caramel Apple, and the Monster (made with real energy drink!). And the workers have always, and I mean always, been nice. I'd walk in every Wednesday between my classes at the college and they'd have a smile and a donut waiting for me. They also do custom cakes and speciality donuts. But today really stood out after the morning I've had, and with everything else in the world going on i just really needed a donut. We weren't sure they'd even be open or if they would have any donuts left but they did!! And while my favourites weren't there I got some equally as great ones. And the amazing girl behind the counter was so beyond nice that she gave us an extra donut to try just to see if we'd like it. It was the perfect pick me up. And we'll probably be stopping by not often just to try and support them because this is one of my favourite small businesses!! read more

This place is the BEST! We got an assortment of donuts shortly before closing and there was still plenty to choose from. The donuts were delicious, cute, and Christmas themed! The guys working were helpful and nice. They also offered our dog a cup full of whipped cream which she happily lapped up. We will be visiting again soon. read more
Been wanting to try this place because it reminds me a bit of California Donuts except its main theme is zombies of course. Very cute location located near Fullerton college. I went early afternoon and it was not busy at all. Now the only downfall was that there was not a lot of options to pick from. It looked like all they had left were certain donuts. Not really a fan when there isn't much to choose from. I ended up getting a zombie with "jelly brain" donut. Very cute and creative. It was delicious and overall fresh. So if you're looking for a little sweet treat I'd give this a try and hopefully they have more options to choose from. read more

Zombee donuts is our new neighborhood favorite! They have fun, playful donuts and we love supporting local business. They have a little bit for everyone and their coffees are always delicious. We just recently went in on their 6th birthday and they were offering one free donut per person. We recently tried the PB&J donut, black widow and cookies and scream. The black widow was my favorite. Perfect glazed donut with just enough chocolate to not make it overly sweet. They also offer Apple Pay which is dangerous when I go for walks in the neighborhood without my wallet. This is the cleanest and spacious donut place I've ever been to! ::Donuts:: The donuts tasted fresh, had cute zombie decorations with creative zombie names; like Black Widow, Death by Chocolate, Cookies & Scream, and Our Famous Eyeball. The donuts were good but it just tasted like a donut. There was nothing special other than having the zombie theme. Heard raves from a friend about this place when working in San Francisco. Now that I live in LA, we got to make it out there. Just wow- unreal! Like, I'm not a donut fanatic- but these are a whole new world. So, not a vegan, but I love blueberry donuts. Yup this was amazing! Cake was rich, glaze was sticky delicious. Had a caramel apple, stuffed full of apple pie filling. Had a red velvet (bra there was two of us for the three donuts) that was so fluffy cakey deliciousness. To boot- very friendly people working there. Smiles abound. I'm so impressed. I have to find a good excuse to drive back out there for more! Really don't miss the opportunity to try these! read more

Before I was diagnosed with a gluten allergy there was a whole year of my life where I constantly craved donuts, fast forward two 2 years of being gluten-free I was able to find plenty of dessert places that had a gluten-free option but never a gluten-free donut. My coworker decided to pick some of these donuts to lift our spirits and brought me one gluten-free donut. I was extremely skeptical when he told me it was gluten-free because I had almost accepted the fact that no donut place has gluten-free donuts. So I did my research and prayed I would not get sick with my first bite. After one bite, I almost broke out in tears. For the past two years, I have been craving a maple glazed donut and this not only tasted amazing but it was incredibly moist and not overly sweet. I have fully adapted to the taste of gluten-free so I am not sure if it would taste different to others but I can honestly say I am willing to drive out 45 minutes for these donuts because they are amazing. This review is incredibly belated - especially since we come here several times a month (and have done so for the last several years). Their donuts are delicious and the decorations are the cutest - they all have creative names and unique flavor combinations. They even have vegan donuts. They also do custom decorations to fit any theme. This shop is a small family business run by a genuinely amazing family who does a lot for the local community. Highly recommend!!! I'm coming in on a hot Saturday afternoon, when most of the rest of the population is under some sort of air conditioning, so my review will have to factor in a few things. But I will give it a fair shake with some constructive criticism. The donuts are donuts. The uniqueness in them is that they have icing and designs that a lot of donut shops don't. The taste of the ingredients is okay in that regard. My only irk is that the whipped cream filling doesn't seem to hold up in a room temperature environment or lost a lot of the fluffy texture. Perhaps make the donuts cold, or make the cream thicker. Like I said, my visit happened on a Saturday afternoon, so it was pretty dead in there (pun intended). I'm sure the place is crawling with bodies after the bake is fresh out the oven. And sorry for the lack of photos, I ate the other two donuts by the time I wrote this. The other two were the s'mores and cookies and scream. This one is the Nutella and it's just about done too. read more

