I loved the avocado toast, which was very simple and the ingredients spoke for themselves. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The soup, we'd asked to make extra hot, which the staff kindly did. It had way too much garlic in it, though. It felt like I was eating chunks of garlic, even though there weren't chunks of anything in the soup. I would've loved it otherwise. The menu is limited, but I'd recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

I like the steamed ones as well and I think that is an option there. I'm definitely going to avail myself of the plate lunches once things open up in Island County. Right now only one person is allowed in the lobby at a time and there is no outdoor dining option at this location. It is a much anticipated celebration for all the hard work and dedication by our teachers & staff. We wanted to provided them with higher quality of food than store bought deli. We raised $2300 thru a lot of effort throughout the year to make this happen. This is what we paid McFarland plus a $120 gratuity. To our dismay, the food they provided are nothing like the pictures on their website but looks & taste alot like platters from Costco. We had to scramble at the last minute to make up for the inadequate menus & lack of quality & variety of their catering service. When we reached out to them, no one responded. Hopefully, you will not have the same experience as our 100 teachers & staff had for their well deserved luncheon that turned out to be a cheap quality and very overpriced catering event.
