Stilly Brook farm was the dream location for my wedding. From the planning process to the wedding day, I could not have asked for a better venue. It's the perfect set up and just so beautiful. Our guests complimented it over and over and even with some rain it was the perfect day. We had planned to have the ceremony outside, but with pouring rain in the forecast we switched to the chapel and we still loved it just as much. I wasn't sold on a barn wedding for a friend in a remote WA city, but after spending the day at Stilly Brook it was a fabulous day at a fun venue! The grounds are beautiful, outdoor seating for 140, the sound wasn't amazing but I believe that was a separate vendor! 150 yards from ceremony to reception venue with bar in between both areas. A little hint of farm down the road and not enough bathrooms cost them the 5th star but a really good option for a northwest beautiful wedding. read more

My wife and I got married here (7/30/16), and we could not have asked for anything better! This venue exceeding our expectations is every way possible. The staff were one of the best things about this venue. They were nothing but helpful from the day we visited the venue for the first time to our "send-off" on or wedding day. Through the whole process they were both nice and knowledgeable. They were especially helpful on the actual day of our wedding, working with us to find solutions to different issues that came up during the day. The venue itself was incredible. What my wife and I loved about it is there are two possible places to have the ceremony (in the barn and on the lawn), and both are stunningly beautiful. When you live in WA, you never know when rain might come, and it was such a relief to know that even if rain came and we had to move the ceremony into the barn, it was still going to be beautiful. For us, the rain stayed away, and we held the ceremony outside in the very well-maintained garden area, under a big, lush tree. It was amazing! I could not recommend this venue highly enough. If my wife and I had to do all over again, we definitely would choose to do it at Stilly Brook! read more

The only thing I can say good about Stilly Brook Farm is that the venue is beautiful. I catered a wedding at this location recently and if you cook anything outdoors, the trip from the kitchen to the outside cooking area is through the buffet area, through a couple of doors, and across the building. I was planning on running a double sided buffet, however I couldn't as I would disturb the guests walking back and forth. It isn't very conclusive for a cater that cooks on location. Personally, the management has no couth. On the night of the families rehersal, while I was setting up, I overheard the owner talking to the wedding party and family as they were kindergartners, "now repeat after me". The family started setting up the dining room during the rehersal and while they were not supposed too, as the bride knew but the family who was setting up did not, the onwer just sat back and watched instead of saying something. Then she rushed the family out as time was nearing, not over, but nearing. After the family was done, the owner chewed out the coordinator, which should have happened, but what shouldn't have happened is that she said the father of the bride and the bride must have a learning disability. That's not cool, you should keep your personal comments to yourself. The venue does not allow outside bartenders, you must use theirs. That bartender is a personal friend of the owner and has no customer service skills. Refusing to leave the bar area, being rude to the guests, and refusing to comply with the wishing of the people who are paying for her services. Makes me wonder if there is a kickback to the owner for using her. Also thier was a side party in the bar for someone else. Who's alcohol did they use, the weddings parties? read more

This is a beautiful wedding venue in such a peaceful setting! So many options for how to set up an event depending on your party size or needs, the grounds and outbuildings are beautiful, and the owners were such kind and helpful hosts! I would absolutely go back! read more

