Unfortunately, because we received the mixed grill instead of our two chicken entrees, the solution of charging us the price for the mixed instead of our two meals only took roughly $10 off the bill but resulted in us having less than half of the food we otherwise would've had. I wish I had read the reviews beforehand. To start, the service is completely impersonal. Don't expect a smile or any real interaction beyond being shown to your table or having your order taken. Food: The food is bland overall. The bread served at the beginning is clearly microwaved to warm it. The lamb gyro isn't sliced from a rotating grill; it's reheated in a microwave. At first, my husband and I thought the staff was just warming up their own food, but we quickly realized the microwave went off after nearly every order. The chicken in the chicken soup was extremely overcooked--so much so that it tasted like chunks of tuna rather than chicken. The meat pie was also disappointing: soggy and not properly cooked. Save yourself the time and go to the Forest Hills location instead. At least there, you can actually see the food being freshly prepared rather than reheated.
