Exercise can be fun. Just imagine you are a contestant on American Gladiators. If you know what that is, you're probably 3 times the median age of the majority of patrons. It's OK, I will enjoy watching you embarrass your kids in front of their friends. Meanwhile I got to slam dunk for the first time. It's right next door to Full Throttle Indoor Karting, so if you've got a large group of kids of differing ages to entertain, this is a good spot. There are small lockers that are 50 cents per use. An hour of jumping is $8. They have a foam pit for flipping, dodge ball on trampolines, slam dunk station, and general large jumping area with angled wall trampolines. The food is your typical junk. You have to wear their shoes, and you have to have socks (if you don't they will sell you some). No phones or other items in your pockets while jumping. I'd recommend athletic wear. Jeans just seem like they'd be a nuisance to me. There isn't a changing room, but there's a smallish bathroom that will suffice. About 10 minutes in you will be amazed at how out of breath you are (or at least I was). But, after that you don't think about it and when the hour is up, you don't want to quit.

Sky Zone was fun and a perfect activity to do with our 3 year-old. I went with my husband and our 3 year-old and 8 month-old daughters. My oldest loved it. Her and I jumped together until she got tired and was ready to go. Lol. My husband was having some back issues so he sat this one out and watched our youngest daughter. This was my first time ever going. My husband had brought our oldest here once before. I think for both of us to jump for 1 hour and we both got the jump socks, it was approximately $35-$45 dollars. The process was easy. When you first arrive, you have to sign in and fill out paperwork in the computers. They have little stations that house the computers away from the actual cashier line. Filling out all the information takes about 2-5 min. Once you have completed the paperwork you pay and then go jump. My daughter and I went to the very back jump area where it was more younger kids. She would jump in a square and I would jump in a square. Then we would jump together. We had a ball! I also like that they have quite a few jump areas to choose from. You can play dodge ball, basketball, or free jump (like what we did). It was pretty neat. After about 30-40 min our daughter was ready to go. Overall, we had a good time and all the kids and other parents who jumped with smaller kids, respected each other and everyone's space.

    My son enjoying toddler time!

We went to toddler time on a Friday morning and it was great! It wasn't too crowded and I was pleasantly surprised that my two year old was allowed to jump in the foam pit. The staff was pleasant and patient when my son was not obeying all of the expectations... For example they don't prefer two jumpers to be on any one trampoline simultaneously and my little man kept joining a new little buddy on his trampoline. I appreciated their understanding! My child isn't always great at remembering to obey those types of guidelines! The only area for improvement is it was $10 for 90 minutes. My son only made it an hour. I know that's a competitive price for these types of places but that's the only thing stopping me from taking him every Friday this summer! For the crowd that can visit during the school year they have a deal for ten toddler visits for $85. Seems like a great deal to me! Overall it was an awesome experience! He had such a blast! I'm so glad they provide times like this!

We went for a child's birthday party. No outside food is allowed. Jump time is sold in 30 min. increments. People may start jumping only on the hour or half hour. Their special jump socks are included in the price. Jumpers are separated by age. This is great if you have a group of small children. They will not be trampled by the bigger ones. If you have children in more than one age group, or if you want to jump yourself everybody will not be permitted to jump together. There are 2 dodge ball courts, a slam dunk basket ball hoop, a foam block pit to jump into, and some plain jump areas. This could be a fun and expensive way to keep kids entertained when temperatures are less than ideal.