Superb customer service, found myself there on an off day wanting to buy donuts for my husband since he was working late. It was 545 PM and they were about to close their doors at 6:00 PM. The girl working behind the counter was still very helpful and nice with answering all my questions in regards to type of donut, fillings, etc. when it was closing time in many cases you often feel rushed by service staff to place your picks and get the hell out of the door. I wouldn't say that their donuts are amazing in flavor, texture, or consistency but keep in mind these were the donuts at the end of the day. I'm sure that they are much better fresh in the morning. The quality of their vegan donuts is similar to their normal donuts. Although the donuts are very cute with their monster themed designs based on the shop's name. The only donuts I might ever purchase again are the ones filled with whipped cream or had other types of filling as the other donuts lacked the wow factor I was hoping for above average priced donuts. If I ever make a run in the morning I will write another review to update but at the moment the donuts from Zombee at the time when I picked them up were disappointing for the price point. read more

This is our second time here. We got half dozen vegan donuts and half dozen regular donuts. They have lots to choose from so it's kinda hard. But we liked everything we got. Our grandson loves the zombie and granddaughter the unicorn. The staff is awesome they package them separately which we appreciate so much!!! Great find. This little shop is located on Chapman, near Fullerton Community College. There is a small parking lot behind the shop as well as street parking. I happened to walk by on the way to the park and it smelled good from the outside. There are lots of options, some basic and some creative. The creativity and art on the donuts do not take away from the taste at all. I got a tortured smores donut and it was delish! I ate it all in one sitting! I liked that the donut itself did not have any filling, because filling would have made it too sweet. The donut itself was not very sweet, but with the combination of chocolate and marshmallows on top made it sweet, but still not super sweet. It was so good! Plus, these donuts are under $3, which is a steal compared to other decadent donut shops that charge up to $5 or more per donut. read more

I've only ever been to donut shops with so much character, in Oregon. I was on my drive back from SF and I was passing through Fullerton when I saw this. I had to stop by because donuts are amongst my favorites! This place is really cute and it's on a busy street in Fullerton. It's very homey and the decor is on point with the Zombie theme! They have all sorts of flavors like: PB&J, Nutella, Maple Bacon, Cookies n Cream, Cinnamon Apple, etc. Their donuts are extra sweet so if you have a major sweettooth.. you're in the right place! They also have a variety of drinks and coffees to choose from but I only purchased donuts this tome around. All in all, I'll be back! read more

Absolute disappointment. Ordered for our son on his birthday. Not only do these donuts look like a 2 yr old made them, they were piled up on top of one another so you couldn't even make out what they were. Payed $50 dollars for something that wasn't worth the price for a dozen regular donuts. The only reason there is 1star was being able to post. Definitely 0 stars. read more

Love their donuts and if they were less than great, I would have given them 1 star. Why am I giving them 3 stars? Greed or bad business strategy... not sure yet. When someone buys $50 of donuts (sort of an unusual thing right?) they should not 'nickel and dime' the customer for 50 cents because they are using their ATM card. I happen to know that the bank charges less for a ATM transaction but even if they didn't, it's the cost of business. I spoke to the owner and she was very nice, but I explained that I understand the charges and transferring that to the customer is not a good business practice and it rubs me the wrong way. If I were ordering a couple of donuts or less than $10, I would understand. After all, she is using quality products and the price of her donuts are 2x others... I simply told her that it rubs customers the wrong way, at this volume, but didn't appear to be listening to her customer. This in itself will be her Achilles heal. Unfortunately, it is the principal of it and although I love the donuts and creativity, I won't be back. Again, the donuts and creativity are unique; The business strategy/ customer understanding is not. read more

I wanted some donuts for breakfast before work tomorrow so I decided to try this place after searching through Yelp. It was late in the afternoon and the few places that were still open had a very limited selection. There are a couple of 24 hr shops but sometimes they taste like the donuts have been in the case the whole 24 hours! This place was actually a couple of miles past my house on my drive home after a busy day at work but it was well worth it! When I arrived the young girl behind the counter was so patient as I took photos of their large selection of donuts to send to my son for his choices. She was so sweet and helpful answering all my questions about all the donut varieties, and flavors. We loved these! So fresh and delicious!! If you want special and delicious donuts plus great service, this is your place! read more

I have called twice months apart both times told no gluten free but they have vegan.

You can either call them and place your order or - and I do recommend this - GO IN PERSON and pick the donuts you want based on what you see and tell them when you'll be picking them up.
Do they make other donuts that aren't as scary, specifically like baseball designed donuts?
They have regular looking donuts like long John's and sprinkles.
