Mussels over Linguini
Henry L.

We drove into town late and was finding a casual place to get some dinner as a party of six. We picked Ziti's because it only minutes away. The place was pretty empty late on a Thursday night, but our waiter was engaging and super nice. I ordered the Mussels over Linguini and I couldn't believe my eyes. The portion size here was enormous and I thought this must've been a joke. A huge plate was put down in front of me that was larger than my face and filled with linguini. Oh and filled with mussels. So many mussels lined the circumference of the plate. There were more than 23 large mussels. And to prank me harder, the whole thing was delicious. The linguini was coated just right with flavorful sauce, and the mussels were plump and super tasty. Dang Ziti's, I don't live here, but I might still be back some day.

Everything is just wonderful here. Been coming here for nearly 20 years and surprisingly I've not Yelped them. We'll really, everything is really good. I've had the pizza here as well as a litany of pasta dishes. The best thing they had, and I am going to see if they still have it tonight is the stuffed Eggplant Rollatini which is just heaven. Great salads, especially the Caparese which the Buffalo Mozzerella is made on-site Friendly and wonderful staff. Very clean facility. Prices are more than fair, and the parking is not an issue whatsoever. Highest recommendation!! 09APR2022

Food was amazing. Had the Mussels over Linguine and my lady friend had the chicken parm dinner. Got the mussels fra diavolo and the sauce was one of the best I've had, tons of mussels a mountain of linguine and a side meatball for good measure. The ladies chicken parm was perfectly crisp and moist and the same time. Excellent Italian food, worth the ride from Auburn.

Went to Ziti's for the first time last night. Big portions and not bad price for what you get. Food was great. Definitely go back again.

This visit we ordered the Mushroom Truffle and the NY Pepperoni, Burrata & Hot Honey pizzas, and both were excellent. The Mushroom Truffle had a rich, earthy flavor without being overwhelming. The truffle complemented the mushrooms perfectly, and the crust was crispy on the outside while staying light and airy inside. The standout for me was the NY Pepperoni, Burrata & Hot Honey. The pepperoni had a great crisp, the burrata added a creamy richness, and the hot honey tied everything together with just the right amount of sweetness and heat. Every bite had a great balance of flavors. One thing worth mentioning is that while the food has always been fantastic, the pickup time estimates can be pretty inaccurate. On previous visits I've arrived based on the quoted ready time only to end up waiting significantly longer. It hasn't stopped me from coming back because the pizza is consistently worth it, but I'd recommend giving yourself a little extra time if you're ordering for pickup. Overall, outstanding pizza, quality ingredients, and flavors that keep me coming back. Just don't rely too heavily on the estimated pickup time. Highly recommended.

Phenomenal is right!…read more Some of best wins we've had in Massachusetts! Crispy, and just the right amount of sauce! We had the Buu-a-Que, which was sweet and spicy ask at the same time. For the wings alone we'd be back to try the other flavors (Maple Mustard and Mango Habanero). We are craving Pepperoni and Hot Honey, and their version with a ricotta ''sauce' instead of a red sauce was totally the right move! It gave the pizza a more cheesier taste and showcased the cup pepperonis and hot honey flavors. Our only qualm was that there wasn't enough hot honey. We food the thinner Artisan crust too be light and still provide enough body to carry the load. Maybe they could have par- bashed the crust before putting the toppings on to make the 'underbelly' crisper, but it was great regardless. Their list of craft cocktails was good, but nothing jumped off the page. And a lack of wine choices (my gf likes Moscato - tbh not many places carry Moscato, so it's not a big deal) and no be menu made it a lotto he frustrating to know what to drink. The server was attentive and made sure we had clean plates and plenty to drink. The runner was friendly, as were the greeters. Overall, we'd come back for another meal. The Specialty Dinners almost had us choosing them over the pizza; they were that enticing! There's enough variety for everyone, and your little ones wouldn't be disappointed either.

As for the pizzas, they were awful. They were big but thin, so oily (see attached picture). My pepperoni pizza tasted a bit sweet, yes sweet and nothing that I ever tasted before in a pizza. If I have to describe it in one word then it would be: YUK

We ordered 18 wings with a buffalo sauce, mango habanero, and fig balsamic. All delicious. Also ordered the brisket plate that comes with 2 sides and cornbread. Brisket was tender, some parts were a little fatty, sauce was nice. Sides were collard greens, coleslaw. We also ordered extra sides of beans and onion rings. Beans had a kick to them and had chopped brisket. Onion rings were nice and big. Coleslaw was standard. Collard greens were a bit overcooked but flavorful. Cornbread was sweet and moist but not too sweet, which I prefer

It looks like over-the-counter ordering, but they wait on you. Only one server for the whole hoppin' place, which can cause waits. It can get noisy too. -- Fiery Honey Jerk: Nondescript sauce with mostly sweetness but little hints of jerk rub. Very small wings, and not crispy, but decent tenderness and moisture. -- Smokin' Chipotle Buffalo: I wasn't sure if these would taste more like chipotle or Buffalo. Fortunately, it was the latter. Less fortunately, a very light application of sauce, and similarly not crispy, but noticeably larger, especially the drums. Inner texture slightly moist. There's plenty to return for, and I've had some good experiences at their Millbury location in the past, so I'll be back. But for now, can't go higher than a 3.
