Love this place! Parking is a little tight. They have a lot in the back you can park in. They have 4 kombucha flavors that are the regulars, and two flavors that are rotating. You can do a kombucha flight and sample all 6! Growler fills are $7 for 32oz and $14 for 64oz. They do have a few beers on tap also, but you cannot get a growler of beer. I ordered the Hawaiian guacamole as a snack. So so good!

Anchorage has truly arrived! In the past few years we've gotten: Our first prohibition-style bar, our first cidery, our first Asian fusion spot(s) and now...our first kombucha bar! This place has killer ambiance. The kombucha taps are up on a loft/deck. They also have beer, hard cider, wine (a San Gria booch/wine hybrid to be specific), and food/snacks. They also have assorted food items (that I didn't sample, next time!) They have a charcuterie-ish platter that is insanely clever in its naming "adult lunchables". You can walk into the area where they brew and ferment the kombucha, it looks very similar to what you'd see at a brewery. The seating area has great natural light and a sweet, sweet vintage chess set! I got a kombucha flight, it choose two of their house 'buchas and two seasonals: Year Round: Blueberry Mary: great blueberry taste, not overly sweet or "artificial blueberry" in taste. Great expression of the fruit while still tasting like 'booch. Ginger Rogers: a little on the sweet side for me. I like my ginger VERY strong and spicy, and the ginger was pretty muted in this one. Seasonals: "Edge of the water" (berry lemonade): delightfully tart! "Pineapple Passionfruit": by far my favorite! Complex fruit textures blended well with the subtle fizz. I wish the kombucha was a little bit drier, but I'm definitely a weirdo when it comes to that. The level of sweetness on these will hit the sweet spot for most people. Definitely give them a shot!

Think hipster Think small and cozy Tasty. Think tasty. We stopped by for the music but the place was too packed. We decided to grab some food and come back. So glad we did. If you get a flight of 6, you can try all their kombucha. Each one comes with a smidgen of fruit or mint. The little mason jar glasses are very rustic and homey. And they are all very good. Not nearly as tart as GTs Booch. If you have had the booch from Carr's or Fred Myers and thought, "Wow, that's a really strong vinegar flavor" that's not what you're gonna think here. They also sell stickers. And pizza. And salads. And awesomeness. So they don't sell awesomeness...but it seems awesome! Zip is easy to miss as you drive down Arctic. And parking is weird. Behind the building is a fenced in lot with a sign that says Zip Parking. Spoke to the head brewer, Jesse, for a hot minute and he was very informative and friendly. This is a place you need to try.

Great spot! I wish I had more time to sit and chill. The workers were so friendly helpful. Got everything I needed, price was just a little more than I expected but I'll be again. Everything tasted great!.. both with and without alcohol.

This review is for BLACK LABEL BOOCH and OH MY! They are so good. You need to try them all then buy to go packs, get your growler filled. If hard kombucha ain't your thing, there are regular kombucha available. They have hard seltzer and beer as well. They take Covid measures seriously, I was able to social distance with others and get my order in easily. Congrats on the opening of black label booch!

Booch was decent. Merch was okay. Place is tiny. I'm not a giant booch fan but you should try it if you are.

The pizza was hands down one of the best I've ever had--perfectly cooked with fresh, high-quality ingredients and amazing flavor in every bite. You can really tell they take pride in what they serve. The beer selection was just as impressive, with plenty of great options that paired perfectly with the pizza. Whether you're a craft beer lover or just looking to enjoy a cold drink with your meal, you won't be disappointed. What really made this visit special was the customer service. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed happy to make sure we had a great experience. It's rare to find service this outstanding these days. The atmosphere was warm, lively, and inviting--perfect for a casual dinner with friends or family. As a bonus, they even have a fun little souvenir corner where you can pick up shirts, hats, stickers, and other keepsakes to remember your visit. This is much more than just a pizza place--it's an experience. Amazing food, fantastic beer, outstanding customer service, and a great environment. I can't wait to come back, and I'll definitely be recommending this place to everyone I know!

Unfortunately, they do not offer beer flights, so Colby created his own half-glass sampler, which did the trick. The brewery itself was pretty neat, with large beer barrels incorporated into the décor, including one that guests can actually sit in. Their beer selection was on the smaller side, but we felt the prices were fair. I ordered the Blind Berry Cider, which had a pleasantly tart flavor, though it leaned toward the extra sour side. We thought this spot was great for Instagram photos and a worthwhile stop if you have some extra time while you're in town. Overall, it was okay. I do wish we had known about the outdoor seating options beforehand, as we found the indoor seating area to be somewhat limited. The glassware was pretty cool as well, with several different sizes available. The bathrooms were clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We would definitely return if we find ourselves back in town again.

In fact Alaska in general thus far I have enjoyed the breweries there considerably. The beer I had from this brewery was the Panty Peeler which is a Belgian Tripel. This brewery blocked me on Instagram…read more Before I headed there last night for a dear friend's birthday and I wanted to check to see if there would be a foodtruck. They kept not coming up in the IG search results...weird. I initially was worried they went out of business because it said their IG page was down. I warned the birthday girl that maybe that had suddenly closed and joked "unless I'm blocked, lol" to which she replied "they blocked you!" So weird and so sad. Never in my 267 brewery reviews on Yelp has a brewery blocked me from their IG. (that I know of, lol) My only interactions with them on IG are to re-share their reels so my friends know what beers they have on tap or what food truck is out front. I guess if I had to guess it would be that my 3-star review about their being the only brewery in Anchorage that doesn't allow you to taste their beer first must've struck such a nerve that they researched to find what IG account is connected to my Yelp account, and then blocked me. Really disappointing, I always thought the owner/brewer seemed cool but I guess he has thin skin. Their Anchorage-style Pilsner is still one of the best beers in town, hopefully I'll get a pint tonight. Last night I had a west coast IPA and a Cold IPA. Both were good. The fact that you have 3 different IPAs on tap combined with a 3 drink limit by the state of Alaska...really speaks to why tastes are helpful. Still the worst name of any brewery. It sounds like a Temu beer kit that makes murky booze your friends pretend to like.

Don't remember if it's the same pretzel as the other 49th restaurant or not. The beer list is expansive, with beers 49th state brewing is testing out, no beers from other breweries. They have a QR code to scan to see the list and they project it on the wall. We got flights to try different beers. They had a few chocolate and coffee stouts. I tried the Mexican stout and it did not have any hint of cinnamon in it like was described. Also tried the apple cider donut beer. The more I drank it the more overly sweet it was.