This was my family's first experience with sky zone. I was able to find discounts using Groupon, so I purchased a party package for my family because they're seven of us. On the website it States no outside food. When we arrived and signed in, and they showed us to our reserved room. The gentleman offered to put our order in to be ready by 2:30 at the end of our jump time. We went out to the concession stand and I asked to see a menu. I was told there was no menu and that they only served Pizza chips and drinks. I attempted to order too large pizzas with extra cheese and ground beef. The young man told us that they ordered the pizzas from LaRosa's, but could only get cheese. He said he would check to see if they would be able to add the beef, but he didn't think so. The park itself was underwhelming for us. True they had a foam pool, they had one basketball area, and a bunch of balls flying around on the trampolines. There was no jousting area and no obstacle course as the website said. After our jump time, we went back to our party room but our pizza was not there on time. It was almost 3:00 before our pizza did come and at that point there was another family looking for their Pizza as well. I tried to order nachos; but, was told they had tortilla chips, but no cheese. The whole experience seemed poorly managed and disheveled in my opinion. There seemed to be way too many people in the trampoline park at one time. I saw a staff member wipe down a rail one time during our visit. Needless to say, my husband and I were very disappointed. The kids did enjoy jumping, but that was the extent of it. I will not be returning with my family because I'm sure there's something better that we could waste our time doing.

I took my son here for his 3rd birthday and he had an excellent time. He bounced and bounced.... and bounced until his heart was content. It was the only time in the last month I didn't hear him whine or cry. He was just so happy. I like the scale of the place and how it is separated by age groups and activity i.e. Sky slam, dodge ball etc. There is just so much room for a kid to run and jump and just be a kid. My only hang ups- The service at the front desk is SSSLLLOOOOOOOOOOWWWW! Gheesh! It was like waiting for Jesus to return! Not a good first impression. My other issue was the area with the foam blocks. There are only a few trampolines to bounce off of into the block pit which means either long wait times or someone gets hurt. They should have the blocks in other sections as well. My son really wanted to play with the blocks but was ushered away by staff members because he was in the way and could have been injured. Normally taking blocks or anything for that matter would have been cause for a tantrum but he handled it really well. Dare I say he even displayed a little maturity for a newly minted 3yr old. Bottom line- My kid loved it so I loved it! $14 an hour was a great deal. Not so humbly submitted, King Michael C.

Kids having fun, except all "rules" don't jump down there, do 10 jumping jacks. we paid to play!

My husband was saying how much better it will be when we come back in the summer with the huge patio and all the garage doors open. I agreed, but I also think part of the reason we loved it so much was that even though it was a cold, gray February day, inside Parks and Rec had so much greenery and lots of windows so it felt summery inside! Our server was super friendly and went over the menu with us, telling us which items were most popular and which were his favorites. I got the peanut butter porter which was really good and hubby liked his s'mores stout as well. We split one of their huge pretzels which came with whole grain mustard and beer cheese...delish!! Then I got a 1/2 apple and pecan salad, which was more pecans, apples and dried cranberries than salad (and I mean that in the best way!) My husband let me try one of his chicken wings which had a nice spice to it. We were very pleasantly surprised at how great our whole experience was because the reviews were pretty mixed but honestly, it was a great visit from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Savannah Center is tucked off of Union Center Boulevard in a vast green space. The wedding ceremony took place outside on a lovely sunny day. The couple said their vows inside a gazebo, which was positioned in front of a scenic lake and fountain view. The bridal party had a variety of places to take photographs, from outside, to the grand stairwell, to an area with posh seating that just so happened to match the wedding colors. Keeping with tradition, the bride and groom chose not to see each other before the ceremony. Each had private rooms on opposite ends of the building. After the vows, guests were led into a cocktail area, then later were seated in the dining room for the wedding party introductions. Dinner consisted of grilled chicken or filet mignon, with mashed potatoes and sauteed vegetables. I made a joke about mixed vegetables being "filler", but these were very tasty! It was a mixture of zucchini, red and yellow peppers, onion, and broccoli. The steak was succulent and as always, the mashed potatoes were devoured. I also enjoyed the pita chips that were served along in the bread basket. A small salad with red pepper ranch dressing was served for an appetizer. I'm not sure if the wedding cake was crafted by the caterers, but it was moist and savory. Throughout the evening, I spotted Mary, the wedding planner, keeping everything organized and on task. She works for Savannah Center and definitely had her hands full for this elaborate wedding: - Outside ceremony with about 150 guests - Live acoustic Celtic band: harp, flute, and violin - Five bridesmaids and five groomsmen, two flower girls, and a gigantic immediate family - Serving a three-course meal - A live band for the reception - A separate master of ceremony for the reception All of this, and she had to keep the bride and groom from seeing each other. The wedding went off flawlessly, and from what I could tell, all the guests were having a wonderful, lively time.

