I started with the Liver Tikka. I've never had this before and I would recommend it. Not spicy hot, temperature hot. Wow! For mains, the "handi" was listed as 'just like we have it at home' on the menu so I thought I'd give that a try. I chose lamb instead of chicken. It took about ten minutes (the waiter warned me it would be 15) and I also opted for two chapati to go with it. Again, very hot coming from the kitchen and it had a whole lot of flavor and spice, but it wasn't "hot" spicy just really tasty. Lots of small pieces of lamb in a sauce that is beyond description. Let's just say that it was excellent and the chapati was perfect for scooping. No dessert, but the cold bottle of Kingfisher was perfect (first time in a bottle, it's usually draft). A great meal!

It's also very nice to eat in at the cowick location, it used to be the bay horse pub and has been updated and the environment is lovely. I think you can sit in the bar if you are waiting for a table, but I've not had to wait before as I usually book. They are closed all day Tuesday but open every other evening.
