I had to adjust my daughters rock wall harness (I climb) properly. Parents were disconnecting their children from the belaying system. Really?! No employee questioned this. EVERYTHING was dirty and/or stained. They have a 'cafe' but I'd not eat anything prepared in this place. If wiping down a surface with disinfectant is too difficult, food prep is rocket science. Not risking getting sick over an overpriced sandwich. This place requires some money to clean it up and get employees who are concerned with customer service. It has been a few years since we last visited Zip City. While my son had fun, all I could see was all the trash, dirt and grime. They had been open for two hours, on a weekday when we arrived. No one was playing when we got there. That trash was clearly there from the day before. Broken locks on bathroom stalls. The employee who told our group the rules, said "don't climb on the green parts, and no back flips. Go crazy." Another parent began asking about other rules. The kid in charge then said "ya, that too." Pizza crust has the texture of Hot Pockets. I overheard a kid saying "it tastes like school pizza." Though I think that may be true for most play places. Grip socks are now required. Yes, this place is fun for kids. Fun factor is still four stars. The facilities themselves are far from their former glory. read more

Go to Rock-n-Jump it's way better! Pulling up the outside is confusing about where to actually enter. You see a sign that says Main Entrance but that door is under some sports shops sign. There's no idea that these are all places inside Zip City. You enter and there's NO prices posted, the staff directed us to some closed laptops to sign a waiver. The place is so dirty. Everything is just randomly all over there's no ORDER. There's trash everywhere. The bathrooms are gross and I didn't even want to wash my hands because the faucet is covered in slime and grime. A few years ago I went to zip city every Friday with my friends and we played at the trampoline basketball courts.One Time I went there I shot the ball and fell back against the net and the whole net snapped and I fell 8 feet hitting my head on the concrete ground causing me to get a severe concussion I was knocked out cold for at least 5 minutes.All they did to fix the hole was zip tie it back together it really shows how careless some people are for kids safety. avoid Zip City Cincinnati!!!! there are ZERO safety precautions and, although he is 100% fine, WE JUST HAD A CHILD FALL OFF THE ZIPLINE. he wasn't goofing around. he followed all rules. the staff did not check his gear prior to his jump. once he fell, there was no concern, urgency, or safety procedures on behalf of the staff to handle the incident. nobody even told a manager!!!! UPDATE 1: we waited 45 mins for them to "review the tape" and come talk to us about the next steps in their safety protocol. it was at this point, they finally asked if the child was ok and when we discovered that there was nobody on site who had emergency training at the time of his fall. yet, we were assured that there were hospitals two minutes away. UPDATE 2: after reviewing the tape and looking at the gear he was wearing, they're "not sure what happened" but there are still kids {not ours} being sent down the zip line. additionally, just found out that the owner, greg, is here in the building. we have yet to see him. they are calling to see if "they can get him to come down." unbelievable. UPDATE 3: after 90 minutes the owner finally graced us with his presence. he made excuses and took ZERO responsibility for what happened, only saying "they would investigate." no apology. no offer to make it right {i had to ask for a refund for all of us}. no respect {he kept cutting us off and took a call, without excusing himself, in the middle of our convo}. i showed him the videos i took showing that no staff members were present and he said that he "knew staffers were on site because they had clocked in" and was confused as to why they weren't at their stations. i am completely shocked at the lack of respect or regard for the kids that play on their equipment every day. accidents happen.... but when they do, you apologize, you make it right, and you do everything you can to ensure it doesn't happen again. NONE of those things happened. in fact, the owner went so far as to say, and this is a direct quote, "i will shut down that zipline, but that doesn't prevent me from opening the other two ziplines since nothing happened there." Came here with my family today ( daughter and nieces and nephews) . Came originally to skate but kids saw the trampoline park and wanted to change . Which was no issue , they currently have posted 30 min jump $7.50. 1hr jump $12.50 however when we went to pay the customer service staff said that pricing was no longer valid and prices just changed to only 1hr at $15.95 . So I was little upset cause they still have the old pricing clearly visual and false advertising . Then I asked when did it change , they said yesterday (12-22-17) , which is fine . Just would've been nice to have updated your signs to reflect your current prices instead of misleading customers. We still paid for the kids to jump , just frustrating from a customer stand point. Other than that the staff and on site manager remained professional and nice . Not sure if I'll bring my family here again since pricing isn't accurately reflected. read more

We bought passes on cincysaver for Christmas Break and just went. While there is plenty to do, there was little staff supervision. One of the boys that we went with actually fell off of the zip line due to a carabeener malfunction. He wasn't hurt, but it was scary to think that if he had fallen differently or at a different time he could have been seriously injured. It was also scary to see how unprepared the staff members were for an accident. Accidents and falls do happen, and if the employees had responded differently or safety protocol had been implemented I would have gladly ranked this higher. They were not trained well. We will probably not go back. I would rather pay a little more for better safety. read more

