Internet service went down 8/17 in all of Duvall because of "vandalism". After being down for 5 days straight, the only thing Tech Support says is people are working 'quickly' to restore service but can't say when it will be back. I'm switching back to Astound. I've had Comcast for a while but the service became very inconsistent (constant drops). Since I work from home, getting booted off meetings and my Outlook wasn't sustainable. The troubleshooting steps with Comcast too tedious.. + they had a guy come out and he couldn't fix it. Signed up to Ziply online and got free installation and one month free. My home was already wired for fiber so it made things easy. Technician showed up a week later and hooked everything up. Signed up for 200GBs down/up and when performing a speed test one week into service, I get 250GBs down and about 150 UP. I've had no drops or any performance issues at all. Love the service so far. Only negative thing is I wish you could modify plans on your online account without having to call in. read more

We got stuck with Ziply after they bought out Frontier here in North Idaho. Last November, we switched to a new internet provider. I was in the room when my wife called Ziply to cancel and got the confirmation number. In February, Ziply sent us a bill for two months' service. We called again and gave them the previous confirmation number. Again, they claimed everything was taken care of and we were canceled. Next, Ziply sent us to collections for the unpaid bill -- for a service we canceled and for which they confirmed cancellation twice. Never, ever use this company. read more

I was told I'd have to pay for January I was like ok whatever. But then I got charged for February disputed that got my money back. Now a new bill stating I have a past due date 03/23/21. Contacted them first guys no help. He kept saying oh it's for December and then oh October, but I have proof of payment??? So? Second guy said that my payment from January was bounced and I'm like uh no my bank account states it was taken out and I have proof as well. Terrible quality. They shut my service too early and resulted in so much stress. They opened a new account because they messed up on shutting down on the correct date and then they never activated the new service. I have tried at least 10 times over the last 40 days to close that new account and cancel the bill but none of the customer service representatives were able to address it. They also keep saying the issue has been addressed but no. I ended up paying a bill for an account that never activated and was requested to be closed for 10 times. Fiber isn't supposed to do that. * Also when they took over, they raised my bill $20/month. They charge me $90/m for 50/50, but offer 100/100 for less and would not switch me. * And... I'm moving in a month. I filled out the form multiple times on their website and never received a confirmation. So after a week, I used their chat and after an hour they told me "there's nothing in the system and to call." I called the number they gave me in the chat and it was for business. They transferred me to residential and after two hours, they said they can't help me unless the current resident of the house and myself call Ziply together. How the hell is that supposed to happen? * Also, when I tried to leave a review in Yelp, I would get a page load error. I tried multiple different times. When I switched to the Duck Duck Go Private Browser, I was able to leave a review. I think they're are monitoring the network. Avoid at all costs. They charge you more without permission, lower your service and won't help you online, in chat, or on the phone. Shit, you can't even upgrade or add a line. read more

