They damaged my items and tried to argue with me about it! Gaslight much!!! The "manager" that was telling me she would look at the footage from when I brought my items in, couldn't even communicate clearly. How offensive to insinuate that I would need to fake a claim of damage...for what?!?! They will never see a penny of my hard earned money again. I would NOT recommend this place at all. -10 read more

Don't send your items here. I dropped off a beautiful dress here for cleaning a week before actually needing it for a Sorority Gala event. My dress was mistakenly given to another customer. I'm still waiting to find out if this customer will bring the dress back. Please don't use this location. Also it's very hot inside of store. Treat your employees better so that they may pass on decent customer service to customers. Unbelievable. read more

The store recently shrunk a pair of my linen pants. I brought the pants back over a week ago and left my contact information for the manager to contact me to come up with a resolution, but I have not received a response. I called the store again this morning and was told by Jasmine that the manager, Claudia, would be in around noon and would call me back. As of 4:45 PM, I still have not been contacted. This location appears to damage clothes quite often this is the second and last item I will take to ZIPS in Bowie. Customer beware don't bring your clothes to this location. I guess next steps is to report to this to the Better Business bureau. read more

I pass 4 cleaners in my neighborhood to go to this business. Best customer service I've ever experienced at a cleaners.

I like Zips because you get your stuff back quickly! I must say Kudos to Zips for having an express checkout. I was picking up. There was a long line of people waiting to drop off their stuff. I am happy I didn't have to wait in line, the service was good. She did have trouble finding my items. Not sure why she was struggling. The value is extremely good. Can't beat the price. They usually do a good job on my dry cleaning. They also do men's starched shirts for $2.99. read more

Great value, same day service. Same quality as the far more expensive places. Why spend more?

The laundry wash, dry, and fold was HORRIBLE!!! My clothes are all still quite damp and I will have to dry everything which is a waste of time and money for me. I am disabled and on oxygen so that's why I even tried the service. I regret it. read more

Poor quality. Holes in garments on multiple occasions. Zips lack competition which leads to unfriendly customer service.

Air conditioner has been not working since May 2026. Today is Wed July 15th with temperatures going to 100 with heat index going to 105. You can 10 degrees to the inside temperatures. These workers deserve better. How can the owner or property manager take lease money and our monies for services and not pay the basics for equipment maintenance??? It is inhumane to treat these workers like this. Can you believe they have the doors open just to release the inside heat from the machines which easily adds 10 degrees ! Do you need someone to pass out or worse from heat illness before they get relief? Location- Bowie,Maryland route 450- Annapolis road read more

They do a good job with cleaning the clothes and prompt turn around times. My major complaint is customer service. No one answers the phone ever! It is beyond frustrating. read more

Two Saturday afternoons ago, I put 2 items (a blouse and a blazer) to be cleaned for my mom. It was a very busy week at work, went back this past Saturday to pick them up. Items could not be found. Advised to call the manager. I called back at 5pm. She said come back Monday. On Monday could only find the blouse. I was advised that I have 30 days to present with the receipt for my 88 yo mother's white blazer, in order to get paid for the loss. We will search for a receipt for a clothing item that was purchased sometime ago. Apparently this the policy that Zips has in place when they lose your clothes. I wasn't even offered free dry cleaning or a refund on what I paid to get the items cleaned. I was offered find the receipt and then you'll get justice for your injury. My mom wanted to wear her blazer to church on Sunday.... We won't be using Zips again. I see now why this store has a 2 star rating. Should be way less than that. read more

I got off work at 7pm and decided to ride to Zips to pick up my comforters. I parked got out and noticed the middle door was locked by not fully closed. I saw that the door on the end was opened and walked in. Immediately, a lady on the ladder started yelling " We are closed, " We are closed! I stated " I just want to pick up my comforters. Again she said we are closed. Two ladies said they would help me get my comforters. The lady got off the ladder and said to the guy that she was helping " We close at 8pm not 8:02. I asked the ladies her name and they didn't want to respond so I asked the rude employee what is her name and she rudely said " You don't need to know my name". The customer she was helping said to me that was not necessary. It really wasn't. My review is for Zips to address with the worker. Everything is about customer service and I did not get that tonight. I am leaving this review for the proper management to get in touch with me in regards to this rude employee. I took her picture because she failed to give me her name. read more

After moving to the area, I chose Zips as my dry cleaner since my previous provider was no longer conveniently located. Typically, I evaluate service after three visits before sharing feedback. 1. On the first visit, the staff member was attentive and took notes for each instruction. The pressing on several pairs of slacks resulted in two creases rather than one. 2. The second visit was also handled by helpful staff. When picking up three long evening dresses, the covers did not fully protect the dresses, causing them to touch the ground. 3. During the third visit, the staff was friendly. The person assisting did not take notes but indicated instructions would be followed. A formal skirt suit with sequins was declined for cleaning due to concerns it could be damaged. 4. Upon removing a shirt from the protective cover, there were oil spots present that had not been originally targeted for removal. 5. Some items were laundered instead of being dry cleaned as requested. While Zips offers an efficient and cost-effective model, my preference is for more thorough garment care, which I have experienced at my former dry cleaners. For basic and quick service, Zips may be suitable; those seeking more detailed garment care may want to consider other options. read more

