I couldn't be happier with this venue. Not only did my cousin get married at it in 2018, her sister got married there in March of 2021, and my husband and I also did just a few weeks ago under the beautiful Maple trees that line the driveway. Not because it's a family tradition, but because we LOVE the place that much. Not one of our 3 weddings looked the same. Not only do they offer SO MANY different backdrops for your ceremony the place decorates itself. From a beautiful wooden chandelier inside to barn, to beautiful landscaping, and the view of Mt. Baker in the back the venue is everything we dreamed of and more. They also have all the decorations you would need if you choose to use them from lanterns, cedar rounds, and all different size vases for every table, to wine barrels, candles, and even more cupcake/cake stands then you know what to do with. They provide you with time at the venue every month for planning purposes, along with so much more. I will always recommend this venue for any season! The host, Jessie and her husband are absolutely wonderful! They are quick to respond with any questions, super accommodating to the needs of the bride and groom, were able to adjust the hours we had the place, and made sure everything we needed was taken care of. Great people!

A little sneak peek to our wedding day at Maplehurst Farm

Wooow ooooo ahhhhh, it's what u say when u first arrive to the venue! The vintage red barn is surrounded by lush and thick shrubs and trees spread across the property. The driveway to the venue is beautifully lined with fully grown trees that are essential for the most amazing wedding photos (we just had ours in august) we took advantage of that and are so happy we did! We loved the barn where we had the reception and decorated it with Jessie's amazing variety of decor items, everything Jessie had on her property perfectly matched the dream wedding we had in mind, we were able to use everything to our advantage speaking to her and organizing the time and details to make our dream wedding to reality was so easy and very flexible. Once again, if you are looking for a outdoor venue that is full of color and speaks elegance and love, this should be your first pick!

I will always remember my wedding day as beautiful and stress free because of the services provided by this business. A Chapel on Swan's Trail is a gorgeous venue with an incredibly helpful staff. The Chapel is over 100 years old and located up high on a hill with a beautiful view overlooking the Snohomish valley and downtown Everett. The grounds are gorgeous with lush landscaping and something to see everywhere you look. The best part of the venue, in my opinion, is that it can be held indoor or outdoor. On my wedding day we hoped for an outdoor ceremony but were able to easily move the ceremony indoors once we saw the rain was not giving up. We moved indoor for the ceremony but the rain broke and we were still able to have the reception outdoors. Lynn, the owner of the Chapel, seriously took the weight off of me in helping figure out all of the details in planning and she took lead on the day of. The first time I went to the chapel to meet with Lynn I was overwhelmed and after leaving I felt like things were making sense and everything was under control. Lynn even recommended our pastor, Reuben Sapien, whom everyone loved. She was able to provide all of the linens on site and even provided staff to help throughout the wedding day and (which was huge) a cleanup crew so we did not have to worry about that. If you are searching for a venue, take the time to meet with Lynn and tour the property yourself and you will see the care that goes into planning your day and into the property to make it special.

