My husband and I love this place! We rarely order a meal just appetizers; buffalo shrimp, mussels in garlic wine sauce and calamari, it makes a meal for us, sometimes the grouper fingers. Also was there yesterday and you must try the baklava cheesecake! Yummm!!! read more

Unbelievable! Filthy! The overhead air vents were caked with grease and dust. The bathrooms were so incredibly dirty, I can only imagine what the kitchen is like. A scrape of the sticky floors with a paint scraper was in order. My shoes stuck to the filth. I was here 6/6/2026, there was an individual in a sunflower dress with makeup smeared all over her face like a clown; that was clearly hammered. I thought this person was a patron, but after she went into the kitchen and behind the bar I figured she had to be an owner. No one would allow someone this inebriated to continue employment so she had to be an owner. She chugged a rock glass full of either scotch or bourbon behind the bar. I don't know the liquor laws in TN, but I do know them in PA and MA and this place would lose its liquor license in a 15 minute hearing if anyone saw what I witnessed at this establishment. My daughter in law said her fried shrimp was the best she has ever had. Our food was wonderful as well and the service was excellent. We came in a Friday night, when an old style rock and roll band played and so glad we made a reservation since all tables were taken - they honored our reservation. Let's start with the positives. The waitstaff is always amazing, very friendly and welcoming. And the restaurant has a lovely view being right on the water. The menu is large with a lot of choices for all. Unfortunately there are some negatives to mention, areas of improvement. My lettuce in the salad is always too wet. Seems like something that can easily be fixed. And with the prices being on the higher side, can it be possible to supply real butter for the baked potatoes?? I booked a 60th Birthday party and had 65 guests arrive at the restaurant. After SEVERAL emails and several calls to the owner/ manager (that were never returned), the bill was over $1,100 (just for food!) and after just 30 minutes the food was gone. I was completely embarrassed and had to order more. All guests bought their own alcohol beverages so Zois profited nicely from the sell and the tips. To add insult to injury they tacked on a 20% automatic gratuity for setting up a buffet table. The servers were very nice and helpful and everyone tipped them well individually. The food was good but management was not clear on their definition of the volume of the food trays (they labeled each tray as feeding 25 people). I ordered 3 trays thinking I was ordering enough for 75 people. When you do the math it comes out to over $15 per person and I could feed them a whole meal not just heavy hors d'oeuvres for that price. All in all, the management dodged my calls and wouldn't come out of the kitchen to speak face to face and the price for the food I received was outrageously expensive. read more

Have been to this place prior to the change of ownership and it just seems to get better. Several weeks ago, I took my wife and step-daughter their for dinner on a Saturday evening. I am so glad we made reservations because there was literally a line out the door. So glad ownership held our table. As to the food - my adult stepdaughter said her fried shrimp was the best she ever had; the steak was wonderful and my wife's meal was very good. Not only the food, but the service was very courteous; even though the place was packed. The waitress came by several times to give us status, and we so appreciate it. Part of why we enjoyed the time so much, was the music. There was a band playing 1960s and 70s songs, and they were really good - and fun. The place was full of people ranging from a retirement party to a younger wedding party on the deck. Everyone, even those waiting to be seated were friendly. We will return. read more

Food is well below average, most is probably heated up in a microwave or deep fryer. Prepared, processed food. My bread sticks were harder than drum sticks. The band could have used them, literally. The buffalo shrimp never disappoints regardless of the price, however the calamari had a bitter taste which I've never experienced and was unusual for a restaurant owned by a Greek, maybe it was old? My wife often orders the steak-kebabs because the portions are reasonable for the price. The ambience is friendly but a little small for hosting bands which makes it difficult to hold a conversation while dining. Overall it's one of the better places to dine in Soddy-Daisy and we will definitely be back. We really want to try out their buffet when it starts up again. Oh, and the happy hour drink specials are very good. read more

After a long day on the water, you'd hope you could get your hunger fed and enjoy excellent service. They did seat us fairly quickly, however, we waited over an hour to get our food. There were two other tables that had gotten their food and were gone before we got our! To top it off, our server (bless her heart), would literally bring out one plate at a time! If you asked for a condiment or refill of soda, that was also a separate trip. For a table of 6, that was six trips for plates, two for drinks, one for ketchup and one for napkins....yes, each one a separate trip. I wish I had taken a picture of my chicken parmigiana! It was literally two chicken strips that were anorexic, with a three forks of pasta and all the cheese fit in one spoonful. Just an embarrassment for any restaurant to serve. Tried to visit on a trip to Chattanooga, after driving almost an hour across town we were met with someone at the door that yelled "kitchens closed" and "we're closed" even when the bar is still serving and they didn't close for another 5 hours. Amazing food! Grouper fingers were fresh fish that was breaded and fried to perfection. Soups, and salad dressings are all homemade. No canned crap. The lady at the bar refused me and my friends service after 3 drinks in three hours claiming that we had to order more yes more food and this lady was downing shots in our face as though we were beneath her then after ordering more food still didn't bring is drinks and we're paying cash here she was beyond disrespectful and very drunk! We were trying to have a good time with live music but this supposed owner ruined our night after a long day at work. What kind of establishment is she trying to run here is my money not good enough for this lady she needs to get herself some help with her alcohol problem the way she was acting was that of a drunken idiot who needs AA meetings. Terrible top to bottom. Angry staff, drunk bartenders, they had a band that was drunk. The 4 other patrons seemed ready to leave as well.

Staff is super friendly, and the food is always excellent! They don't skimp on the portions either .

I would not recommend this place to anyone. We went to eat as a family with our 8 year old son and as we are waiting on our food the manager was yelling the F BOMB to an employee and using it in all other kinds of ways too. This went on for like 5 mins and stopped and then started again. I just could not believe this was happening and nobody even cared that was working there nobody apologized or anything. Ate lunch here on Memorial Day 05/312021 and it wasn't great. The prices were fairly high for the food quality. Was going to give it another shot before going out on the boat again today but when we walked in to use the restroom before sitting down someone started yelling at us across the restaurant, was very rude, told him we wouldn't be back, and we walked out. Went to the restroom at the marina and will find somewhere else to eat lunch. Oh and there's no outside seating due to a structural issue apparently. Absolutely will avoid this restaurant and it's rude staff moving forward. read more