I took my son (9) to try the zip line after hockey practice. He was a little nervous since it was his first time. I decided to go first to show him it is safe. Unfortunately I was injured when my ankle struck the green box you stand on when they unhook you. a very sore and slightly bloody ankle. When I showed the guy at the desk he seemed concerned and went off to talk with the operators. As I limped back to my car it struck me as strange they didn't care enough about a potential bad review to even offer a refund. My advise ride at your own risk! Where should I begin? Well we booked a party here and it was down right one of the worst experiences I have ever experienced. The management and staff were all completely rude, unprofessional and judgmental. When I first walked in I had no clue where to go because there were no employees around. No was was sitting at the desk. You cant even tell who's an employee and who's not. Lets start with this "private party room". there is nothing "private" about it. Staff continuously was in and out because it leads to the kitchen, manager came in multiple times to use the restroom... GROSS... Even a few customers came in to use the rest room. One random customer came in to take a chair and said the manager told her to come and ask us if she could have a chair. We get out pizzas and the cheese literally fell off the entire pizza. You could not pick up a slice without the cheese falling straight off. It was disgusting. The manager brings the bill and there was an extra child on the bill. We went to the desk to ask about it and the girl sitting there said that the manager was outside and no one could go and get him so we just would have to wait. Okay... 10 minutes... 15 minutes later he is still outside so she gets another young girl to come help us who then called the manager on his cell to come in. He came in and said "the bill is what it is and there is nothing we can do about it." He did not even try to explain why is was higher than it should have been. He was completely closed off to trying to show us any type of customer service. He asked my husband who's son we were there to celebrate who booked the party. My husband told him his sons mother planned the party. This guy has the nerve, the audacity to open his mouth to say "So let me get this straight... She planned the party but not you two are no longer together and now you have to pay the bill... Should I be sympathetic?" I don't know why he thought that was appropriate to say or what anyone's family dynamic has to do with the bill but he was completely out of line. He then insinuated that because we were a African American party that we were trying to "get over" and get a free jumper. Says he sees this all the time. He then says i'm going to go watch the camera and came back like 20 minutes later looking stupid because he was wrong and still did not open his mouth to admit he was wrong and apologize to out party and family for his absurd, racist comments. He just took the extra jumper off the bill and sent us on our way. I would not suggest anyone visiting this location until it is under new management. September of last year we took our 3 kids on a Sunday afternoon/evening and they had to close early due to overbooking a corporate event. We were there for a little over an hour and we were told that we could have 3 free passes for another time and we went back yesterday right at noon and the manager Chris was exceptional. I was expecting a hassle to get the free tickets and all I had to do was show him the receipt, answer a few questions and we were in. The workers were all very helpful and attentive to my kids, they played on the trampolines, climbed the rock wall and zip lined and everyone was very patient.. My kids love it here and we will be taking them back again :) read more

Took the family to Zip City on March 25th and they exceeded my expectations. My daughters used to play volleyball at Sports' Plus and this is by far the best thing they have put in. The front helped me with pricing and the manager, Joe, even walked me around the facility before we purchased anything. All the staff was super friendly and added to the fun experience. One employee even tossed a dodgeball with my granddaughter since we came on a slow night and there wasn't anyone for her to play with. Was so much fun and we will definitely be coming back! read more

Lots to do for the kids. Trampolines, zipline, and climbing wall. I have high energy kids so purchased the 3 hour unlimited. Problems: only one zipline open, half the climbing walls closed for inspection & employees that seem to be bored/bothered to be there. Also freezing cold, the restaurant & game room closed due to water issue. This is one of our favorite indoor activities in the city. We have come here a number of times over the last four years and all my kids (9-13) love it! It can get crazy, but the staff is always super nice. I went one time and messed up the Three Hour deal and the guy was nice enough to give my kids one extra zip line. Today I showed up with 6 kids for a bday celebration and the girl at the counter was terrific. It was super busy and hectic and she was ALONE, but she never once lost her calm even though she was being pulled in five directions. She was even a quick problem solver when I was missing one of the kid's release forms. She got that girl off to play as fast as she could. Way to go Kalin!! I am happy with the new couches and seating area and the bathrooms were super clean. It IS expensive. But, the three hour unlimited deal isn't bad and it is great for active kids! I had the pleasure of having Joey and Ashley being helpers to me. They were great with helping with my equipment and answering my questions. Although Ashley told me that the foam pit blocks were not cleaned so that kind of made me feel un-easy. Also when I was there I was jumping on the trampoline basketball hoops, when I hit my head on the rim. I had a big bump on my head. My friend also hit his head, so I strongly suggest they should put foam around the rim to prevent injury. Other than the rim my experience was great. Wow bad experience!! First of all as we were trying to jump into the foam pit - the staff was laying on the end of the trampoline one of us was trying to jump on. Making it awkward and hard to jump. Secondly, IMMEDIATELY after we left the large trampoline area at the end of the facility at 6:35 (25 minutes before closing!) it was wiped down completely so it was all wet. We then weren't able to go back on that area & not to mention we felt uncomfortable like we were being kicked out early. Even though we paid for a full hour that was not up. Thirdly, when we used the bathroom there was a staff member yelling at someone on the phone over a personal matter. This made us all uncomfortable & seemed very unprofessional. The last trampoline we went on was the basketball area, all to get away from the staff members that were cleaning up early & making us feel unwelcome. The girl overseeing this area had her purse over her shoulder and was pacing around - very obviously showing she was ready for us to leave so she could go home. we ended up leaving at 6:45 - 15 minutes before closing because we felt like we were being kicked out. The facility was nice & we had a fun time. But all in my group felt that the staff was rude & might need a lesson in friendliness. This was on March 29th. We were all friendly to the staff. We weren't breaking rules, we listened to them, & thanked them. And yet no one said hi or even SMILED. They had no reason to be rude and lounge around like we were invading in on THEIR space! This place either needs new staff members that aren't rude snobs or they need a class on how to be nice to paying customers. read more
