Well, my first shock was that I was informed my dresses wouldn't be ready for pick up until Thursday I understand that they are closed on Sunday, but four days to press four dresses? Not one thing is express about that! We settled on Wednesday after 4pm which is still pretty much Thursday, but slightly better. My second surprise was the charge, for the pressing of these four dresses I was charged over $42, yup you read that right. I probably should've walked out then, but I decided to give them a try. My dresses were ready at the agreed upon time and pressed nicely, but was it worth over $10 per dress, absolutely NOT. I have since just switched to Zips and three dresses pressed only costed me the price of one dress at Dryclean Express and they were ready the next day, before the promised time, that's express to me! Off the bat she told me it will be $150. As if that wasn't outrageous enough for him, she went on to explain textures and surgeon what we need to be done because of the material and how wide it is. And me being naïve I said OK. Even though my sisters spoke highly against it and we're a little bewildered at the price. They help me cover the cost. I go to pick it up today, later then I asked because I volunteer to do her a favor, due to the prom season. She was delighted to oblige. And offered a 10% discount for it and to pay cash. Anyhow, I pick up my dress and it's cut. JUST CUT! Oh I was trying to explain to her, has she let me know when I came in that a him was not possible I would have left my dress as is and went on about my business. I believed that what I asked could be done and that's why I left it there. She yelled at me. Going on about her level of experience and her following the natural fibers. It's cut. Just cut.. She was not getting the point I was trying to make. And kept yelling that I am the only one that's ever complained in her over 20 years of experience. That is not a good way to do business.
