It's so nice to have a late night food option that's actually open late and isn't your typical fast food. Zio Al's is open until 3am and they have beautiful, hot, cheesy pizzas, pasta, calzones, and sub sandwiches. And wings and tenders! And great salads, french fries, breadsticks, a Zaatar wrap and Zaatar pizza. Halal options (they use beef products in place of pork) and veggie options. They don't currently have gluten free pizza crust or pasta, but they do have fresh, crunchy, customizable salads that are delicious. I'm all about a Greek salad or a grilled chicken Caesar salad, hold the croutons. Salad might not sound as appealing as fried jalapeño poppers or a meatball lovers pizza at 2 in the morning, but these salads are sizable with good produce and plenty of dressing. Can't complain too much! PS: If you find yourself at Hooligan's Pub around the corner, you can order food directly from Zio Al's to enjoy there. read more

Came here with high hopes and left not even eating past a few bites of everything which is super rare for me bc I love to eat. I got a gyro pizza and what I got was a cracker crust. I thought it was going to be like New York pizza, not a crunchy wheat thin crust with salad haphazardly tossed on top. My friend got a ham and pineapple pizza, it was okay, crust dint taste like anything. She also got ravioli and I wasn't a fan. I got a Greek salad which was good though! I go into this place a lot to pick up pizzas because I am an Uber driver. They always smelled very good so this one day I decided to buy me one. Great customer service. I don't know what took me so long to get one because this place has great thin crust pizza. I ordered me a thin crust with pepperoni, Italian sausage and mushrooms with extra cheese. It was so darn good, I ate my whole small pizza except for two pieces. That is only because I was stuffed and couldn't get it down. I ordered a 40 inch meat lovers regular hand tossed with Alfredo sauce and I receive red sauce from DoorDash and I call the restaurant and the woman told me that the pizza was mixed with both red and white sauce which is incorrect . Then she put me on hold for 5 minutes and told me the manager said I have to go through DoorDash even though it's not DoorDash's fault to open my pizza to see if they did their job correctly. OMGGG they're open late until 3AM, likely geared towards college students who stay up studying/have late classes. If you have an UTA ID, show it to the cashier for 10% off! AMAZINGGG!! Service is so kind, and my food always comes out piping hot. Nothing here is bad and everything is made fresh. I was greater by a very friendly girl at the counter. Not sure what to order because they had 4 or 5 different type crust. I went with original crust. Two large pizzas on either Pepperoni and the other with Gyro. Wait was not too long, but I should of called ahead. Pizza was great! Loved their red sauce. Cooked perfectly. The company i contract for wanted a pizza party for their employees. They employ over 1000 people. On very short notice (the night before) 3 orders -1st, 2nd, & 3rd shifts - for over 100 pizzas each was sprung onto the zio al's in arlington. The manager asked employees if they could stay late making the dough and if they could come in early the next day to start baking the first batch which i needed picked up a half hour before they would normally open. The staff there knocked it out of the park! The food was delicious and everything was ready on time! Their manager even helped me deliver and serve the pizzas.