Perfect for couples who want a BEAUTIFUL wedding (and on a budget!)…read more If you want a royal wedding, HERE YOU GO! We loved hosting our special wedding day at Bastyr University Chapel! We absolutely adored the venue, and our guests did too! Thank you Emma for all your help during rehearsal and during the event to ensure all the equipment and everything was working flawlessly. We loved it and appreciate all the memories. We choose this chapel for its incredible beauty, all inclusivity equipment, beautiful location and budget. We wanted to spend less time on things like decor and setting up tables/av, and more time with our loved ones. Best pros which saved us a ton of time and funds. 1) No decor needed - the chapel is already gorgeous, and so is the exterior if you want some photos/videos 2) Equipment included - mics, av, stand, chairs, check-in tables, table cloths, brooms, changing rooms, table cloths, etc. 3) Amazing floor space and acoustics: We had lots of bollywood style dancing and performances so floor space and acoustics were important! 4) Serene - In the middle of a state park (perfect for fall, winter or summer) Free parking for all your guests! 5) Someone on sight to help ensure things run smoothly (note, this is a staff member, and not a wedding coordinator or technician) 6) Fits up to 200+ people do you don't have to compromise on the guestlist. We only had around 80 max to keep it intimate as we wanted to interact with everyone. 7) Affordable price - We would probably not have had a wedding if venue prices were any higher! Honestly this is a great deal. Cons: - Strict no food policy, though the cafeteria is right. I wish they allowed us to at least serve cake/dessert outside within the time frame as it's a cultural tradition. We brought water bottles for our guests. Instead of a traditional ceremony followed by reception, we had an intimate party the day prior at our apartment lounge with food. Cost as of 10/2019 is $1400 for summer-Oct, and $1100 for winter months. $250 deposit. This was one of the best prices when we were shopping around. Alternatives were community centers but they required us to do all the setup and decor, which we didn't want to burden our loved ones with. Absolutely Recommend for any couple who wants a BEAUTIFUL wedding (and on a budget!).

I recently got married here…read more I say that with such ease now, but for anyone who has ever been part of planning a wedding, you know that it is anything but easy! Pam Vaughn, the events coordinator there was a pleasure to work with. They were very accommodating to us regarding our budget and the whole thing went off pretty seamlessly. A couple of perks about Bastyr: - The chapel is huge and gorgeous - if you like traditional European style churches, you will love their chapel! - They've started doing receptions there also and the food is top notch. They grow a lot of things locally on their grounds and supplement by buying things locally, so everything is excellect quality. We had a chicken dish and their vegetarian lasagna and had nothing but glowing reviews from all of our guests. - Compared to a lot of places I priced out, they are very affordable. Having a wedding officiating business as well, I will definitely be referring Bastyr to my brides.

With limited traveling time prior to the wedding day, we did most of our research online. Which helped us to narrow our search to visit locations in a week. The Celebration Pavilion at QE Park. The location is amazing, top of the highest point to view downtown Vancouver. Great place to take wedding photos, gardens, a bridge, waterfall & a fountain, all wonderful backdrops. Upon meeting with Allan Burnett, we knew The Celebration Pavilion at QE Park was our future wedding site. All of the stresses in planning a destination wedding was put to ease with Allan's team of experts from floral arrangements to the music coordination and etc. Coordination was simple and seamless. Wedding day: our service was conducted by Allan himself. There was laughter and tears, he made it so personal that our guests later asked if he was a friend of the family. To The Chapel Group: Thank you for the great memories that we will treasure for our lifetime together as husband and wife.

As a…read morevendor, I really appreciate the layout of the venue and the event support that the owners provide, such as moving tables and chairs around and helping in the cleanup/takedown process of the event. Even taking away the trash at the end of the night. So many venues expect the couple/clients to haul tables and chairs and trash to obscure storage locations on their property at 11:00 pm. This makes a big difference when hiring our team to help with takedown. I was able to give my clients a huge discount for my takedown/cleanup service. So all of you potential couples, think about this for your convenience and ease of operation for your event when looking for a wedding venue. And did I mention...this venue is stunning, pristine, close in to town and has beautiful landscaping! vendor: Lisa Faircloth Events, LLC.

It's in a neighborhood and set very far back from any houses. So it's a hidden gem! This place has amazing large lawns and lots of floral shrubs. Just driving up the lane to the venue gave me butterflies. The owners were very helpful throughout the whole day. They even helped my husband and I get my keys out of my locked car! The father of the groom thanked the owners in his toast so I have a good feeling they were wonderful to work with like he said. As it started to get dark they lit torches (not tacky tiki ones) around the outdoor dining/reception area and have so many other great lighting touches. This has to be one of the most beautiful wedding venues I've seen (and I toured a lot for my wedding a few years ago). Just the amount of work it takes to make the grounds look that good is very impressive.