After providing the tracking number as proof we sent it in, it took 2 months to be taken from collections and they STILL sent us a bill for $9.00. I would put zero stars if I could. I cancelled my ziply service effective March 31st. I have a credit balance on my account and have contacted ziply multiple times to get my money returned. First they till me I will have it in a week; then they say next month, At first, it was coming on a preloaded mastercard ... on the next call they say they are mailing a check. So ten weeks after cancellation I STILL DO NOT HAVE THE CREDIT BALANCE REFUNDED. I have reported them to the BBB and am considering a small claims filing as well. We paid for Ziply fiber and now we have discovered that our wifi speed only 1/10 of the speed we should be getting. I called Ziply fiber tech support and the representative can't reach the router remotely. I requested for a tech to do a service check on Memorial Day. Since my wife and I both work, so I asked for Saturday morning on 6/3. We waited for the tech from 8-11 and no one showed up. I called ziply fiber tech line and had been told that the service request was closed due to no access on Wednesday, 5/31. We had no idea how that could have happened. I request for another service date on Saturday 6/10. I called back and confirmed that it's the right date and time. I just received a text message from Ziply fiber says that our service request scheduled on Tuesday, 6/6. What do I need to do to make Ziply fiber to understand that no one would be home during weekdays because my wife and I both working? Is it really that difficult? I am just upset and frustrated. Today is Monday, 6/5. I received a phone call from Ziply Fiber advance tech team reminding my appointment is set on Tuesday 6/6. I asked for a supervisor. 10 minutes later supervisor Kelley took over the phone. After another 20 minutes explaining what I have been thru and what my frustration was, supervisor Kelley decided to provide me a phone number to the dispatch team. So far so good, right? This morning, I found out the number supervisor gave me was the Ziply Fiber customer service number that everyone can find on Google. Supervisor Kelley managed to refer me to point zero, from where it took me 2 weeks to find the Ziply Fiber tech support contact number. A business owner from Ziply Fiber commended on my review and ask me to chat on Ziply Fiber page. I lost hope in Ziply Fiber. If I have a choice, I will change to a different provide. I just recently signed up for Ziply and have had nothing but troubles every step of the way. I am shocked on how dysfunctional Ziply is and how I'm being treated as a new customer. I ordered and was set up for installation of 2 gigs with Wi-Fi 7 router on and received a text and email that I would be alerted when the tech was coming. I waited 2 hours past the time I was notified he would come without no contact. I had to call the Sales Manager and let him know nobody contacted me. I finally was contacted that the tech was on his way. When the tech arrived, he installed the Wifi 6 with extenders and I told him that's not what I ordered. All he is said is that we ran out. After he left, I called the Sales Manager again and told him that this is ridiculous that you're installing something I did not ask for. Couple days after that, the tech contacted me to install the Wi-Fi 7 router and set it up. I connected everything but my LG tv. I told him I cannot connect, and he told me to either move my router closer to the tv or buy my own router. Can you believe this? I told him I am not moving my router closer and hook up the ethernet. Ziply is not attempting to solve the problem! The tech also said his supervisor told him it's the tv so I contacted LG and they said since the tv shows the TP Link router as available but cannot connect, it is the router and not the tv. A few days later I contacted customer service to complain about nobody taking responsibility and finding a solution. A new tech came to my house the next day and did not even attempt to figure the problem out, all he said that I can hook up another, lower end router. I told him, you want me to hook up the router but not figure why my tv isn't connecting? I told him to just leave my house!! This is the worst experience and customer service anybody has heard of! I switched to Ziply 2 months ago due to major bandwidth issues with Comcast. Unlike some folks, I have been working from home for years, and with so many people transitioning, I noticed a massive dip in bandwidth. Once I changed to Ziply, I immediately saw a great improvement in my service. However, this all hit a brick wall as I have now seen extremely sporadic, service over the last two weeks. About identical to the poor service with Comcast. There are messages of service issues, but these are vague, and give not ETA on repair time. All in all, pretty disappointing. Great start, after the 2nd try on the install, but then I tried the service. It wasn't any better than Xfinity. Upload was better but with all the reconnects during use, it ended up worse than Xfinity. Then the real nightmare started! Just try cancelling your Ziply service....I dare you. 2 months later, with a month to month agreement, I received closure of the account. They took 2 extra months worth of fees out of my account but I'm finally free. In my trade/business I make $120 per hour. They will not reimburse me for my 4 hours time that I spent with them on the phone over a 2 month period. No bueno as far as I'm concerned. read more

If I can give zero stars this would be the case. I haven't even been able to get service set up in my home yet!! First appointment undersrandable come here to review everything component to even see how it is suitable for internet. Good, set up second appointment and the guy comes and I only talk to him for a solid two mins he leaves and says we are going to have to reschedule because the box outside needs to be replaced for a larger capacity. Why wasn't this caught during the first appointment. Third appointment is scheduled, I requested a phone call before coming to home. They call me once and I attempt to call back immediately after I miss the call and I mean immediately. only to get to customer service to let me know there is no way to get a hold of the installer and that they should be attempting to call me back at least two more times. I receive no call back in the next twenty mins so I call customer service again for them to tell me that the appointment is now rescheduled from 130-5pm and I ask them to ensure that they call me and that they are prepared. They said yes they will be prepared and there should be no worry and Proceeds to tell me that that will. It is now past 5pm and they have not showed up nor called to tell me anything. I call again to see what the hell is going on. Customer service did their best to inform me that they are no longer coming out today because here's the kicker the materials they need are back at the facility. Why reschedule in the first place if you are not prepared. I took my time out of work to be there for the previous appointment and the previous day to set up the spent longer talking to customer service to get this situation longer than they have tried to get me service. AND I STILL DONT HAVE IT INSTALLED cus now my appointment is moved to Tuesday. God the amount of times I've had to personally call customer service to try to resolve this has been impeccable and far above frustrating. It's wasting my valuable time and I swear if I don't get this installed on Tuesday I'm seriously going to lose it and become ziply fibers WORST NIGHTMARE. Kudos to customer service for trying but they need more sources and ability to contact installers faster. Faster internet and fast service? Looking like it's a complete lie. If I could leave zero stars I would. Really bad customer service. So I moved into a new apartment complex in Bothell and Ziply was one of the options so I thought I would give it a try. I placed an order and they setup an installation appointment for the next week. I got an email and a phone call the day before confirming the appointment. Everything was set - or so I thought. They gave me a 1-5 window for installation. No one shows or calls during the window so I call about 30 minutes after 5. After waiting for 10-15 minutes they tell me installation couldn't be completed at my address and they didn't give much detail beyond that. They say that the order was cancelled two days prior. In otherwords; the order was cancelled BEFORE the confirmation email and phone call I received about the installation being set for the following day. Beyond that, how is it possible to place an order for addresses where service can't be installed?! Ridiculous all the way around. Too bad,I was looking forward to giving fiber a shot. read more

