They were kind, helpful, experienced, organized, and genuinely cared about making our wedding weekend perfect. One of the biggest benefits was being able to rent the venue for the entire weekend. Having Friday to decorate and Sunday to pick up our personal items made our wedding day on Saturday completely stress-free and allowed us to actually enjoy the day. The day-of coordination was also SO helpful - having their team there to keep everything moving and handle all the little details behind the scenes took so much off our plate. The venue itself is absolutely GORGEOUS, and the food was incredible. We had guests raving about it all night and even afterward! More than anything, the people are what make Fireseed so special. It's a family-owned business with the nicest staff and genuinely wonderful people behind it. The value they provided far exceeded the price in every category - the venue, food, coordination, service, and entire weekend experience. After working with them for over two years, we truly couldn't imagine having had our wedding anywhere else. 10/10 recommend Fireseed!

We toured quite a few online, then selected our top 10 in person. We went in person to tour the grounds and immediately upon walking into the venue, my daughter-in-loves eyes LITERALLY began to twinkle. I knew right away she had fallen in love with Lord Hill Farms (LHF). And this was just us entering the reception hall. LHF properties and gardens are nothing short of exquisite. Walking thru the grounds it almost feels like Tuscan gardens. Views of the cascades. Small lakes and water fountains. The grass is beautifully green and the outdoor ceremony location has a beautiful spot over look g the lake on property and an arbor you just need to decorate. The building has a very well maintained and sexy masculine grooms room. With a. At broom on that side to keep him away from the bride. The brides room is bright and elegant with gigantic mirrors & great lighting for the ladies to get their hair and make up done. The reception are has several cozy "loungey" areas for you to sit and chat. One has a fireplace too. The bar is ample and nice but also not in your face so it doesn't take away from the venue or decor. They have chandeliers and twinkle lights already available and beautiful white drapery that makes this venue both magical and elegant at the same time. The indoor ceremony location is very nice. One of the benefits of this being ur is it can accommodate a large even. We expected 300. So when you enter the space you have beautiful pillars available to you, gold chevalier chairs lining the ceremony hall and a beautiful walk way to the stage. We rented and added the white drapes for the big reveal of the bride entering and it just made the space dreamy. The windows allow for a nice view of the outdoor grounds. The one caveat: make note of the sunset time and where the sun will be at the time of your ceremony. It was back lit so very difficult to see the bride, groom, wedding party and their faces as they were silhouetted. That was one big negative. We didn't know so we're t able to rent lighting or prep our photographer to prepare. Still waiting on pics, so hopeful that she was still able to shoot well given the challenging lighting situation. We did chose to have an indoor wedding ceremony because may is generally cold and wet. Who knew we had the most beautiful weather. The other nice thing is the venue does have audio equipment for both ceremony and reception hall. Food: with a large wedding event we went with their pasta bar. This is not basic. The chef honestly prepares a very flavorful well presented pasta bar. I am a total foodie and was expecting basic at the food tasting but it was far from that. In fact the food rating made us feel so special. The team at LHF do not leave any details out so you feel like you're popping in on someone's event. Everything from appetizers to dessert and wine. One miss is we had many gluten free guests and the team forgot to put a sign out for GF guests to request their plate so there was some confusion for many of those guests. So that was a call out I made note for the venue. It would have minimized confusion and hurt feelings. The reception hall: round and rectangular tables are available. They'll help work a nice floor plan for you. There is plenty of great lighting. A nice set up for dessert, coffee and tea, bar, DJ and areas for Photo Booth etc. we used round tables. Which also have the hood chavalier seats. When we arrived for set up, all our tables were ready for us to set up. They had white linens and silverware in pace. We opted to bring our own napkins, runners and did our own decor and it was beautiful! One note: they've change policies on lot candle/tapers, even if they are dripless. Unfortunately, we didn't find out until the day of. Which means I now have several hundred new and very expensive dripless candles I can't send back. So get yourself battery operated or candles that are IN. Container that covers the tip of the candle. I understand why, and tracy was kind enough to explain what had happened a couple weeks earlier. Unfortunately it's one bad experience that messes it up for the others. So keep that in mind if you want actual kit candles hey a full container for each one so you can have the candle lit vibe. Staff. In General the staff was very attentive, helpful and friendly. We had a couple little hiccups w a couple of their younger staff. But hole it up to youth and new work experience. Tracy and team were very receptive to the feedback. Pricing. Very reasonable for a full service. A venue that runs you 6k is not apples to apples. Be careful as you compare what you get. LHF offers full service. A special thank you and shout out to Jared. But also to Tracy and her team.

As first-time wedding planners, we were nervous about pulling everything together. But LHF made the process feel seamless. With their all-inclusive offerings--catering, bar service, and even décor--they provided a detailed questionnaire that helped us visualize every aspect of our day. It truly felt like they were guiding us through the planning, not just hosting the event. The venue itself is stunning. If you've browsed their website, you already know how beautiful it is--but seeing it in person is something else. We saw our guests taking photos near the fountain and in the valley with the mountains creating the perfect summer backdrop. What really stood out, though, was the food and service. One of our aunts came over to our sweetheart table during dinner just to rave about the meal--the London Broil was perfectly tender, and the salmon was flavorful (and most importantly, not dry). They even made sure our vegetarian guests were well taken care of, which we deeply appreciated. Since most of our décor was DIY, we were a bit anxious about setup while still trying to stay relaxed on the big day. LHF made it easy. They had linens ready early and guided our families on where to place everything. The floor managers even stopped by while we were getting ready to introduce themselves and let us know they were available for anything we needed. That level of thoughtfulness and calm energy made all the difference.