I recently photographed a wedding at this venue and for a first time in my 29 years of being a wedding photographer I will NEVER shoot another event at this venue no matter what is paid. First and most important this venue is a fire trap for anyone that is handicap or needs physical assistance in any way. The area to get married is on the second floor with no elevator. I watched a group of men pick up a wheelchair and carry a very old lady up the stairs to see the wedding. On their way back down the stairs they almost dropped her twice which would have been devastating. From a photographic point of view the venue on the outside was very nice however if it rains as it did during the wedding I worked your options are VERY limited. The actual area for the ceremony is filled with rich wood throughout. This is great for a log cabin but the dark wood will steal your light and make for dark pictures so make sure your photographer has a BIG flash! The owners of this establishment are like no others I have ever seen. I witnessed the owner of the venue demoralize and degrade the bride and her father she also made slanderous statements to guests about them. The venue requires that you purchase your own alcohol but you MUST use their bartenders with no questions asked. They will tell you the bartenders are not affiliated with the venue and are a separate "business". This "bartender" is not only not a business but she is the best friend of the owner of the venue. There was a birthday party with cake and all during the wedding! Not before or after but during. The bartender was very rude to the guests including the father of the bride and me the photographer. They refused to serve champagne for the guests to toast with. They wanted the entire party of 160 people "come outside and get their own". Since this was not possible the DJ and I had to do the bartenders job. The bride, groom and entire family were so upset by the way they were treated that they decided to close the bar an hour early. The bartender was informed of this and refused the family a last call. When she was told there is an hour of service left and the family wants one last drink she said "no last calls" then shut her door refusing the service that was paid for. I have never in my life posted a bad review especially about another vendor because it's bad business. I however could not stay silent and allow this place to destroy another wedding. We can't speak highly enough of Stilly Brook Farm! My husband and I loved having our wedding here! The staff was incredibly kind, generous, and answered all of our silly questions that about-to-be-newly-marrieds have! Terri and her team were more than extraordinary and we would recommend their venue any day of the week, all day long! The site is beautiful, dreamy and everything a bride could ever desire for her wedding day. They made this a extremely horrible day for us. The venue was one of the worst the owner was not helpful, talk down to the gest like they were in Kenny garden. She even told a few of my family that my daughter any my self are retarded and have leering disabilities. The venue set up for catering was horrible they had to come in through the main part of the venue with all the catered food. The bartender was one of the worst I've ever seen when we as for a champagne toast they expected a 150 guess to get up stand in line and Receive their champagne through the little window is standing in the pouring rain unsatisfying. who wants to stand in line before a toast so my photographer and bartender pased out the champagne so would could tost.. Also they had a personal party for a birthday of one of the bartenders in the bartender in area so whose products of the use for this party mine? On top of that when we asked for a last call they were super rude and said they don't do allows call, and went ahead and slammed the door shut in our guest face. Stilly Brook is a perfect venue! We looked at several venues in the area, (8 to be exact) and this was the first one we viewed and could hardly wait to get back and book! The grounds are so beautiful and pristine! So many flowers in bloom and grass impeccable. Terri was fabulous to work with, as was LeeAnn, (the bartender) and Nichole, ( Day of Event Coordinator). All were easy to reach with questions and so helpful. The brides dressing room, grooms dressing room, and kitchen were all so well equipped. Our daughters wedding went off without a hitch, and I attribute this to this fabulous spot. read more

Flew across the country to see a beautiful wedding. Unfortunately, it was not the venue we hoped for. The owner was not very nice from the beginning. The owner of the venue told guests that the Father of the bride and the bride had learning disabilities used a derogatory statement towards their mental stability. So very unprofessional to speak about the person who is paying you. We needed to set up for the wedding but, we were not given time to do this except for a few hours prior to the ceremony. Not enough time at all. All that was promised was definitely not delivered. Who wants to pay for someone else's birthday party during your wedding? That's right, they celebrated an employees birthday during my nieces reception. It took several of us guests to pass out the toasting champagne. Shouldn't that be the bartender's job? Stilly Brook In Washington State did a very bad job of putting on my grand daughters wedding. Very bad venue, very bad bar tender. Lots of nasty things going on at the wedding. The owner is taking your money and not delivering what she promises. Would never recommend this place to any one for any event if you want a great time. Should not be in business. Also had a birthday party for someone on my grand daughters reception. Not a good thing. My son payed for that time. Don't even consider this nasty place. read more

The owner is like a German Gestapo for timelines and extras, we were forced to use a friend of hers to be the bartender who during our wedding decided to have a birthday party for her associate and they refused to pass out champagne for the toast, on the night of the rehearsal which had to be paid for extra because it was not on the day the owner wanted some people were a little bit early that made the owner mad, we went passed the hour a little and some of the decorations where put out while waiting for the final people in the wedding party to make it, and because of this the owner grabbed one person who was helping out only and told her off. The owner said the father and the bride he'd learning disabilities. All this can be yours as well for the base price of 5000 dollars everything else is extra and you must maintain a very precise time line. And don't be short on cash. read more
