On previous visits I've arrived based on the quoted ready time only to end up waiting significantly longer. It hasn't stopped me from coming back because the pizza is consistently worth it, but I'd recommend giving yourself a little extra time if you're ordering for pickup. I took 3 bites of a marghareta pizza ( barely any basil and a blob of mozz all on one side) and knew that I'd be getting sick. Which I did .... violently. I had to go to the ER a day later because I was so dehydrated I couldn't keep fluids in my body. Staff was very nice and they accept payment on a tablet swiper but $21 for 2 pizzas that a preschooler assebled and probably forgot to wash their hands... no thank you.

Pizza.....da bomb!! My boys in the kitchen...the best I miss you guys!! Few thing stopping me from ever going back there. Number one I'm very stubborn. I refuse to contribute even a dollar to a company strictly based on people that should never have certain responsibilities/power. On the grounds in their little shrinking heads (it seems to shrink as he gets fatter) thinking its ok to sexually harass/harass and be a bully "cause you can"! Ok moving on why he would think that's ok shows he lives in his world. So the fat ass is me know-it-all business restaurant "manager/owner" whatever he's calling himself but in all the restaurants I've worked at I've never seen or heard some jaw dropping events in my life. Lettuce comes in frozen according to Eliou.... More disturbing while back possibly a year a woman entered Zitis with her Guide Dog he reacted by kicking her out telling her dogs are not allowed in the restaurant!! A Guide Dog!! He's so smart mr know it all so im assuming he knew that's a mother of a fine on top of closing of how many weeks of the business. Like I keep saying he will slowly destroy the place!! Easily my favorite restaurant. I had my Graduation dinner there and although it's a small place, they accomidated all 9 of us well. The clams over linguini with red sauce is perfect. And I can eat the leftovers for lunch days after. The atmosphere isn't all that exciting but the food is well worth it. The gelati in the cafe is also fantastic, I like to get a scoop of chocolate and a scoop of another flavor (diffrent every time). I've also taken my friends, boyfriend, and sisters there for special occasions or just for a treat. I absolutely love this place. read more

Yum, love this place, been coming here for years, the food is delicious and nice size portions. My favorite is the clams over linguine hot and spicy, hubby loves the veal parm, son the chicken parm and his vegetarian lady friend eggplant parm. Not fancy by any means, but he come here for great food not atmosphere. The wait staff is wonderful and has been working here for many, many years. Oh and the desserts are from Modern Pastry in the north end. Can U say regulars???? U bet, we are at Zitis almost every weekend. Full bar too!!! read more

One of the best places to eat ever. The Grilled chicken & prosciutto sandwich might just be the best sandwich ever invented. Also the chicken parm sandwich ( with extra sauce ) is outstanding. broccoli / chicken / ziti . chicken marsala. Meatballs, all outstanding and so are the friendly people who work there , they look like they really enjoy the expression on the customers face when they taste their food. I came here last saturday, and the place was packed! The staff was quick to greet us, and we were sat quickly. We ordered the milano and pasquale pizza. Both were amazing! I Just had a meeting catered by Zitis, it was amazing!!! The guy in charge made sure every detail was covered.
