Mediocre food, poor service, bad wine. Not a lot to remmend this place - too many good restaurants to bother with places like this.

Everything was delicious and service was great, all at a very reasonable price . Definitely wouldn't get the quality and price in a major city in the states. It was probably one of our favorite meals during our travels .sadly I don't have any photos cause my phone was dead but can't imagine you can go wrong.

Pomo Pizzeria is located in the Haymarket area of Edinburgh and was just a stones throw away from our hotel. We sat down and pretty much had the restaurant to ourselves! Their menu features pizza, pasta, a variety of share plates (appetizers) and more with a good amount of kid friendly options too. Posted on their wall, you'll also find their specials that include drinks and dessert. We went with a capricciosa pizza, risotto funghi misti, and penne arrabiata. For dessert, vanilla ice cream! Our food came out quickly and overall, pretty good. Flavors were a bit light and could've been seasoned more, but still good and didn't feel heavy on the stomach. What I really liked about the restaurant was the decor. It was totally my jam with a bit of the old world charm in the use of wood and their brick walls, mixed with modern fixtures and features. Definitely recommend this spot if you're in the neighborhood! Prices are fair and don't break the bank.

@pizza - Boombastic: smoky barbeque sauce, mozzarella & cheddar, pineapple, roasted red onion, sweetcorn, chicken, Gran Moravia cheese (£9.95).

Orders are taken at the front of the counter and is primarily a self-bus system. ----- Boombastic: smoky barbeque sauce, mozzarella & cheddar, pineapple, roasted red onion, sweetcorn, chicken, Gran Moravia cheese (£9.95). The BBQ sauce was spread evenly over the entire thin crust and had a good smoky and tangy taste. The portion of toppings on top was sufficient - especially the cheese - and fresh. ----- Tropococo Sundae: coconut gelato, pineapple, desiccated coconut, mango coulis, mascarpone, crushed Lotus Biscoff (£6.95). A standard dessert that was fruity, smooth, and slightly on the sweet side. Since orders are paid up front, you can walk up after finishing the pizza and let the staff know you'd like to have your dessert. ----- We dropped on a weekday for an early dinner at 5 PM and the place was empty. A couple of customers started showing up later. Guest Wi-Fi is available.