This might be my first ever review. I rarely review places but this zips location is so horrible I have to. If I could give a zero. I would. One of the worst dry cleaners. DO NOT USE. I sent my white comforter to be dry cleaned but when I went to pick it up, a lot of brown/orange spots were suddenly on it. Their customer service is absolutely horrible too. I asked if a manager could speak with me and they made a bunch of excuses as to why they couldn't. The workers said the manager would call me but I am still waiting. I went back in to ask, and they were extremely rude. They didn't know I spoke some Spanish and I heard a lot of things I don't think they would've said if they knew I understood what they were saying.... read more

First the folks who work at this location are always very polite but I took a pair of slacks there to be hemmed as it's original hem fell out on one side which cost 16.00. I go pick up my order and I get home and find that they didn't hem the pants but dry cleaned them. I took them back and was promised to they would be ready by 5 pm the same day. Well I haven't had time to go up there and pick them up but I hope that they can find them as the agent told me that I didn't need a receipt to pick them up. I think there is too much volume at this location and the reason why they can't deliver the type of service a smaller more expensive in cost cleaners could provide. Again very polite staff and I typically don't give reviews but I think feedback can improve service long term. read more

Bad experience. Took suit Jacket in for sleeve alteration. Paid extra to get it back the day. Went back for pickup and it was still where I left it, didn't even start working on it. I know things happen and I usually satisfied when I get clothes back. I probably will continue use them. read more

I absolutely love this location. All of the employees both at drop off and pick up were very helpful.

I've been going to ZIPS Cleaners for a few years now and I can tell they are really top notch. Their customer service is unmatched.

Outfit was ready as promised. Instructions followed. I'm very satisfied the ZIPS service.

They say you get what you pay for so I guess the labor it takes to put clothes on a hanger and the cost of plastic costs $3.49 because my clothes have never been satisfactory after multiple attempts. It's unfortunate because its a great business model but the quality is fair. read more

I have been going to this cleaners for years. I recently toook my pants/ slacks to get dry cleaned. When I picked them up. They scorched my black pants. I then call and spoke to store manager Gina. This lady going to tell me that they did not do this they don't use an iron. She tried to convince me they did not do this to my pants. So she claims it looks like a spill and put it in for a redo and she will call me. I did not like her answer but will give them the opportunity to fix it. When she calls me and I dont like what she tells me. It's not going to go well with her and this MsGina playing mine games! I advice no one to bring there clothes here. They damage customers clothes. I heard after Covid that they were damaging customers clothes. But I didn't think it would happen to me! read more

This dry cleaner is incompetent. I explicitly asked for no straight pens in the skirts because they leave holes and of course the staff still put them in there. When you pay $200+ for work skirts (Elie Tahari)and $295 for a Sandro Paris skirt from Bloomingdale's, you'd appreciate staff following directions. And If they lack proper hangers, they could at least put the pins in the inside lining do avoid DAMAGING someone's clothing. The staff are not answering the phones to speak with customers and I've called over 20 times. Management and employees do not care. read more

I am happily surprised at the quality of this location. Most zips I've been to in the past are hit or miss. I've been coming to this one for the last 2 months and so far it's been a hit. As always the speed and cost it takes them to clean your clothes are great! This location, so far the quality has been good too. I've had several clothes and quilts cleaned here and they've done a good job. It's a little drive from my home, but for me, it's worth it. read more

Love this neighborhood cleaners. Clothes are clean. Service is good. And the price is right.

This Dry Cleaner will never get my business again. They ruined one of my dresses 2 months ago. Said they would order a new replacement dress online from the store I purchased it from. It has been over 2 months. No dress. I have been to the location 3 times. Have been given a different story each time. The Manager has yet to call me about the dress after the first call 2 months ago. I ordered two dresses from the company online last month and they came within 1 week. They could have just paid for the dress by now and I could have purchased a new one myself. Don't use this cleaners. I have been sending my clothes to ASAP Cleaners across the street from them since the incident. Very poor service, especially their customer service. Benita Gray, Largo read more

This has been the Zips dry cleaners store that I've been to however, if they are all like this I will never return there again and suggest you do the same as well. I recently brought in a pair of pants just to be dry cleaned and when they were returned the same day the patch on the side was missing like someone took it off or made a mistake and replaced it with tape. When I called and spoke to manager and whoever was in charge of dry cleaning/inspection they just acted like it wasn't there problem. read more

Well, I really want to like this particular cleaners because you are able to drop off clothes 24 hours if you buy the laundry bag & it's convenient. However, my first experience with the drop off was not a good one. When I went to pick my clothes up they were not ready. Ok, I arrived a few minutes before 5 pm. Ok, I get that. I returned in an hour and a half later and was able to pick up my clothes but the problem was when I was about to wear them the next day, I discovered they only pressed the pant legs so they appeared to be dry cleaned but did not dry clean them at all, and of course, I could not wear them. They did not smell clean & still had wrinkles at the top of the pants as they did when I bought them to the cleaners. This is unacceptable and I got ripped off and was deceived. That was rachet!!! A total waste of my time and money! NEWS FLASH!!! They did it again with 5 pants. The pants did not smell clean but were pressed to appear like they were clean. I had to Febreeze spray them!!!! Most clothes that are dry cleaned at least smell like the dry cleaning solution they use. These smelled the same as they did when I bought them in to be cleaned, sadly enough. That's outrageous- going back to the other ZIPs in Crofton. I never had this problem there! read more

When i dropped off my comforter, I advised the front counter person of a stain (oil or lotion), I even pinned the stain so that the cleaners would be aware of it. Once I picked up the comforter, I noticed the stain was still there. Used stain remover and soapy water and gently rubbed the fabric. Once dry, the stain was gone. What are you using to clean with? Or are you just throwing in a tub, and hope for the best. Very disappointed. read more
