Showers ($4 for 5 min)
Gina L.

Visited in mid-February. Rented gear (full drysuit) and used showers 2x. *Gear* Reserved gear (cheaper online) for hiking the Narrows - $49 pre-tax. Try on the gear (dry bib, neoprene aka wet-suit socks, boots, and walking stick), and make sure everything is comfy. Highly recommend picking up the day prior to 1) start the hike early 2) avoid crowds. Don't forget the hiking stick (I almost did!) Pick-up for day-before is 3pm-6pm. Otherwise pick-up for day-of is 8am-10am. I'm 5'3, and the highest the water level got was right at my chest. Water levels were about 50-60 cubic ft/s that day. *Showers* Showers are $4 for 5 min - buy tokens via cashier, and they'll give further instructions. Water was pretty hot, and I was happily clean before walking back to the campgrounds. Showers were clean (some hair here and there), but seemed like a "clean up after yourself" situation. Each shower room has a towel rack, two door hooks, and a bench for your shower items. They also have toiletries, etc. for purchase if you're missing anything. One toilet and couple sinks for general use. I'd recommend setting a timer on your phone for x min left so you can start rinsing off! I cut it a bit close ~ Had a pleasant experience with all the employees, but there was one guy I was asking questions who had some snarky responses. But overall, got what I needed, and would recommend this spot.

Conveniently located in the parking lot of Zions visitor center. For $35 you can rent a pair of moisture wicking socks, hydro boots, and a walking stick. They say to pick a stick about the height of your shoulders. It's inevitable not to get your feet wet but having the right gear helps especially when walking for miles on rocks and water that can be as high as your chest. Tip: I also recommend bringing a waterproof bag or some kind plastic to protect your belongings from getting wet especially your phone. They do sell hydro bags in the store and if I can remember correctly it was about $30.

Fantastic prices for day rentals! If you're planning on hiking the Narrows in the colder months, you should plan to rent your gear from here. For $55/person, we were fitted with hiking boots, neoprene socks, dry bib, and a walking stick. The gear was in great condition and definitely felt worth the price. Something to note: The shoes, socks, and bib aren't waterproof. They're designed to keep you warm in the water much like a wetsuit. So bring extra clothes to change into after your hike!

Zion Outfitter was the E-Bike company we used to ride throughout Mt. Zion National Park. Right before the park entrance, at the Springdale Parking, it was easy to sign the waiver and purchase the rental. Service was respectful, kind, and straight to the point. The price was acceptable for us, we had no regrets with the price because the view and ease of riding throughout the park! The bikes were in good shape and fully charged and helmets were clean. Within minutes you'll be able to be riding into the park & it is worth your while!

Came in to get gear for an early hike at the narrows. The line moved so fast and efficiently, we were able to hit the hike by 8am :)

Very helpful. A little expensive, but the E-bikes were worth it. Best location to get a bike in Zion.

Ask the Community - Zion Outfitter

Is the backpack rental water bladder compatible ? I have a 3ltr bladder id like to use.

No, the waterproof bags and backpacks seal to make an airtight compartment.

Are reservations absolutely necessary? We arrive the night before and plan on getting our gear when it opens at 7am.

They have a ton of equipment of all types. I'd say no.

The new location is really nice--quite the upgrade from their previous location. In past experiences, there was superb help in selecting & trying on shoes, which is why we went there. My husband had no idea what his shoe size is. Nor did I know because he always bought his own stuff. This having to do EVERYTHING for my man is a new experience. So I was shocked & dismayed that there wasn't a shoe guy to help. WTF? No more customer service in that shop. When I asked about the shoes, the guy said, "we just got these. I don't know anything about them ". What?? They used to be able to give the stats about everything on the shelf. So, I bit the bullet & became the shoe salesman. Pisses me off. Paid almost $200 for a pair of shoes that I had to sell to my man. Not impressed. I would have gone elsewhere but I couldn't handle another episode like that. This is a nice store, but the help went south. Where is that older guy who was so knowledgeable & helpful? These guys were nice but totally stressed me out.

I originally went in wanting to exchange or return for store credit, a pair of flip flops that had too short a shelf life. After talking to the extreme experts on outdoor footwear I was sold on my 1st pair of Chaka's. I was even debating on color & these guys, these most impressive experts even steered me in the right direction on that too! Since I purchased these Chaka Z1 Classics, I've taken them to 5 states, worn them in the ocean, the indoor & outdoor showers. I've pretty much only taken them off to sleep! Haha THANKS BUNCHES Jeremy, Doug, Dave, Thomas, & Ky! Chaka's for life ! Puppy Friendly! (9/6/22)

This is an outstanding place for anybody who is outdoorsy…read more My first impression after walking in the store was the extremely well done display of various game animals in the area, all with appropriate identification labels. You just don't see that very often. My interest was over in the gun department. As a Californian, subject to the inane and ineffective gun control laws passed by liberal legislators, I must say it is a pleasure to at least see actual firearms on display that only pictures of are allowed in CA. And whoa, ammo prices are great ! I got what I needed and ambled out to my car thinking how nice it is not to be treated like a potential criminal, like I am in CA. In CA to purchase ammo, you need to show ID, prove you have previously purchased a firearm, pay $1 fee, be subject to verification via computer and often, a lengthy wait for approval. This prevents crime? Of course not. Sportsman's Warehouse in St. George is a great place, thanks for a glimpse of rationality. And great ammo prices !

The two ladies at the front greeted me. When I walked into the apparel section I met a very cool guy named Darrell. Darrell is very knowledgeable about a lot of things. He is really big on merchandising and logistics. Once you get him talking about fishing though, you'd better pack a lunch. Ha! So lucky to have people like this that work in the service industry. Darrell explained so much about the store. He explained where I could find various items, the history of some taxidermic animals mounted on the walls, and other locations of Sportsman's warehouse is located throughout the country. That's A+ customer service. I would go back just to solicit Darrells expertise on outdoor gear and deals.

We did the 2.5 hour slot canyon repelling tour. The team working at Roam Adventures could not have been nicer - from the lady who checked us in to our assigned guides. We had Jackson and Coleman as guides and they drove us to the base of where Ladder Canyon dumps you out. Then we hiked up to the top of the canyon. The hike alone was a fun adventure! We had a 5 and a half year old with us and the guides made sure to stop often during the hike so we could all catch our breath. Jackson and Coleman were so patient with all of us and kept an extra eye on our little one. They provided clear instructions and always asked if we had questions. Then, when each person would pass through a difficult area or repel, they would be sure we understood what to do, individually. Such attention to detail! I can't recommend this adventure enough - I hope if you do this, you get Jackson and/or Coleman. Great guides who provide a safe yet adrenaline-packed fun!