Worst customer service possible. Been having issue with router since Aug and customer service reps not believing me. They can see the service interruption on the computer. Finally in Dec they believe me and say they are sending out a new router. 1 week goes by and no router. Call back multiple times since Aug to complain and the day we will send 1 out and should recurve within 24-48 hours. Did not get the router within that time. Got the router the filling day and try to connect and having issues. Called tech line and tell me they need to send out a tech and schedule an appointed and the whole time my internet is not working and shutting down every couple min. The day the tech was scheduled to come out my wife cleared the schedule to be at home and tech no shows us. No call from Ziply or notification saying not coming out. I called multiple times during the day and then they say they can reschedule my for the following week. My wife waited all day when the appeals from 8am the noon and they wouldn't reschedule for the next day. Worst customer decide possible and still having issues. Run away from Ziply. They need major help in management and service accountability. Zero star if possible. read more

Wish I could give zero stars. Called and ordered gig internet with my own router. Was promised $60 a month no tax. After 4 service calls and 5 weeks of spending every day off I had waiting for ziply to keep coming and fixing it I finally had working internet. Fed up with the service I was receiving, I called and was told I was being credited for the first two months of service since I didn't even have working internet during that time and I spent so much time and energy on the phone and in person trying to make it work. WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT BELIEVE THE REPS OR ANYONE ON THE PHONE. THEY WILL LIE TO YOUR FACE. I never received a refund and I've now called their customer service 8 times and been talking to them for over ten hours. It's been a nightmare. I'm not even signed up for auto pay and the money was STOLEN FROM MY CREDIT CARD. I DID NOT EVEN PROVIDE THEM MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER AND THEY STILL BILLED ME AND BILLED ME INCORRECTLY. AFTER I WAS PROMISED I WOULDNT HAVE TO PAY. They reduce to refund me the money that was stolen from me because they said there was an "error" and they weren't sure how to proceed. They refused to let me speak to a supervisor or anyone higher up to escalate the situation. Any other shady business practice is they raised my rates saying I was using their router which I'm not and never have used. They said ALL customers are charged for a router whether they have one or not. Even when I signed up for no router service, and confirmed at installation, and again with customer service that I would not be charged for a router, I still was. This entire company is a scam. I'm doing a fraud investigation into the credit card charge they won't refund since I never authorized anything. Will someone at ziply that knows what they're doing finally fix my account and give me the refund I'm owed? Probably not since everyone there is incompetent but I thought I could at least warn everyone else about the scams this "company" is running. If you do decide to get ziply, I'd recommend getting their signature at installation saying you denied a router and also a signature on the quote they "promise" you but refuse to deliver on. Absolutely ABYSSMAL service in every regard. I regret ever taking my business to this company. The internet service itself was completely awful, barely worked at all, constantly disconnecting, constantly having to call tech support with little help at all and even after their techs came out and "fixed" the problem my internet continued to disconnect every day. This happened multiple times. And now MONTHS after I canceled my service/account and returned their equipment I'm STILL being charged by them and they can't even figure out "why" on their end. So according to their Customer Service now I have to get in contact with 'Credit Control Corporation' because my account (which was supposedly closed months ago and I was literally told by their customer service that my account was closed) on their end doesn't show I'm being charged, cause the account is ******* closed! And it goes without saying I cannot access the account because guess what, its closed! Never should have left Comcast at least their service worked and was reliable. Absolutely insane. read more

TLDR: DO NOT GET ZIPLY FIBER. No trial period. Plus a Cancellation Fee. Internet fiber service has so much lag, latency and ping when I am playing online games. The wifi disconnect frequently throughout the day causing my Ring Alarm system to disconnect. Videos on streaming services buffer forever. It is terrible until they get things sorted out which sounds like they aren't really trying. You are charged for the first month price regardless of when you cancel plus there is a cancellation processing fee of $9.99. I paid $69.99 to try the service for 3 days which I then decided to switch back to my previous provider Xfinity. I heard and complained of Xfinity for the longest time until I tried Ziply. Never was so excited to get Xfinity back. Sucks I cant use fiber internet but Xfinity is wayyyyy better than Fiber in terms of internet reliability and performance. read more