However, it is a bit confusing as they share the same address. The house was large and comfortable. With 5 groomsmen, the room we got ready in was a bit tight. However, there is a different room with a foosball table that can be used as well, but then you are all not in the same room, although the other room is right next door. Weddings in Woodinville is a really fun wedding show. You should trust me because I've been there…read morethree times! It takes place every year on the last Sunday in January. The regular tickets for 2019 were $50 each, but they also had early bird tickets for $40. This event always sells out, so buy your tickets early! For 2019 they chose seven venues in Woodinville: Chateau Lill, Columbia Winery, Hollywood Schoolhouse, JM Cellars, Novelty Hill Januik, Willows Lodge, and The Woodhouse Wine Estates. They also featured seven different wedding planners. Basically, each planner coordinates a "wedding" at their venue. Each place has a theme, wedding colors, flowers, a DJ or live entertainment, a photobooth, a caterer, and a dessert vendor. They also have other things like wedding dresses, menswear, hair/makeup artists, jewelry, etc. Since the entire place is fully decorated, you feel the ambiance of a real wedding. All of the vendors involved will be on site, so you can talk to them in person. At the beginning of the event, you park at The Woodhouse Wine Estates. Registration takes place inside a big tent in the parking lot. You can register anytime between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM, but the actual tour takes place between 12 PM and 5 PM. You will get a large burlap tote bag to hold your stuff and a small notepad to take notes. Since there are seven different venues, they provide luxury shuttles as transportation (Butler Seattle). The shuttles are very comfortable (you can stand up in them!) and the drivers are really nice. Each one holds about 20 people and they run every few minutes. You can stay at each place as long (or as little) as you like, but they recommend spending at least 30 minutes at each location. Weddings in Woodinville is a like a real life Pinterest board! You will definitely get some cool wedding inspo by attending this event. Plus, it is incredibly valuable to talk to the vendors in person instead of e-mailing them questions back and forth. It is so much better to see their work in real life, instead of just looking at pictures on their website. This event feels unique every year because they get different wedding planners each time. They usually show a variety of wedding styles and have vendors for all types of budgets. Even though this event takes place in Woodinville, most of the vendors involved will do weddings all over the Pacific Northwest. Lastly, you get plenty of delicious free food here (appetizers, wine, desserts), so it is impossible to leave hungry. :-)

I understand, its all about the bride, but I still paid $40 and they don't give you the bags for holding stuff, the information, the flowers, nothing! The best part is probably the limo rides and the free hot dog outside. There isn't that much wine, so don't go for that. We saw some cool ideas, but also know that the vendors they invite are really expensive. For example, we saw a really cool decor idea: the decorator specialized in weddings over $100,000 dude. The set-up before booking the locale, dress, food anything was $40k! No wonder it looks great.

UNBELIEVABLE from start to finish!!!! My daughter and her fiance are low-key people (not "low-key"…read morelike my students misuse it; the old-fashioned low-key). They searched and searched for a place that matched their vibe and their pocketbook. And even though Sadie Lake was almost two hours from their home, it proved to be the perfect choice (well, except for the local dinosaur infestation). From Day 1, they' were in love with DeeDee. She offered lots of items for free that couples usually have to pay to rent or buy. Everything was all listed on her website so even those of us in other states could peruse. The location is so beautiful and the premises really felt quaint and homey, not formal and stuffy like some venues. And then there were things that no other venue offered, like the boat on the lake for some fantastic photos! I think the bonus was that it was probably the least expensive place they looked at. Deedee's not in it to make bank; she does it because she has a beautiful place that she wants others to enjoy on their special day. As the mother-of-the-bride, I'm not surprised that I thought it was the second best wedding I've been to (don't I have to pick my own as #1), but soooo many guests told me they felt the same way. I can't imagine a reason why you wouldn't pick this location!!

Disappointing Experience with Sadie Lake…read more We originally booked Sadie Lake for our daughter's wedding, but unfortunately, our experience was far from what we had hoped for. The venue itself was okay, but our biggest disappointment was dealing with DeeDee. Throughout the process, we felt that rules and expectations continued to change, leaving us increasingly uncomfortable with our decision to book there. One of the most off-putting things was the way DeeDee communicated with our family. She would only speak directly to the bride and would not address the mother of the bride or the mother of the groom when we asked questions. While we completely understand that the bride's wishes should come first, we felt there was no reason to dismiss family members who were actively involved in planning the wedding. It came across as rude and unprofessional. I've read the reviews about DeeDee on Yelp, but I've also heard terrible things from other people, which makes me question whether those reviews accurately reflect everyone's experience. Our experience was quite the opposite of what many of the reviews describe. As for the venue, the decorations and furnishings available for use looked more like items collected from garage sales than what I would expect from a wedding venue. The groom's room was in a garage, and the bridal suite was in an attic with mismatched furniture. Neither was particularly impressive. We ultimately decided to cancel more than a year before the wedding. We understood that the contract stated there were no refunds, but we were told that if our date was rebooked, we could receive a partial refund. To this day, I don't know whether that date was rebooked. Given how far in advance we canceled, we had hoped there might be some flexibility, but unfortunately, we lost the money we had paid. In the end, it wasn't so much the venue itself that caused us to walk away, but our experience with DeeDee and the changing expectations. We simply didn't feel comfortable trusting such an important day to someone we found so difficult to communicate with. Thankfully, we found another venue, and our daughter and her fiancé had an absolutely beautiful wedding. Looking back, changing venues was the best decision we could have made. My advice to anyone considering Sadie Lake would be to carefully review the contract, ask plenty of questions, and make sure every detail and expectation is clearly understood before booking.
