You might just want to bring along a pair of binoculars whenever you visit...just in case. There's street parking that's a close stroll to the beach, and one public washroom that I could find.

It is generally not ideal for swimming since the water in Puget Sound remains consistently ice-cold year-round. There's also shore crabs, hermit crabs, sea anemones, barnacles, sea cucumbers, and sea slugs. It's a 40-acre park on Puget Sound. There are no lifeguards on site. There's a footbridge crossing railroad tracks to reach the beach. The park is dog-friendly and offers both upper bluff and lower beach areas, some rocky with large cobble on the north side. There is parking available ( the one closest to beach fills up fast) with 2 other free upper parking lots. Restrooms are available.

Do note that you have to climb a fenced overpass across some railroad tracks, so if you're nervous about heights, don't look down! The washrooms here weren't well stocked with soap when I visited, but it might be because of the sheer volume of visitors. Multiple car parks were full. It's great to see that everyone is so interested in nature!

The beach is pretty quaint and there are logs strew about. While I was there around opening, I did not see the orcas but they were spotted there by the beach the next day. Would be very easy to drop in a paddle-board or kayak, although there is no dock. We were passed by mom and two baby deer in very close proximity while we visited.

So better be on time and make a line if this happens. This year was different. We got tickets but there was just another family. Maybe because we got there at midday. Beach was crowded. We had to walk just a little bit to get a spot and set everything. People come and go with every ferry so there's always space. Just a dew benches but everyone wants to be at the beach near the dry sand. Water will come later on, but the rest is wet. You have to walk for a few minutes to get to the water. It is pretty shallow. This year we had to run because it was shrimp season and they make sand unstable. At first everyone wants to dodge algae, but you end up stepping on it. Getting into the water was the same. It felt like quicksand. It didn't feel quite relaxing. 10 years ago it we would stay for hours in water. Kids would play easily. We'll, at least animals hace set a home! Jetty is a small island just a quarter of mile from Port of Everett. But i don't think you will be able to swim with all your stuff back and forth after a day there :D You ca always kayak if there's no more room in the Ferry. By the way, it is a small passengers only. Strollers won't move on sand so leave it in your car. Do bring everything you need like water, towels, a tent that can resist wind (it gets pretty windy and can blow umbrellas), etc. If you bring food, take all you garbage with you. Don't leave anything. I saw some kids stuff laying there waiting for the water to come over and take it to the sea. So sad. I carried most of it because there are no garbage bins in sight. Also, there is just one floating restroom. It tends to smell. Take it into consideration when drinking lots of water. We usually go to the one in the parking lot first and when coming back. It is very clean. Lots of stalls. Parking lot is big if you extend it to the grass area. There is always someone checking you paid for it.

There is also free covered and uncovered parking. BUT I'm also rating the food! There is a complimentary hot breakfast offered with breakfast burritos (and of course salsa, avocado, and hot sauce), scrambled egg, breakfast strata, sausage/bacon, and potatoes. Of course, no breakfast is complete without a waffle maker with both standard batter and a rotating flavored batter. There's also yogurt, breakfast cereal, milk, juice, coffee and tea. There is a huge selection so there's something in it for everyone! And the views are just amazing just from the dining area. I would stay here again!

Parking is plentiful and free (though coming from NYC parking looks plentiful almost everywhere in the suburbs), in parking lots along the park driving route curving around the water. There are multiple facilities on the water and off. On and along the water--a boat docking marina, multiple docks, fishing pier, a sandy beach with roped-in swimming area, nature area with info placards describing the surroundings and recent history of the park, and a pier extension with gazebo over the water. On the park grounds--a small water recreational boat storage with canoes, playground, picnic areas with running water and BBQ pits, and aforementioned walking trails. As others have mentioned a fair number of Canada geese and ducks reside in the area so best to follow the advisements posted and NOT feed them unless you want more goose/duck poop than there already is on the park premises. Otherwise lovely park and I would come back for a stroll in warmer months!

The tent sites are all clustered along a busy internal road where cars often drove quickly, even late at night. In a canvas tent, that's a lot of noise. There's also just not much between you and the road, which made us uneasy. We were advised to move sites because of possible septic runoff, and did relocate, which helped, but the traffic remained the biggest issue. Sleep was also tough between that, a 5 AM rooster, and coyotes chiming in with ambulance sirens. That said, the staff were excellent, kind, hard-working, and clearly stretched thin. My comments aren't about their effort. The bathrooms were consistently clean, though things like paper towels weren't always restocked, which again feels like a staffing level issue. The pool was clean and a highlight for my kids. We just wished the hours were longer. Ice and firewood on site were convenient, and the sense of community was real. The mini-golf is a fun idea, but it's in rough shape, with broken wood on some holes that stops the ball from getting through. Overall, there's a lot of heart here. If the tent sites were quieter and felt safer, and some amenities got much-needed repairs, we'd be back in a heartbeat. I sincerely hope that happens.
