They quickly got the parts to the shop and the vehicle repaired before the end of the day (before the weekend). Pricing for parts and labor was very reasonable. Definitely treated me as a valued customer. Great job and thank you!

The work was $822 but the Toyota dealership is 45 minutes away and Midas is convenient so we didn't even check what the price would be at the Toyota dealership. The new brakes started squealing so we made an appointment and took it back in on 3/12. They checked the brakes and put them back on. After a few days they started squealing again when stopping but thought they might stop squealing after some use. We made another appointment and took it back in on 5/5. They checked them again. They still squealed. I asked if they would use Toyota parts and I would pay the difference in their cost for the parts. They said they would replace the rotors and pads again but would use the same NAPA parts. We took it back in on 5/15 and they replaced the parts with another set of NAPA parts. Those started squealing too and the tech from Midas drove the truck to confirm it sounded terrible. I asked again for them to use Toyota parts and I would pay their difference in cost. They told me the difference in the cost of the parts would be $430. I knew that was not right. I checked the cost of the parts from the Toyota dealership parts department and they were $371. I checked the cost of the parts from the NAPA store and they were $237. That is a $134 difference, not $430. When I told them that, they said they would replace the NAPA parts with Toyota parts for $202. We had that done at Midas on 6/11 and now after almost a month the brakes are still perfectly quiet. So... it cost us a total of $1024 and three and a half months just to get rear rotors and pads that are quiet. After all this, I checked with our Toyota dealership on getting the rear pads and rotors replaced and the cost at the dealership is $557. I should have checked with them first and had it done in 1 day. My advise to anyone is to at least check the price to get the work done at your car's dealership before taking it to Midas.