I have shot several weddings at Savannah Center - some included the ceremony there, too, in the outdoor area with the gazebo. First off, as a photographer, I really like the cool details in this venue. There's the staircase (to nowhere) which gets soft light from the windows by it - just perfect for gorgeous bridal and other portraits. I like the wood panel area with fireplace for the groom/groomsmen photos. The piano makes a great place to do photos - fun or otherwise. It makes for very cool wedding ring photos, too - with the reflection. The over sized chairs work well for photos of the bride and groom. And there's all the outdoor area/gardens. Even with the buildings in the background, there are ways to get great photos. Also, the food is very good - better than many venues/caterers. Another plus - you can't hear the music from other weddings. The bridal suite for getting ready is spacious and well appointed. Every time I've been there, the staff has been professional with good service. They've even helped move furniture in the main lobby for photos! In summary - I would definitely recommend The Savannah Center to couples looking for a wedding venue with some character and lots of pluses. It has a lot to offer, and they do a fabulous job!

I was attending an event where our group had rented a large portion of the meeting space. During the event, a member of their staff--who later identified himself as the food and beverage manager--was yelling at children who were simply being kids. They were not damaging property, not being destructive--just acting like normal children at an event. I approached him calmly to understand who he was and why he felt it was appropriate to speak to children that way. Once he confirmed he was hotel staff, I asked why he handled the situation so aggressively. Instead of responding professionally, he immediately escalated the situation. Rather than addressing the concern, he accused me--a paying guest--of trespassing and told me to leave. When I questioned that, he escalated further and called the police. At that point, I stayed to ensure the situation was properly addressed when law enforcement arrived, because I had done nothing wrong. Before they got there, I went to the front desk and asked to speak with a higher-level manager. I was told no one was available. However, when the police arrived, a manager suddenly appeared--but instead of helping de-escalate, the situation became even more tense and poorly handled. What's most concerning is not just one employee's behavior, but the complete failure of professionalism across multiple levels: - A manager yelling at children unnecessarily - Escalating a simple conversation into a confrontation - Falsely accusing a guest of trespassing - Calling police instead of resolving the issue appropriately - Management failing to step in and calmly resolve the situation This was not a misunderstanding--this was a breakdown in basic professionalism, judgment, and customer service. The situation escalated to the point that police were involved, which should never happen over something this minor. It reflects very poorly on how this property trains and manages its staff. I expect far better from a brand like Marriott. This experience was frustrating, avoidable, and handled poorly at every level. I would strongly caution anyone considering hosting or attending an event here to think twice.

The bourbon bar only serves pours of bourbon or wine. The bartender was condescending when I approached to look at the bourbon list so I didn't order there nor will I ever. The main bar has a cocktail list and large selection of drinks. I got a lavender cocktail from their spring menu and it was not good. Too much syrup. Definitely not craft cocktails, more like dive bar drinks. We tried dry rub wings from Bristol's and a taco, burrito bowl, mango salsa, and churros from Roberto & Miguel's. The wings were decent but I'd get them extra crispy if I were to try them again. The food from Roberto's came in very small portions. The bowl was ok, the taco was ok. The mango salsa was very good! Chips were decent as well. The guacamole in the bowl seemed fresh and tasted good. The churros tasted like funnel cakes and needed more cinnamon. We LOVE churros but these were not good enough to finish. We've had better at Aces Pickleball surprisingly. We left hungry. Overall the food wasn't super impressive, the bars lacked quality or good customer service and it was very loud and crowded. Again, it was a Saturday so it could be a little more chill on other days, not sure. Lots of children running around, and party music playing. They need more seating space and better parking.
